App works wonderful making Box.net service a must-have

I've been using Box.net for two years now both for all my important personal files and some pro files I need to share or bring home to work on. I've been waiting for a looooonnng time the iPhone Box app to show up and I must say I'm very satisfied by it. It's simple, fast and smooth, like the web app.
To Box.net developpers: is it possible to compress some files like jpeg or pdf if it makes sense? Of course 3 Mo files are long to download...

I have had a free box.net account for many years, and it is amazing to be able to access that content with my new iPhone. I downloaded this app a couple of weeks ago and it has been working perfectly. I have listened to MP3s posted in my Box.net account, and can access all of the folders and nearly all of the content. It does not support Apple's m4a format files, which also cannot be played over the web, so this should be no surprise to Box.net users.
I highly recommend Box.net as a storage service and this app is a must for all box.net account holders.

I'm so pleased Box.net released this app, and will be recommending it to clients soon, but not just yet...
1. You can't share a file without clicking on it, which loads the file, which can take a while on big files.
2. When you do finally get to click Share, you can only do so to someone in the address book on your iPhone, and even then it doesn't give you a chance to choose which of their email addresses you'd like to send to.

Box.net is a great app for the iPhone. It's pretty snappy all around, and the integration of viewing lots of document types right on my phone is pretty handy. While some competitors like Dropbox do things for free that Box doesn't, Box has lots of features that Dropbox and most of the competition don't match, such as a widget for your that you can embed on a website, blog, or Facebook to share your public files.

I have had a Box.net account for over a year now and love the service. After purchasing my new iPhone 3G I was delighted to find this application on the App. Store. I can access all of my Box.net content while on the road. The program works flawlessly. Tip for Box.net users: I created a separate "iPhone" folder for files I most frequently access when traveling. This reduces scrolling through folders.
Great application, I highly recommend it.

Some people have already pointed out a few flaws and considering this App is free you can't complain too much.
However, the inability to rename or delete files in my opinion is a little annoying. Even though it's not the main benefit of using box.net, it would be nice to see those functions added in later updates.
All in all the App is stable, does what it says and helps you access a virtual drive through your iPhone or iPod Touch through wi-fi. It’s a welcome addition to my apps. I may not use it all the time, but it’s a worthwhile addition.

Clean, easy and just works. Best way to store my work files and accessn the go. Espcially handy if I need to send someone a big file and have a lousy data connection--just share on Box.

Boxnet on the iphone is awesome. Since the phone doesnt want to have its own storage, this is the best bet. Plus, since its your Box account online, its the perfect sync solution between your iphone and your computer.

This is such a great App for getting to your files on the go. Being able to send a link right from the app is great, and the ability to leave comments is an awesome way to stay connected. I would love to see the ability to edit WebDocs directly from the app in the future.

I'm on the go all the time and this app let's me view documents my coworkers are working and it updatesme with there changes. Also, the new comment feature is great for adding notes to files and starting quick discussions.
