Olive Tree Support was great

I purchased this Bible app a few weeks ago and gave it one star due to several features that were missing from the screen shots that were displayed. Jesus's words not in red, no bookmarks, no multiple word search, and no verse or footnote color option. I notified Olive Tree and the next day I recieved an email from them apologizing and they assured me they would put out a update. A little over 2 weeks later the update was there to include everything the app showed in the screen shots and the description. I am very pleased with the app and the Olive Tree Support team for responding in such a timely manner. This app fits all my needs and I am very pleased with it. Thanks Olive Tree!!!

...that make this app so great. It's not what I would call flashy; it's just very smartly laid out and very easy to navigate. The way it looks on your iPhone screen makes it a top choice to read along with Mantis and Acro. I could go on and I probably should but I'm tired tonight. To sum it up, though, It deserves five stars!
Don't give the developer a low rating because you're ticked at Apple. I've found it's better to write the developer. 99% of them have been eager to help.
NKJV Bible

I purchased NKJV bible from iTune Store after downloading free Bible Reader. The problem I face is the NKJV bible is a seperate application and not part of Bible Reader and other versions of Bible. So if I want to switch to a different version I have to close my NKJV and open Free Bible Reader. I would really love to have my NKJV part of Bible Reader so when I compare texts it would be easier. If anyone has resolved this issue, write a note, would really appreciate it.

Just what I've been looking for, an easy to use NKJV for my iPhone, what more could one ask. I've had this on my phone for about 3 months now and it works without a glitch. Just a minor point but it would be a really usefull addition to be able to highlight passages in colour similar to what I used to have on my PalmPilot, but hey, it's great as it is and everyone should have a copy of it on their iPhone. Thanks!
Great Bible Application

I was looking for a New King James Bible application with a good concordance. I enjoy the ease of reading the NKJV while still preserving other features not found in other Bible interpretations (capitalization, etc.). I truly appreciate the ease of use of this application. The concordance is excellent. I have been able to find every scripture reference I have thrown at it so far, and I have tried to be extra picky to test its capabilities. I wish I could highlight scripture. I asked Olive Tree about that, and they say they are working on this for the newer version. For $5.00 you can't go wrong.

This is a straight forward Bible app with search funtionality. I like reading scripture when waiting, and this app is very convenient. The text is easy to read and finding specific scriptures is as easy as tap, tap, tap. I love how I can copy a passage and paste it into an email very quickly. Also bookmarks work very well. I also use this as a quick word or passage search when I am studying. Overall great app!!!

I've been buying Olivetree bible reader since the days or Windows Mobile, and now after switching to iPhone 3G I was glad to find it available.
But I do hope that it would have more options as in the Windows Mobile version like the option to have every verse start off at a new line, paragraph so to make each verse look clearer.
Also speed improvement would great be appreciated, for some reason I felt that its still pretty rough on the iPhone 3G, and I believe it can be better.

This is a great app, witha simple flaw. Once you have navigated to your verse you have no way to easily click back to the Book page. You can click back to the start page where all Books are listed. But often times you are in a large book and simply want to back up and click on a new verse. Please provide for this option. Another request would be a Bible verse look up option for prayer or Bible study. Let's say that you are iIl or depressed, you can select an option to search for verses that will help you with that. Think about the book series Prayers that Avail Much, an option to read a prayer and Bible verses would be great. There is no other app out there like this and would make the Olive Reader a powerful tool and resource. To the reviewer that installed 2 apps, all you need to do is select the option to download the free books to the reader that you paid for and they should combine. If not visit their website there is a very useful how to about combining your readers.

I was worried at first this would be similar to the free version whereby the text would be displayed cramped together. Thankfully it's not. It's very easy on the eyes with perfect spacing between each line. A paragraph topic was also a nice inclusion. All in all a very attractive buy. Don't hesitate, just buy it and be filled with God's word.

NKJV Will synch if you go to setting then to account on same App. Great App for my Ipod. I use this bible studies on my Ipod more than my PC or Palm.

This is excellent. Very easy to adapt font size, style and colour to your liking. Is quick to find the book, chapter and verse you're looking for and has many other features. Is by far the best $5.99 I have ever spent, so I highly recommend purchasing this version.

I just bought this application this afternoon ( Nov. 29, 2009 ) and I love it. It is very user friendly and for my iPod Touch, I don't have to be connected to the internet. It's all in the application. I highly suggest this one. The early american text just made easier to understand without changing the intent from the original writer.
