This is just absolutely awesome! I have to enter information on my clients such as progress, phone calls, etc. into a database, so this app allows me to track information as it happens and store under my clients contact information. I just love this . . . track info as it relates to my contact address book!!! WoW!! If it only allowed you to speak to text (like the reCall app) it would be bananas!!!! LoL!

The idea behind this app is so usefull and natural that it makes you wonder why this functionality is not built into the iPhone contacts application (or for that matter any other phones contact application). The app does a great job in integrating with the iPhone's address book - you can just choose a contact from the address book and start adding notes for that contact. It took me only a couple of taps to make a note of a restraunts one of my big customers mentioned he liked (i try to keep track of the likes / dislikes of my customers - very important when you are in sales). 5 stars from me - well worth the money!

contacts journal is an awesome app for keeping track of those little but significant things. when i look at business cards, i'm always scratching my head as to who this person was, and what did i talk to her or him about. and i'm forever forgeting details of people's lives! now i don't have to worry! i love the simple interface, and the fact that i can use it for personal and professional contacts. THANKS for an amazing app!

This program marries your contact database with a notebook to make a terrific, useful program that will record those important notes or memories and keep them safe from prying eyes with password protection. I misunderstood a feature and the developer got back to me imediately and explained it and also promised a backup feature in future updates. Contact Journal deserves the 5 star rating and is worth the price.

This app fills a unique niche that I have found to be extraordinarily helpful. Whether friends or colleagues, it is good to have notes of previous conversations. This app simplifies the process by making it easy to keep logs associated with a particular contact. I find this to be infinitely more useful than keeping this kind of information elsewhere. Not only is it helpful to easily review a previous discussion before your next, but using this app got me more into the habit of making notes after speaking with someone, especially since it's so convenient. I really do use it regularly and it really has helped me foster very effective communication and follow-up. Being able to dial/text/email the current contact from within the app is nice. While I use other apps for appointments and action items, I like the to-do feature here for reminding me of such things as bringing a book or CD to someone next time I see them. This app fills a unique need and compliments my other apps perfectly. Thanks to the developer!

It's great for managing logs or journals for individual contacts. I can view logs of calls, emails, meetings, notes or whatever I want to enter, all linked to any particular contact without cluttering the notes field in iPhone Contacts. I'm looking forward to an update that will add categories or grouping of some sort. (I've heard that's in the works.) That would be even better for keeping track of contact activities related to a particular project or business, or personal things. Support is very responsive and the price is great. It's two dollars and ninety-nine cents. $2.99 and I'm better organized with contact records I can enter just about anytime, anywhere.

Why this was not part of Apples initial System I have no idea-- to be able to link to- do's and logs of meetings/ phone calls with you're contacts is probably the most fundamental task in business/family/social relationships that one does. This is the most classic "KISS" ( keep it simple stupied) application I have found and use -- at least once an hour!!! To be free of dragging a laptop or notepad to every phone call/ meeting/conversation is just great - the developer is presently working on ability to back up and e-mail tasks to the responsible parties -- than it will he the PERFECT app almost there now---

Developer contacted me and explained it is fully integrated. Changes made in contact journal will be reflected in adddress book vice versa. A FAQ or tutorial on their web site would be great. "Great idea. HOWEVER, the description is misleading. It is NOT "fully integrated". You need to add contacts one by one. That means the contacts may not be synced with Contacts. Developer needs to explain how they sync. Please explain."

I am a Shaklee Distributor and this app let's me keep up with all my contacts and their information. I keep logs of new products they want to try and when I sen them newsletters. It is absolutely perfect for anyone who needs to look back at what they hvr done or given a customer or prospect before contcting them again. This is a very efficiently designed app for the business pro or the casual well organized person. A+!

i began by using this mostly for my professional contacts, but am also branching into personal contacts. very well-made app, the idea is very useful, and the more I use it, the more I realize what I was missing. This app has really grown on me! And customer support was excellent.

I do deliveries to multiple clients in my area. I love the fact that I can schedule my deliveries and keep a journal of my clients. Great for business and personal use.
