Description:
Turn your iPhone/iPod into a dictaphone or recorder? All you need is Easy Recorder! Run the application, tap the “Record” button, the recording starts. Tap “Done” or “Abort” to end the mission. Edit recordings: write notes for them, sync with WiFi network for downloading to computer, delete the unwanted ones, check out details or rename.

To get the recording onto your computer:
Just pick one of your recordings, and then tap on the "Sync" button on the upper left corner. Choose "Start" to upload it to the web server.
In the end you get a HTTP address, such as "http://192.168.1.8:49187" You can type in the address to your PC internet browser to download it onto your PC.

I've had nothing but great results. I have an iPod Touch with the new earphones that have mic on them.
The recording is easy as can be! It provideds three levels of quailty. It allows you to name the recording if you like. I also like that I can delete just one recording or all the recordings at once.
The Sync part works just fine. I would prefer that when I sync it doesn't create a new address each time IP.../5786xxxx on the same network.
My wish list would be to email the recordings as an attachement. :)

I've not tried any dictaphones that cost, but i dont see how they could be much better! Really easy to use and quality is great.

I use this app every month to record meetings that I am responsible for transcribing into minutes! This, thus far, has proven WONDERFUL! I learned that if you put the phone on "airplane mode", phone calls will not interrupt recordings. It does what it says it will do and for 99 cents... you can't beat that price!

I got this app because I wanted to record songs that I have written for my guitar, and it is good that you can pause the recording so I didn't have to play my guitar at my best but went I tried to delete a recording, it was still there when I next went on to the recording menu.

Works pretty well, but can crash and lose your recordings

For short clips this is great. For a 2 minute, high-quality recording, the builtin webserver crashed when I tried to sync it, and deleted the files (they weren't there when I relaunched). Kind of a bummer.

Clean interface, easy to use...
But the built-in web-service crashed and (apparently) deleted all the recordings.
