This app is really great, because i got an app that could save web pages, but not PDF files. Organizing the files you upload is really easy, and you can move files into folders by copying/pasting them. I have one request though, and it's about the web browser. Every time you go into the browser, it loads the homepage(google) even if you had been to a site, and just closed the browser to check a file. If this can be fixed this app would be perfect for me. Besides this, a really big thanks to the developers. Very nice utility app to have!

In my line of work, I need to carry quite a few technical manuals, as well as a few manuals for the test equipment that I use on an occasional basis. So far I have been very pleased with the program, downloading 1000+ page manuals in seconds. I'm giving it five stars because it does what it said it would do, plus you can't beat the price. I would like to see the abliity to do searches on the text.

The problem with password prompt has been resolved in this version. This program now works as advertised. The developer provided very prompt response to my emails and in releasing its latest version to fix the aforementioned problem. However, it took Apple close to a week to release it onto itunes. This is not the built-in PDF viewer that iphone provides. I like the zoom-in feature, it allows you to zoom-in to any arbitrary level. The built-in reader only allows you to zoom-in up to a certain limited range.

Good App but still have a small issue ...

I like this app, and it actually has a very decent price. I really like to read my Pfd book on my ipod-touch; it is very convenient and portable while I am on bed or on train. However, I have problem while scrolling pages up or down, the page keep moving around (as hardly I can move I finger straight up or down.), I am happy with the function call: “ Lock scale and rotation “ that’s very neat, but if the developer could work on the scrolling function I would certainly give this 5 stars. Since you already have the ability to lock the rotation and scale, should there be a function to lock the movement left and right, so the page can move up or down smoothly. Or second thought, maybe multi-touch function can be applied in this case, as I use my 2 fingers to scroll the page up or down. A book lover.

I wanted to upload some PDFs onto my iPhone and this application filled that need. It works well with larger files and adding documents via WiFi is simple and intuitive. At 99 cents, he price is right. Paying anything more for a PDF reader (something available on your computer for free) is ridiculous.The only things keeping me from giving this five stars:- I think there is a bug when no bookmarks are saved. Instead of loading a page which indicates there are no bookmarks, the app crashes.- The interface could use a little polish. It is functional, but a few tweaks could make it really stand out.Otherwise, it's a great app. Works well. Worth the money. 

Program works fairly well, I like the way you can upload files. Would not be perfect for everyone as it depends on how your PC can access your wireless network and the router could get in the way but works fine for me on the two wireless networks we have.
PDF viewer works well, but could really do with an option to jump to the top of the page when you page forward or back. Appart from that is quite a good application.

Am I expecting too much or is this application slow and cumbersome? Very slow with a State Gov. review but good with a 6 page local pdf converted excel document. I give it 4 stars because the latter is my main use. Definitely better than the emailed PDF I have been using. Thanks.I've been using it for a couple of weeks now and am finding it good to work with. I wish it would retain my high res. preference on power down.

An excellent reader but it crashes when you view bookmarks when you have none. A minor nuisance. Also the pinch and stretch is a bit too loose. It's hard to adjust the page to correct length. It's needs to be a tad less loose. For lack of a better word. Would also be nice when you save a bookmark it saves the scale of the page. Constantly having to pinch the page everytime I come back to it to get it to fit screen is a tad annoying. Other then that it's a great reader. Maybe also adding a font changer so font is easier to see would be nice. Thanks.

The app has improved folder management and viewing. The viewer needs to be smoother when the image is moved around, and you should be able to make quarter turns of the image in addition to 180• flips. It's fairly useful now and certainly worth the current price.Update:The developer responded to my complaints with an emailed web page URL. These additional instructions helped somewhat. The app is the server. Only after the app is running in server mode do you enter the specified URL in your computer's browser. You'll then get a page with which you can browse for and upload pdf docs from your computer. Having done that you'll find your docs on the app. The apps' file viewer is not great as noted by other reviewers. There is also plenty of room for other Improvements, some of which are apparently on the way. I followed instructions after installing app on iphone Safari and IE return error messages. I assume there is some server software that should allow access to files on my computer via wifi. This pdf file utility does not make setup clear and therefor does not work for me and others, evidently.

Ive read many bad reviews for this app but it worked great for me. The only beef I have with it is that you cannot scroll through the document pages, you have to click >>| button to get to the next page and likewise the |<< button to go back to previous page. This is a small gripe but having to hit the buttons is counter intuitive on a device such as the iphone or itouch where you normally flick or drag to scroll. I am very happy to be able to read pdf docs on my touch and am a little confused as to why this isnt possible out of the box on these devices. The fact that you cannot add pdf files to your device through Apple's overly cumbersome sync architecture is certainly not the fault of the apps developer. I think the solution this app uses is elegant and easy. I hope development continues, this could be an absolutely "necessary" app for idevices.

This APP works just fine. I think some of the terminology in the instructions may be to blame for some people not being able to get it to work. The Server button is really the WiFi icon in the lower left area of the apps "PDF Documents" screen on the iPhone. Touching this icon will display the IP address of the Iphone on the WiFi network. Put this address in a browser window on the computer containing the PDF file to be uploaded (copied) to the iPhone. Both machines must be on the same WiFi network. Browse to the PDF file to be copied to the Iphone and hit submit.

It does what it's supposed to do...

I read the other reviews for the latest version and can't really confirm them. I think PDF Reader Pro is almost everything you could expected out of an 99 cents app.
First of all the webbrowser based upload of PDFs to the device works great. I have some apps which require you to install real software first before you can sync documents so this feature makes it much easier and accessible. The app itself has one strong feature that can set it aside from other PDF readers: bookmarks. I tried it on a 150 pages eBook without any problems at all. If performance still makes reading a document difficult you can switch to a lower resolution engine that speeds things up significantly and allows fluent reading of a whole page without reloads. The "lock zoom and view-mode" option also comes in very handy.
There are some things to improve however: When reaching the end of a page there is a small icon appearing to notify the user about that. The blue color seemed a little strange to me because it doesn't fit in with the rest of the applications design (basically black and white) - which then again also go great with iPhone and iPod touch. Next to that I would really enjoy a small feature to post basic notes to interesting passages or pages. This is a pro feature I think, so it would add well to the name of the app. Maybe the author can implement some changes here in the next release. I would be really happy about that.
All in all PDF Reader Pro is one of the best apps for reading big PDF text documents (a lot of pages / not necessarily a lot of pics) in the App Store so far and worth the buck you'll be spending on it.

At first I was confused about getting the pdf uploaded, but it is really simple. Input the URL that the app gives you into the address line in safari, submit the document and then touch the reload button (it looks like a 3/4 circle in the upper left hand corner of your iPhone or itouch) and the document will transfer. Worked everytime I did it. To delete a doc just hit edit and then the red minus sign of the one you want to remove. I would like to see landscape mode activated by turning the itouch and a bit more control over the magnification, but all in all a very useful app! Good job!

No other apps as good as this one

A great app to finally read the many things I have on my computer that are in pdf format. It's very easy to connect to the iphone using your computer and takes seconds to transfer. Only problem being that you can't (or I haven't found a way) transfer multiple files. Not a big problem though!! Good stuff

Does everything I need and more. This is the best document and PDF reader I have used. Not only it handles all kinds of file, but it opens PDF files both large and small very well. Recommeded to have it.
