HAD to write a review as there aren't many and the one that is there is... rediculous. I almost didn't give it a shot because of that.. This app works wonderfully and does exactly what it says it does. The only change I thought would be nice is if you could just add a photo from your library instead of having to use an url for the pic (easy enough tho, just upload to flickr for free and use that if you don't have space on a server).
Ideally, this functionality would be built in to the iPhone OS so you wouldn't have to launch the app first to insert it into an email, but if you're looking for something infinitely better than the text only iPhone signature option, this is best I've seen. Very cool buttons for social network sites, nice formatting options for the text, etc.. Looks totally pro!

Beautifully designed app that fills a necessary function on the iPhone.

This app fills a necessary function on the iPhone -- specifically, allowing you to have up to 6 different signatures for outgoing emails. Natively, the iPhone's default signature is simply "Sent from my iPhone." Although you can change it, if you have more than one email account, odds are that one signature is not going to work for all emails. For me, I need a minimum of two -- one for personal emails, and one for business emails. I can't use a personal signature for business emails, and using a business signature for personal emails just looks weird. Enter Signature. While there are a couple other apps in the App Store that perform similar functions, in my opinion none of them do it with such a professional and easy to use GUI. You launch Signature, and you're greeted by the in-app tutorial, which you can launch at any time by pressing the "info" button. You can then configure up to six different signatures, each listed by name and icon. For the actual signature itself, you are given three fields: (1) a photo, (2) text next to the photo, and (3) text under the photo. You can use any combination of the three fields to create your custom signature. They also let you add "hotlinks" to the bottom of your signature. So, for example, if you want to include a link to your Facebook page in your signature, you can add a hotlink which puts a little Facebook icon under your signature that, when clicked, takes the person directly to your Facebook page. The one thing that I wanted to see added was the ability to change the font size for your signature. I emailed the developer, and received a *very* quick response stating that the ability to change the font size was a feature they planned to add to the next release. In sum, Signature fills a very necessary function on the iPhone, and does it well. Highly recommended.

I have an iPod Touch and tried to purchase this app. I received an error message that the app required a microphone and therefore wasn't compatible with the iTouch. I emailed IdeasUnplugged and within less than a day they had emailed me, fixed the problem, and emailed me a promo code for the app. What great customer service! I've been using the app and it definitely works as advertised. I'm very pleased with Signature and IdeasUnplugged.

This app has great integration with the built in e-mail on the iphone. You can set up your signatures in advance for any number of different types and then just insert them. The customization features are great, and you can even include photos. Really much more complete then I would have expected, and for those people that really need professional looking e-mail signatures, this is likely to suit your needs well.

It takes some work, and it took me awhile but the more i worked on this, the more the rating went up. This product is great, i synced the sigs here with my home PC so now my sigs are universal no matter where i sent from, i created 3 different sigs for all occasions and synced them up with thunderbird and even got it working with unicode. I hope to see more features added and more support from the community, the low rating might be people who haven't spent enough time using the product.

First ill say that YES you do have to open the app for the signature BUT it opens fast and after using it a couple of times you will see its simple to do this "extra" step. Apple is the one who limits certain things you can do with email apps.
Bottom line is this app is well done and easy to set-up. It walks you through each step & lets you check the links you add right there. And of course it makes a really nice signature that gets noticed.
I give it a 5 instead of a 4 because too many gave it 1 or 2 stars and thats an unfair rating for such a nice app.

This is pretty good for business application where you can add a custom signature to all your emails. Pretty easy to setup and easy to use. Only complain I have is that I have to use this app to compose an email all the time and cannot attach the signature to replies and forwards. There might be a way to do it but I am not aware of it. Have been using this for a while before I decided to write a review for the same and I would totally recommend the pro version for the price. It pays for itself...
EDIT: The developer sent me the link to explain how to attach signatures to replies and forwards... wtg dev and thanks for the quick feedback... now this is a 5+ app...

Fairly Good Application that May Be Getting Better

I've noted the proposed changes for the next version -- all of which would address the issues I have with the current version.
The result looks very good when viewed in the iPhone mail or in Mac's mail program. However, in Outlook, there is no space between the right edge of the picture and the beginning of the text and the text defaults to Times Roman, and each of the icons contains a blue box indicating the icon is clickable -- the result is not good. These are all simple html issues that should be easily addressed, unless Outlook is too out of sync with html.

I have customized my signatures on my iPhone to duplicate my work signatures. I have actually customized four different signatures to coincide with four different email addresses. It works like a charm, I love it . But I'm only giving it four stars because:1. I'd like to be able to set up a particular signature block to coincide with a particular email address and not have to go back in to the signature app to retrieve one.2. I'd like to be able to use different font sizes within the pre-configured boxes.But don't let the above deter anyone from buying this app. Even the way it is right now, this would be the first app I'd buy. Now if they could make something like this for text messages, that would be awesome.

Good, a few missing features and kinda expensive but does what it says.

This is a nice little application with a simple idea of adding customized signatures to email and websites. The signatures can be customized and changed to meet the needs of each type of message. You can have up to six different signatures. The basics of the app is that you go in and press the > button for each of the types of signatures (you can change the name / type of signature) and create you own signature for each one. Then the button will be highlighted and you can just tap that button to add in that signature to the email or website -- it automatically opens the correct location and starts the composition.
The customization of the signature is quite good, you can do quite a bit and each one has two different zones. So you can put your name in bold and 14 point font in one zone, and then your address in 12 point normal for the next zone. This is nice and works well; it would be better if you could have only one zone and change the text as you want for each word; as it is the entire formatting occurs for the entire zone. It isn't elegant but it works. Each signature can also have an image; this is nice for business signatures because you can also make that image a link to any website you want. NOTE, make sure you put the http:// before the image if pulling from a website and before the link because the app doesn't check for this.
I would have liked to have an option to create a vCard and attach that; but no go. To me, this is a big mistake, maybe in future releases.
NOTE: This has been identified as the way the OS handles access to the email accounts; there is little that the developer can do about this issue, but here is the issue.
Another thing that is a problem is the email signatures. If you are like me and have a few different email accounts for different things, you want to be able to press the button on the email signature you want and it opens an email *FOR THAT ACCOUNT* not the last one used. This is another big drawback, it is way too easy to accidentally send an email via the wrong account.
There is another feature called "HotLinks" that will automatically determine if you are on a website (given by parameters by you) and add your signature to the input field. Sounds good, but in reality I can't see using this at all. It could be OK, but it isn't for me. I don't use the facebook website to enter things, I use the Facebook application.
Overall I like the application, I think it has great potential but it needs a little more. If they could fix the two major drawbacks listed above, I would give this app a slam dunk 5/5 but as it stands now, I can't do that. The other big drawback I found is the $4.99 price point. I can't see many people wanting to pay $5 for a signature app; maybe $1.99 or even better $0.99

Terrific! Would be good to be able to select whether to align my logo to the left or right, and likewise text, but that's a small niggle. Also, it would be handy to be able to apply bold or italic to individual lines of text rather than just the entire field. Otherwise, it's perfect.Maybe the creators will think about the above points in a future update?All in all though, fantastic. And good value too.

Don't worry about bad reviews. This application works incredibly well. I created 6 awesome signatures and exported them to my iMac's Mail program without any problems.Thanks to the developers 
