Great formulas

This is amazing! I bought it for £7.99 and don't regret it even though it's cheaper now... I use fairly complicated formulas to work out various carpentry problems and tasks. I program in visual basic and I wanted to make an app to do these, but don't have a mac, so I converted the code to formulas in quickoffice and I was supprised to find how versitile it is... My only gripe is that you cannot merge cells together, so it would be nice if this was included in an update. Apart from that it is almost perfect!

Having been a former dissatisfied Docs2Go user, QuickOffice has been like a breath of fresh air. I got started with Quickoffice Files, I soon bought Quickword and Quicksheet. Unlike before, I found myself becoming very productive on my iPod Touch, I'm using it to manage finances, read PDF based reference books and to help write a screenplay. Getting my work to and from the device is easy via a web-browser based interface or by mounting it as a wi-fi based disk drive on my Mac, a feature I love. Now I've actually purchased the Quickoffice Mobile Suite to get all the functionality in one app (and save some icon space!) and I am really happy with it and I can't imagine working without it. I honestly think Apple should bundle this software with new devices - it's that good!
- There is an issue as others have mentioned with the 1.5.0 release, I trust that the developers will have a free update to remedy this as soon as possible. Don't let it deter you from gaining a great productivity tool.

I don't know why everyone is saying it is terrible because it just isn't. I admit the recent update means it crashes on iPhone, but if you reinstall it via your pc it works. (thanks for the help whoever said that first). The app let's you create word and excel documents and now you can underline in word thanks to the new update, the only other option is documents to go and I think many people will agree when I say it isn't as good, so stop moaning and be grateful there is an app like this out there!

The best, functional app ever!This app works brilliantly on the iTouch 2G, with no 'grey squares' as with the last update.What this app can do amazes me with wi-fi file transfers and emailing! All the functions of editing Word and Excel are amazing! If only Powerpoint was here!I believe this app should be on every iTouch/iPhone and is a real breakthrough in mobile functionality!The best app ever created! (so far ;)

Have been using it for 3 weeks now and have not seen the problems that others have reported. Started with v1.5.0 and am now running v1.5.1. Have only used it to edit .doc and .xls files but works great. Having it tie into iDisk is awsome, use it the most since I have it mapped on both my work computer and home computers. The WiFi disk transfer is great as well, I use that when at friends houses to transfer files on the fly. I have also used the email feature a lot and have no trouble.The program seems to have all the features that you would need to edit things on the go. I do not do major editing on my phone and have been very pleased with the program.

I am absolutely thrilled with the Quickoffice Mobile Suite. Easily a five star App due to:- Ease of use- Versatility; of course we always want more, but this App has as much or more than any other App, and with parallel desktop software that I *love*- Customer service is absolutely amazing!- Newest updates giving us editing of 2007 DOCX + XLSX files, and underlining; Thank you!For a future improvement, I would have to agree with other reviewers that a different format for opening email attachments is a biggie. There is just no way I can send them to someone else for handling.

11/3/09Again, I do not know what the troubles are with the app. Seems to work fine for me, with the 1.5 upgrade. If others are having trouble I am sure that it will get fixed. Whenever you upgrade, on pc, mac, PDA u should always back up your docs to a reliable place. For the life of me, I cannot figure out the poor reviews of this app. It has gotten better and better. I would just like to say, thanks and keep up the good work. Keep making it better! Fast, good app!

When I first got the new update, it would crash on me any time that I selected the Settings option. I deleted the app, then reinstalled it and everything started working perfectly and without a single issue. As long as you have your data backed up on a remote source, this is a very simple workaround. This is still by far the best office app out there! Have patience with this latest glitch. Everyone makes a mistake at some point, and they are already in the process of fixing the issue. Thanks guys. Good response time to addressing the issue!

I've used QuickSheet on my iPhone for some time and loved it. Now, I'm using the integrated Quickoffice Connect Mobile Suite. It's great to be able to copy text from a spreadsheet document and paste it into a text.doc document, and vice versa. I also love the ability to connect to my documents in Dropbox or on my iDisk. This gives me perfect document synchronization between my laptop and my iPhone. It's also so useful to be able to have a document emailed to me as an attachment and bring it into Quickoffice. I had no hesitation creating an account with them to acquire some of these incredibly useful integrated features.

I find the application quite amazing. It is a complete word processing and spreadsheet application that NEVER messes up my files. I can load and edit the files on my iPhone and when I open them back to my desktop, they are perfect, nothing is lost. What is most important to me is being confident that a document I spent hours creating on my PC does not loose information after I edit it on the phone. All the other applications on the iPhone don't do this. Quickoffice is all about perfect document integrity. They have been around for years and are chosen by most major phone manufactures as the on device solution, even Google choose them for the Nexus one. This company just knows how to deal with Microsoft Office files, now matter how big or complex. If you want your documents maintained and not mangled by the software when they get back to the PC, then Quickoffice is the right product for you. It's the only solution I trust and for $10 bucks, it's a steal.

Has everything you need to manage, view and edit office documents and other formats too in you device or through your computer via Wi-Fi. The new features for online accounts in google, DropBox, BoxNet, mobileme are excelent. I bought it before them and now I got a free upgrade without cost. No iPod Touch/iPhone should exists without this application.Haven´t used the email attachements but surely people who rate 1 star doesn´t always read enough and lack of common sense.

Let me start by saying this is the first (and probably only) app I have ever paid for. I started looking for apps to modify an excel spreadsheet on the fly. And this app is perfect for me. I am a dropbox user (my favorite app ever, and free), and this interacts perfectly with dropbox. I can access the spreadsheet, edit it and save it on the fly; and while doing it over the air rather than wifi is a little slower, it still meets my expectations.This app, in conjunction with dropbox has solidified my opinion that I will never need a Windows mobile or Blackberry device ever again.To put things into prespective, I'm a Network Administrator, and a heavy Windows user. In other words: Uber Geek.

Very nice seamless product. As a professional who likes to travel without my laptop, I have been waiting for an Office Suite for the iPhone and this is THE application I have been looking for. Plenty of functionality and works like a charm. The fact that they also included a nice desktop sync/doc transfer tells me they are really thinking about a seamless user experience. Looking forward to the email files and ‘mount as wireless drive’ features to ship – hopefully soon. If you have been looking for an Office product – buy this one!

The reviewers here are completely missing the point. With this App one can move, read and edit Word Excel and Powerpoint files. If you tilt the iPhone you get landscape. You can pinch the font size. It is magical. I wonder when Office will be available. Well here is it today for $ 20 in 4 Megs. Amazing. It feels like magic when the files move from the iMac to the iPhone. Sure there is a lot of work to do...I mean Microsoft charges $ 400 for Office. Now you can carry important files in your iPhone and edit them. No spelling correction? Please. You can do that later! The only change I would do is change the price to $ 95. They are giving it away and it makes us not appreciate it.

When I gave up my Windows Mobile Device I missed Office Mobile more then words can describe. This app has simply made me realize how easy things could have been. This app works flawlessly with my Windows XP. When you save the doc on your phone it saves it to your computer as well. Email is just as easy. I am very impressed. When the first iPhone came out I bragged to my friends that WM6 allows you to view, edit, copy and past (in all kinds of programs), and email all kinds of documents and has been that way for years. Well with this app (and the hopes that things will continue to get easier and more functional) I will never go back.

With recent updates and more to come this app is a great tool I use in my business. Create excel spreadsheet on my desktop send it to my ipod touch to edit inventory throughout the week then being able to email it to my boss all through my ipod touch makes business so much efficent in the 21st century. Glad the app store has an app for the business person that works so well. Tech support has been great too.

Especially if you have MobileMe. It makes for extremly easy transfer. The spreadsheets are fantastic and the ability to write, read documents is a gem. Only downfall is the lack of bringing them over from email to save them and review them. But I have yet to see anyother that is worth this price. And it was worth all $19.99. If you have the need don't hesitate to buy this program. In addition, the PDF viewer is the best. I have personally used Adobe mobile on Windows mobile and this one out does that by a long shot. I can not express enough my gratitude for this company working as hard as they did to come out with such a time saving App.

The good:A, basically, full featured word processor/excel utility is now available for the iPhone. It has every function you could need while editing docs away from your main PC. The bad:Saving and editing can take some getting used to. Don't put much time into a project before masteing the tricky UI. After that it's smooth sailing.Notes: YOU CAN TRANSFER DOCS iPhone<->PC!!! Read the description! Also, you have an iPhone, NOT a desktop computer, it has limitations, contrary to popular belief. Verdict: $12.99 is steep. I wish it had been a few $ cheaper. Only buy if you truly have a need to edit docs on the fly. Not worth $19.99 for sure.
