Business owners, you can view QuickBooks Enterprise, Premier or Pro data on your iPhone. View all customer contact AND transaction information on the road. See the latest checking, A/R and A/P balances with full drill down.
[Note: Works only with US versions of QuickBooks 2006 or later, and not with Mac, SimpleStart or QBOnline. This is a Viewer only; uploading your QuickBooks desktop data requires you to install 'OpServer' on your PC to extract data from your QuickBooks company file, convert to iPhone format, and upload to your iPhone via a secure Web connection. $4.99/mo Subscription required].
The Viewer toolbar has 5 icons: Accounts, Customers, Vendors, Reports, and Alerts.
1. ACCOUNTS
* Single screen for Account Balances, and MTD/QTD/YTD figures for Income, COGS, Expenses, Estimates, Sales Orders and Purchase Orders – any account in your Chart of Accounts (you choose).
> Drill down to Transaction Register, and drill further down to complete transaction details.
> Drill down to Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. View customers and vendors by bucket: Total, 0-30, 31-60, 61-90, or 90+. Drill further down to the Invoice or Bill.
> Drill down to lists of Invoices, Bills, Estimates, Sales Orders and Purchase Orders. Drill further down to the instrument itself.
2. CUSTOMERS
View Customer name, contact name, address, phone, email and job. View all transactions, and drill down to the instrument. Click on Phone to make a call; click on email to send email.
3. VENDORS
View Vendor name, contact name, address, phone and email. View all transactions, and drill down to the instrument. Click on Phone to make a call; click on email to send email.
4. REPORTS
* Balance Sheet.
* Profit and Loss (Month to Date)
* Profit and Loss (Fiscal Quarter to Date)
* Profit and Loss (Fiscal Year to Date)
Drill down to selected Accounts (Bank, AR, AP and Credit cards in Balance Sheet; All accounts in P&L). Drill down to the Register or List of transactions; drill further down to the instrument, and where applicable, to the Item Details.
5. ALERTS
Every time someone in your office receives Payment, makes a Deposit, cuts a Check, creates an Estimate or PO, enters a Sales Order or Invoice, or produces a Journal Entry, you will automatically get an Alert as per filters you set. The Alerts page lists all these Alerts. Drill down to the instrument.
This Viewer enables you to READ, but not modify. It requires data to be STREAMED to it by OpCenter Server (OpServer). OpServer works with QuickBooks Windows Pro, Premier or Enterprise; 2006 or later, but not QuickBooks Online. US Editions only [i.e. Not compatible with MAC or non-US Editions].
THE DATA IS CONTINUOUSLY STREAMED FROM OUR SERVERS.
THERE ARE TWO OPTIONS:
1. SAMPLE DATA: Hosted on our Live Server. You can use this data to understand how the software works. This account automatically closes in 30 days.
2. YOUR OWN COMPANY DATA: IF you would like to see data from your office QuickBooks on your iPhone/iPod, you will need to install our proprietary OpServer on your desktop to sync your Desktop QuickBooks with your iPhone.

Instructions are instantly emailed when you register from your iPhone or iPod. Please use a valid email address! If you do not receive an email within 60 seconds, check your spam folder. Else uninstall and reinstall OpCenter on your iPhone, and use the correct email.

This app and this developer deserve a ton of credit. I had installed the app several weeks ago and due to a credit card error (mine) the system stopped working. I assumed the program was bad- after all Quickbooks is a monster program with a zillion quirks- and stopped using OpCenter. Well, the developer CALLED ME to ask why I had stopped using the program. I told him, and he spent the better part of an hour walking me through fixing the system and reinstalling the software. Now itcworks flawlessly and I understand that there are some amazing new functions (accepting checks, adding new customers) coming.
Also for those of you who think it's too expensive- seriously you need to be using Excel to handle your finances. Quickbooks is very expensive, support with Intuit is $39.95 per month, and I paid $300 for a software program that does commissions. OpCenter is $4.99 and I have already told them it should be $9.95 or more. So stop whinging about the price. This software is the best I have seen on iPhone. If you have Quickbooks and you run a business and you'd like to be able to see at a glance the financials you need then $4.99 is a STEAL. If you are seeking a .99 app then you are clearly not really a QB user.
Finally I cannot say enough about Mr. Singh at OpCenter- the service was professional and he genuinely cared about making the system work for me. Great job. I would buy anything I needed from this gentleman.

For anyone who runs a good buisness and uses quickbooks knows that it can be real time consuming and cause you to never leave the office. After spending hours and days researching and trying products online that could help me symplify my buisness I came accross this product OpCenter that allows you to monitor your quickbooks on the road or anywhere you may be. I can lookup past estimates I have made, check my account recievable, or even monitor to see if my book person is doing their job. The customer service was the best I have ever experience since I started my own buisness in 1999. I would RECOMMEND this company to anyone who has their own buisness.

Im a business owner that needs to see my financial data when I am out selling. This app tells me all my financial info with alerts of any changes. OpCenter allows me to see account balances, check registers, AR, AP, etc. Its really easy to use and powerful. All that and its only v1.0, I expect (and hope) theyll be adding even more functionality. I like to see more reports, for instance. Even the ability to create invoices and estimates I can email to my customers from the phone. I give it 4.5 stars out of 5, only because the subscription fee is a bit pricey.

Everything works great and it's very easy to setup. One thing I would like to see added or changed would be the due dates for invoices and bills instead of the date that it was billed. Also the ability to view the list of inventory would put this app over the top.
