This app is just what I was looking for! Since loading it, I've used the "Daily Reading" feature every day! Contrary to a lot of other comments I've read, it only took me about 45 mins to download it, about the same amount of time to install it (advantage of HSIA, maybe?).Some suggestions: 1) add the ability to rotate the iPhone for landscape view 2) add ability to select specific verses to start the audio (for instance touch which verse you wish to start at 3) include/track dates in "My Reading History" 4) maybe improve quality control a little. I noticed the reader adds or omits a word or two from time to time, nothing major, just a quirk.Nice job folks, thanks for making this available.

I LOVE this app and cannot belive it's free! The narrator has a pleasant voice, it's easy to listen to exactly what you want, and it has lots of extras. For those who say the download is too long, it is the entire Bible, so have patience. If you haven't downloaded it yet, do like I did and start the download before you go to bed. I started it, hooked my phone up to charge, and when I woke up, there it was! Thank you again for this awesome app!!!

This app. Is the only reason I still have the iPhone. I love to hear the Word of God and now I can lisson while I work. Not to mention this was FREE! I almost spent eighty dallors on a set of bible CDs but then I found this. This app works great with no problems pn my iphone.Thanks for putting this together. Great app! If you were to do an update I would like to see the auto scroll pause with the reader. Thanks again I.C.A

Great job awesome tool for all who are mostly on the go. I am truly blessed that I came across it and downloaded it with no problem through iTunes. God's Word is what we need daily as spiritual food for our souls just as we need physical food for nourishment/survival of our physical body. I am new to the iPhone and am thrilled to have found this to listen to at work. Love the follow-along of the text. If I get pulled away I can find the context again quickly. Love that there is the entire Bible. Had no trouble downloading as I listened to the warning and was patient. It downloaded thru iTunes just fine. Thanks to all who created this, especially the reader, and at no charge even. May God bless you abundantly.

Thank you for adding this app, I love it. Now I can listen to the word of God while doing anything at all. I haven't had time to go to church, but when I do miss, I don't have to worry about getting fed. The word of God is just right there. So if you’re looking for a good bible app. this is the one to get. My wife told me about it and she put it on her ipod. And when I heard it and seen it on her's, I was really Jealous. I was like how much did it cost. When she told me it was free. I was like; wow I just got to have it. It did take a while to download, but it was well worth it. So get it, open it, listen to it, and love it.

This App may not make it in iPod's TV ad simply because of the nature of what it does, but all iPod owners who love the Word of God will agree this a MUST DOWNLOAD Apps! I use it on my way to work, filling my thoughts with the Scriptures. With the recent update including the OT plus more, this will take a lot of space but every byte used is well worth it!!! Thanks much, developers for sharing your God-given talents to us!!!

Thanks for making this audio for those of us who do not like to read. I had no problems downloading so those of you who do, please do not leave the developer neg feedback. That makes a huge impact on what can become of this app. Also a suggestion is that It definitely needs to be in more translations and when read needs to have more enthusiasm and emotion in the voice. It sounds to much like just reading some words on a page and not like the roadmap that the Word actually is. Thanks and God Bless!!

Beliefs and religions aside, as far as an application for the iPhone goes, this one is pretty great. It has a wide variety of options, it handles well with interruptions (incoming calls), and it seems to save where you left off, which is always nice. There are, on occasion, weird volume changes and seemingly a different reader or two?, but all in all I even enjoyed the reader(s)' voice(s). I also enjoy the opportunity to read along, that is always pretty cool. Only real question... When is the OT going to be added? Oh, and a big thanks to the creators of this app, and all of those who took part in it. "oh yeah, CINNAMON BITS!!!"

like the other reviewer said "would give a billion stars if I could". Amen! K another thing... It's free! Wow watablessing! Only neagative da reader was kinda off so read while he reads. It was minor though. I also appreciate the fact that this is the KJV. That is the only true version. I can't stand any of this new junk. God bless. I am fourteen and already in Joshua! THX!!!!!! <3 Jesus!!! Btw When u hear those trumpets sounding it will already b 2 late. Jesus is looking 4 u!

@ Chili Spice- what are you talking about? You have not even reviewed the App!Anyways, app is great. Not only do you have an audio of the whole bible you also included extra content as well. I really can't imagine how you've done all this work for free. Is there a place where we can make a donation? I just want to point out to potential downloaders. It's best to use iTunes to download this app and then sync it to your device. For those of you who may not be aware... The size of the app is due to the fact that the entire bible is audio on your device. So it will take a while to download even on iTunes. The sync is much shorter that the download time.For the developers. You have done a tremendous job with this app.Thank you for bringing it to us. One thing I would like to see is to be able to start the audio on a specific verse rather than have to start at the beginning of the chapter and then use the slider. I'm sure that may take a lot of work too. So if you do it, great. If not that's ok too.

The previous reviewers must have slow computers, or computers with problems to have such problems. Yes, this is a huge download, and needs to be backed up as soon as you get it. It took me about 15 minutes to download it. I have a fast MacBook Pro computer, so I had no problems. The thing with big downloads of any kind is to go and make a cup of coffee or something and let the computer do its work. Jumping around doing other things may be the reason that others have had problems downloading this.
The audio in this app is terrific and very clear. I once bought another KJV Bible as a audio CD and was very unhappy with the Swedish accent dialog, but this voice is clear and good and precise. There is an auto-scroll in the Preferences which pretty much matches the speed of the audio, so no problems there at all.
If you are looking for a KJV audio Bible then I absolutely recommend this App to you. I can't praise it highly enough.

Let me tell ya, I am a blind gentlemen using voiceover on an IPod touch 32gb. There is no secret what God can, and will! do! This software is so amazing, and 100% accessible with voiceover. An Awesome Bible App

I really love this app. It has so much information. I love listening to my daily reading while following along. The maps and all the other tools are great too. I haven't listened to any of the podcasts yet, but I intend to. My Brother is a Pastor and I told him about this app and he loves it also. I have two other Bible Apps that I still use. I can never get enough of these apps to learn the word of God and have a more intimate relationship with him. Praise the Lord for the developers. Keep up the great work and God Bless.

and a bonus for me is I don't have to read i can get it dictated to me.... thanks again i think its a must for each and everybody!

I was going to agree with another review about sound, but then I tried pressing the speaker, and even though you would think the speaker being there means the sound is on, it isn't. Press the speaker and the pause shows up and the sound begins. This is a large app to get for free! I will be listening to it every chance I get. Other versions would be great though, like NIV.Thank you so very much for this and God Bless you.

WARNING!! This is a huge file! If you want a lighter version (800 mb smaller) that's more dependent on the Internet for access, then you want the network version (good for iPhones with 3g). Now for the review: I LOVE IT! I have two other KJV Bibles on my iPod and this outshines them all. One version is ok but the scrolling is very slow, making it difficult to navigate...especially when using it in church. The other includes a spinwheel for books, chapter and verse. But it also includes the Book of Mormon. I'm not Mormon so I'm not really interested. Then there's this...WOW! It contains maps, audio, search, books divided up in their catagories. You can turn off audio so you can read it. It'd be nice to have the spin wheel for navigation and option to highlight passages. Then there's the podcast sermons and Bible studies...notes...I LOVE IT! Another review described this app as a virus. I'm watching out for that. This is the only good review I've given. I don't hand out good reviews unless they deserve it...so if that happens, I'll be back. Until then, good job guys!!
