Love the ability to move the 3D pop up

This book has a really unique take on 3D, with pop-ups I can really move around. There is some canned animation at the beginning but then you can move around the images on your own. Very cool.The audiobook included with this version of Treasure Island is really fantastic, and the fact that it is synchronized with the text is really helpful. So you can read with the narration on or off, and it shows you where you are (paragraph by paragraph). I was happy to find that when you turn the narration on, it knows where you are so you can be reading (without the sound) and turn the narration on at any time.The interface is not complicated which makes using the book easy. You can also make the font size bigger to make it easier to read.If you jump forward to chapter 17 you can find the pirate ship and it's fun to shoot the canon. Though it did take me a while to realize that if you drag up and down the canon will change it's angle so you can aim right at the boat.In their coming soon they mention a number of books, so I hope to see more from them soon.

The book uses a very interesting pop-up effect which my son and daughter loved. The audiobook is very good. The book uses the 3D pop-up effect to show the original images from the book, which gives the book a very historic feel that's been freshened up. At various parts in the book they introduced objects that you can drag around the screen. The book contains a few little areas where you can actually discover interesting things. My son for instance discovered that if you drag the barrels of gun powder really fast they will explode. The 3D effect that they use in the book for most of the pictures is not the 3D like toy-story, but rather a new visualization of 2D images. What makes this 3D view interesting is that you can actually tilt the images around as you drag.I can not wait to finish the book.

Great audio - the story is really well told! I also like the original art work and how its displayed. Also, the 3d effects are cool - especially the cannon shooting the boat.
