Track your time by clocking in and out at the present time, by picking a time for clocking in and out (in the past or the future), or from the job details screen by manually entering new time worked entries. See a running timer for each job you are clocked into, including how much money you are earning. Make notes on time worked entries to remind you what you did during that time. Clock in and out as many times as you want per day and HoursTracker will do the math for you.
Track your earnings by entering an hourly rate for each job and then optionally changing it for any block of time worked. The review hours screen will show you time worked and money earned by calendar day, week or month.
Track your pay on the Money tab by entering pay period information about your jobs and letting HoursTracker total up your hours by pay period. HoursTracker will show you list of upcoming paychecks from each job and how much to expect given the hours tracked so far. Estimate your net pay by entering a withholding percentage and even a flat-rate deduction to apply once when the pay period ends.
Export your hours and earnings via e-mail either as a friendly summary or a computer-friendly CSV data format. You choose which format you want in the e-mail body and/or an attachment. Use the export to back up your data, to e-mail yourself a report, or to do more sophisticated calculations in your favorite spreadsheet software.

Touching a job brings up a menu with options for clocking in or out and cleaning up old data by date. Touching the Clock In button starts a timer for that job and HoursTracker begins displaying details about the time being tracked. HoursTracker will keep track of time worked and money made while Clocked In, even while you use other applications, talk on the phone, even turn your phone off.
Information about jobs (e.g. the name, the hourly rate, time worked) can be edited at any time by touching the arrow next to the job name. You can also delete or edit time worked (change the start/end times, the effective hourly rate, or add a comment) and add time worked in the past or even in the future.

I've been using Hours Tracker for the past few months. It's made my life much easier! Thank you! The update is wonderful .... one client needs hours/minutes format and the conversion was taking time lots of time to manually convert .... Thanks for the added feature. I also appreciate the DB backup :-) Great app .... great work! I look forward to more! If you're looking for an easy way to track hours and prepare invoices for one or multiple clients .... get this app!
Awesome Time Tracking Application!

This is best time tracking application I have ever used! It features an easy to use interface that professionals or anyone that needs to track time and jobs on the go will love! Most importantly it can track multiple jobs at the same time and maintain time even when the application is not running. I use it every day to track client phone calls and on site consultations in my business. Best of all you can always adjust the time of a job or enter the time data manually which is a great feature. The export to email feature is awesome as it allows a printable record of all time and jobs worked. I understand that in an upcomming release that the application will allow export by specific job which will be an excellent feature for people who need to fast track an invoice to a client or customer without having to re-enter the data in another program. The application is completely stable and works as claimed on my iPhone 3GS. In future releases, I would like to see the ability to add a sales tax rate to the time data so that the export to email feature by job could serve as a complete invoice to the customer. Also, I would personally like to see a sync feature added that could be used to backup the time and job data in case the phone is lost or damaged. Overall I would rate this a FIVE STAR application and would highly recommend it to anyone who needs to track time and job information! A painless way of tracking hours

Although I don't bill my time (I'm salaried) I need to track hours of activity on my employer's electronic "timecard" database so that we can better track where our efforts are being spent.
I usually do this at the end of the week and it gets pretty foggy where I really spent my time on a day-by-day basis. Now I can easily jump between projects all day long, and easily track my hours.
HoursTracker is a clean interface that lets me "clock in" and "clock out" between projects, summing up my daily hours in a painless daily, weekly or monthly summary!
Hours are reported in decimal hours as opposed to clock hours, so I have to convert the decimal to minutes for my time card, but otherwise, no quibbles...

If you think your employer is cheating you in your time sheet, this is an app for that!This app makes it easier to keep track of your precious time. All you need is one tap. It has the time of when you clock in and out and of course the total hours worked. I love this! Although, it'd be better if you have an option to add an overtime rate when you exceed a specific total working hours. I had a bit of a confusion about fractional hours vs hrs:mins but thanks to Mr. Ribas for explaining it to me.Well worth my $2.99!!

I use HoursTracker instead of writing myself notes, carrying a daytimer, or relying on memory. It is fast and easy to use, and it has enough flexiblity to correct times when I forget to "clock out". It would be even better if it had a means to label the task--that would help me organize my billing on quickbooks. Keep up the good work!

I really like this app and also use it to keep notes of future work shifts and calculate in advance how much I'll make in the month. One suggestion would be to allow user defined categories within each job. For example, when I'm doing a software programming job for a client, the client wants a breakdown of hours spent programming, hours spent emailing, hours spent Reading manuals, etc. Within a job, I'd like to be able to add hours within each of these categories so that at the end of the job I know how long was spent on each part of the job, as a total of all hours doesn't tell me anything

This app is great! Works perfectly for what I need. Wish there was a way to add a day of comp time/vacation/holiday pay. The only work around I have come up with is logging a day of that many hours worked & adding a comment that it is comp/vacation/holiday pay & not actual time worked. That is my only wish for this app.... Otherwise it is perfect!!! Had already paid more $ for a different app previously that didn't do as much! Well worth the $ so I don't have the headache of keeping up with my hours on paper!! If ur looking for an app to track ur hours for work, go get this app now!

This app is a lifesaver. I recently had to switch from a salary office job in silicon valley to an hourly remote working situation in Detroit. This requires me to track and log all of my hours. I have to say, this app has made life incredibly simple for me and has saved me loads of work. Instead of using pen and paper to write out my time and a description of what I am doing, compiling it into a spreadsheet with all of the calculations of my hourly pay, saving the file and sending it as an email attachment; all I have to do is clock in and out at whatever time, add a description, and use the absolutely awesome export and email feature to send the user-friendly CSV file to my boss at the end of each week. He appreciates it as well because it saves him work also. I cannot recommend this app enough. It is more than worth the price for the time saved and the accuracy and convenience provided.

first off, i want to let you know that this app. is awesome!!! i use it every day. could you add a function that would allow us to compute over time for shifts over 8 hours a day. Usually figured out at time-and-a-half. and add a function to be able to log in a holliday pay for the days that are paid for holliday. after you do that, there will BE NO BETTER APP like this out there. please message me and let me know if you can do this. thank you for a great app...i look forward to the upgrades.

Would love to be able to setup a way to have flat rate amount added to each pay period. Sort of opposite of how you do the flat rate deduction. Would work if you could even just make the deduction amount to be able to be a negative amount. On one of my jobs I get paid by hours for some work and salary for other. Want to be able to track hours spent at both and have total pay be right. As app is now I have to at the end of the pay period see how many hours I put in on salary work manual figure rate per hour and then edit pay rate in app to make it right total. Would love to just set pay rate for that time at zero and have flat rate added to check.And just as if not needed more. PLEASE add the ability to track miles and to set the rate per mile per job.
Pretty good time keeping app

I like this app because I can keep different pay rates separate for different jobs. I use it at my part time job because I do two different jobs at different rates of pay. And yes, they trust me to keep my hours. This helps me keep it more accurate. I had purchased another "time clock" app, that was translated from Japanese, which I liked better ( just for the timeclock!) but they're having some difficulties porting it over to English. All in all I think this is a solid timekeeping app. We'll see how I feel in a couple of weeks and need to report my time!
Great app needs total hours for time period

I love this app but it needs to be able to total all hours for time period. When i send my time in I have to add all my time and type it in when I email it. Also I would like the ability to take the references of money out of the export. I still want the money info for my records but when I turn in my time it is to someone that doesn't need to know how much I make so I have to delete money references out of the email.Those are the only things I need for a perfect 5

I love everything about this application! This application is easy to use and if you have any problems help is only an e-mail away. It is great for tracking time, money earned and has the ability to comment on each job. It offers real-time tracking or you can enter your time manually. Exporting had me stumped for a bit, but with the help of the great support offered, I was able to export with no problems. Thanks for all the great support! Looking forward to any updates that help make your application one of the best!

This app has pretty much everything I need when it comes to keeping track of the hours I work. However, I was wondering if you could implement a feature where you punch in and out for breaks separately from the normal work hours. You see, I (like almost everyone else) have to punch in and out for both my paid breaks and my unpaid lunches. I think it'd be awesome if I could see my total hours for the day/week as well as the times of the day when I took my breaks and lunches, and then see the difference subtracted from the total time. Aside from that, this app is a definite must-have for those looking for a little organization. Well worth the $0.99. Keep it up!!
