Vurgood Applications has created a simple way to quickly build, preview, and send a professional-looking PDF resume without hiring a professional or spending vast amounts of time formatting a document of your own! This application provides "on-the-go" ability to quickly generate (from scratch) and send out a resume from your iPhone! In this declining market/economy, it is crucial to be able to do this in order to get out your qualifications to companies ASAP.
Within miliseconds of inputting your information, Resume PRO will generate a professional-looking PDF resume that is completely customizable with whatever information you choose to include! You can input as many past job experiences as needed, as well as specific education information and activities. You can input specific skill-sets that you have obtained, and you can even include extracurricular activities if you choose. If you desire, the application allows multiple references, as well as photographs, all of which can be included in the PDF resume! Also an option exists to include a generic cover-letter if the destination company/organization requires it.
After generating the PDF, the application allows the user to PREVIEW the resume to confirm that it looks to his or her satisfaction. Then the user has the ability, with a press of a button, to send the document to an email address of your choice - the app also allows CC and BCC fields - Send it to yourself to have at your disposal, or send it directly to a company or recruiter!
Information available for input:
- Basic personal information (name, home/work phone, address, etc.)
- Work Experience (company, Job title, time worked, position, etc.)
- Education
- Skill-sets
- Extracurricular Activities
- References (name, company, title, contact number, email)

This application definitely has set the bar high. I feel that after a few tweaks and updates, this app will be on everyone's iPhone! It's been so long since I have had to write a resume, that I don't even know the standards anymore. This app has solved this problem for me, and I don't have to hire a recruiter or technical writer to make one for me.

Ok so I rarely write reviews for apps but in this case I had to. This app got me out of a jam yesterday! I needed to submit a resume to this big shot he needed it by yesterday. So It was 5 pm and I still didn't even have not even a rough draft. In desperation I downloaded this app despite some of the nasty reviews I read.... This app works like a charm yeah the template might not be as professional as we would like but for 3 bucks you can't beat it! I had tha resume ready for the big shot in like 1 hour and a half and it actually looked decent. I would like to see some improvements though like choosing different formats/templates, cover letter needs to be added, I page resume is needed as well. Other than that well worth the 3$ keep up the good job fellas and make those updates happen.

This app is a great start. Forgive me this is my first review. There are flaws in this program like crashing to much, you can only type 75 characters, and not being able to customize the cover sheet. These are all fixable but the app is solid. What made me give them four stars was the customer service. They have replied to my emails and taking into consideration my recommendation. I definitely see this app growing.

This is a great app, but there are a few things I would like added to the program. First of all, the phone number for your jobs would be helpful, perhaps a customisable field in each category? It does close on it's own occasionally. The email also sends itself as as "ResumePRO-Do Not Reply" if you send it to someone, which is pretty inconvient. That aside, this is an amazingly useful program for it's price.

With the exception of the occasional crash and memory lapse, the app is starting to develop a rather nice looking resume. I have been working in HR of over 18 years and I have seen all kinds. On my wish list was a way to add additional training that may not be appropriate for the Education section and also a section for affiliations. It would also be nice to have the ability to type more than 75 characters in the skills and responsibilities text fields. I would totally drop the ability to insert a picture (unless you are applying at a modeling agency, this is never a good idea). I am looking forward to the next update.

I have already used it to send a resume to myself, and it looks great!! I love the option to include photos as well! FYI it crashed once on me, so you might want to release a patch to fix. Other than that, this is an amazingly powerful app!!

Nice Application, you can send a quick resume if you are out of town, or send your resume all over job town if you like, to an e-mail address. First I turned my iPhone power completely off then on again, before I started doing my resume, and had no problems, this gives your iPhone more memory. The resume is also easy to edit anytime, and it is always with me, ready to be sent where ever I am.
