I have been a fan of Star Trek since I can remember. I was raised on it and some of my fondest memories are of watching TNG with my dad back when I was just a little kid. I have watched every episode of every series and every movie. This comic is outstanding and really has me looking forward to the movie. Don't disappoint JJ! I have faith. May you love long and prosper...and buy this app along with the previous 3!

At last, the final installment of the 'Countdown' series to the new movie hits the apps store. And what a great way to do it! I was really excited about the new movie coming out, but since I've read the series from the Apps store, I really can't wait. All this app lacks, is a bit of Star Trek soundtrack playing in the background, ( for those of us with a set of headphones). I do wonder where the faces have gone from some of the characters in the later end of the graphics. Never the less, a great App, and one that I can say was worth every penny. Anybody thinking of going to watch the new Star Trek movie NEEDS to read these Apps first. 'Countdown 1-4'.

This four-part series was amazingly thought out to give you a lead-in for the new movie. It makes some things that happen in the movie much more clear by giving you the backstory. I strongly suggest that you read Countdown before seeing the movie.

This is still worth getting even after you've seen the movie. Also, I noticed the j j abrams "bad robot" in episode 2, page 79. That's pretty interesting. 4 chapters for 3.96? Buy it. It's the only logical decision.

At first I was reluctant about the new movie. Felt it was going to be a departure from the original startrek universe. But theses comics changed my mind. Connecting it to TNG universe changed my opinnion.

It did not end the way I expected, but it certainly was exciting. It brings a satisfying end to the Next Gen storyline, and leaves the door wide open for the new film. Some rather interesting possibilities for the film are clearly hinted at. All in all I thought the four parts were fantastic, and I can not wait for the movie! Live long and prosper!

But if this is the lead into for the movie man am I disappointed. Great drawing characters are too life like backgrounds are true comic book art. I would love to bid on a few originals if they come up for private buyers.

After reading this comic series I am now totally stoked about the new Star Trek movie. This comic really sets up alot of the background needed to understand the depth of the movies' villain and even Spock. It really ties TNG, VOY, DS9 with the fresh, new JJ Abrams' TOS version. Loved it and wished there was more to read. Thank you!
