Not only does this application do exactly what it advertizes but Mr. Zimmermann (Zim, for short) personally addresses support queries. Within an hour of my query concerning a possible missing link between fields in my Outlook contacts and this application, Zim contacted me and within a day had the problem solved and a new Beta version sent out to me for testing. I highly recommend this application.

I wrote a review of v.1 of this app mentioning some of it's shortcomings. This most recent version addresses all of them. This is a four-star program -- great idea, nice implementation and reasonable price-point -- that gets a fifth star because its author seemingly listened to purchasers and very efficiently implimented their suggestions. That means a lot in this new AppStore world wherein apps can't be tested prior to purchase. Good work!

Works as advertised. People who rated it very low seem not to have spent more than thirty seconds learning it or else had an old release. You can customize info sent in the 'settings', you can address it from your contacts list OR manually enter the address, yes you have to select your 'from' address but only the first time you download the app and send your first vcard - it defaults to your address afterwards. It would be nice if you could send multiple contacts but otherwise is great.

vCard Mailer that Works!

I just downloaded and sent myself my own vCard and it arrived instantly. However, when I tapped on the card, it disappeared from my in-box mail, so either it just noticed the existing file and deleted itself or it strangely vanished from my in-box. Still, the reviews don’t mention this is as a problem so I’ll assume I should have had more than one cup of coffee before testing the App.
One disappointment is that it APPEARS the "actual appearance" of the vCard contains smaller text (font size) than the “dressed-up” screen shot on the App Store. Likewise, the gradient shades of the vCard color (gray-scale) are also nicer on the App Store sample than in real life. I wish the actual vCard looked as nice! Perhaps the developer should adhere to WYSIWYG or apply real world graphic improvements.
In short, it does well what no other App currently does so it will remain on-board my iPhone until something better comes along. Preferably, the developer will enhance the product.

My wife and I were at dinner the other night and I needed to send her a vCard from my iPhone to hers, but there was no way to do it. A little searching this evening brought this application up. It precisely fit the bill as I was able to send her a few cards tonight. I had read reviews regarding other similar apps and this one seemed like the one. I was right. You simply select the contact you want to send and the person you want to send it to (in your Contacts), press SEND and it's done. Receiving it on the other end is as simple as accepting it as a new or merged contact (iPhone). Great job! Can't wait for future updates.

I think some of the reviews are prior to the latest software release. With the new release, vCard Mailer works without a hitch and is simple to use. What's not to like? And the support is phenomenal...I even received an email response in the wee hours of the morning. This gets a perfect score!

Great Staff. I missed this feature since iPhone 1.0. Nice UI and Apple-Like-Easy-To-Use. Now, I like to see the feature to hide some private information when sending my vCard ... but overall buy It. It is great

It seems that the developer addressed the criticisms. You can now turn fields on and off and address your vCards directly from your address book. It also has a nice interface. This is super-useful.

Thankfully this app actually works ( having tried and failed to send a contact that had a picture with another product). Only gripe is that on my version I have to manually type the email address of the person I'm sending to - hopefully fixed in a future update. Good start

Great app - needs to support SMS vCards

Great little app - does exactly what it says, mails a vCard which should have always been in the original contacts.
Needs to support vCard by SMS - especially for Nokia/SonyEricsson - for those poor souls on the receiving end without an iPhone
