I've always been a big fan of Peter David, who's written tons of great comics for Marvel and DC (Hulk, Spider-Man, Supergirl), and some of the better Star Trek novels. This is an iPhone adaptation of one of his Star Trek comics, and it's a good read. It preserves the original coloring, which is relatively crude compared to more recent comics in the Photoshop era, but the comic captures the spirit of the characters perfectly. And they fixed a glitch that marred an earlier iPhone release of this comic.

Glad to see the 1.2 update is finally out. The story has been fixed and makes more sense now.Looking forward to more of these.

Great app until I resliEd it's missing several pages and ends up ruining the story.

This is a good comic application. The Star Trek book is old (from DC Comics), but the story is great, and I love the TOS movie costumes.The characters look like the actors too, which is nice.I really hope to see more comics from IDW on the iPhone. I'd really love to see their "Countdown" book on here. I don't go to comic book stores, and it would be nice to just be able to download it to read it.

Man....that....was...SO....GOOD!!! Well worth the .99 cents. Wonderful story, great variable interface, terrific artwork that left me panting for more!!! Come on dudes, release the next chapter already!!

The idea behind this is great, and the images all look great. The update that fixed the missing pages works beautifully, and I can't wait for the next issue to come out!

Bring on more comics, this couldn't be a better way to read them. Page slides are silky smooth, the drawing detail is very crisp. This will keep any comic fan happy for hours!
