Description:
"The Tell-Tale Heart" is a short story by Edgar Allan Poe first published in 1843. It follows an unnamed narrator who insists on his sanity after murdering an old man with a "vulture eye". "The Tell-Tale Heart" is widely considered a classic of the Gothic fiction genre and one of Poe's most famous short stories. The BeamItDown Book Collections use a very different approach to reading that is absolutely ideal for the screen of the iPhone and iPod Touch. Other reader applications display the text of the book you are reading in individual pages. The number of words that can be displayed on the screen at one time is determined by the size of the font used. This forces you to choose between reading with a very small font size or using a large font and changing pages every few seconds. The problem is that reading with a very small font induces eye strain, while frequent paging disrupts concentration. The BeamItDown iFlow Reader solves this problem by using an entirely new approach to reading. Instead of paging, the BeamItDown iFlow Reader scrolls text much like a teleprompter. Large, easy to read text scrolls by smoothly as you read. The precise scrolling speed is controlled by subtly tilting the device, which quickly becomes very intuitive and natural. You can personalize your reading experience by selecting the paper color, text color, text size, and the font that you prefer to create a truly enjoyable reading experience. Also try one of our many attractively priced book collections today. Watch a short demo video of the BeamItDown iFlow Reader on our web site at www.beamitdown.com, where you can find more of your favorite authors and books. - "iFlow Reader" is a trademark of BeamItDown Software.

Surprisingly enjoyable way of reading! By: SamiPZR - 26-Jan-2009 Version: 1.0 I've been a bit skeptical about e-book readers on the iPhone, and this one sounded even weirder with it's tilt-activated speed changes. Although it felt a bit strange at first, it actually works, and being able to read an entire story without tapping, clicking, flipping (or any other page-turning action) is great and really relaxing! I'm not sure how well it'd work for full books - battery life might be an issue, while sometimes the natural gaps of page-turning might be preferred - but overall I'm very impressed. Previously I had no intention of reading books on my iPhone, but this app has made me think again. If I pay for any e-book apps in the future (and there are some interesting titles from the same developer), it'll be those using this software. Good work!
I love it By: Gothic Lolita - Jul 19, 2009 Version: 2.1 This story is amazing, just like all of Poe's other writings. The darkness of it is both aluring and beautiful.
Great!!! By: Badgirl94 - Jul 4, 2009 Version: 2.0.1 I have always admired this story since the first time I read it in the 7th grade. And just so everyone knows, Edgar Allen Poes entire works is on sale right now for 99c. It includes this short story. So if you really, really like his work, you should get it. I'm glad I did:)

Reading with this software is brilliant By: KeanosMagicHat - 18-Feb-2009 Version: 1.0 This is my second read from beamitdown software. The first being Benjamin Button.
The tilt to scroll system is excellent. The story itself was fairly good, certainly short. Not suitable for the younger reader though given the subject matter.
Amazing By: funnyman12345 - 11-Feb-2009 Version: 1.0 Great read
