The best password program  rating of Wallet Pro (password manager)
By: portagekb - Jan 17, 2009
Version: 1.5
I used ewallet for a while but when apple updated the OS to 2.2 it lost all my data! There was no way to back it up, and six months later there is still no way to back it up. So I tried memengo and I LOVE it. At first I was a little nervous about putting my passwords online, but you can just obscure the data on anyything really sensitive (like enter the password in code or something). I have no worries about losing my data now.

Very Good Application  rating of Wallet Pro (password manager)

This is a great application. I tried Keeper and gave up after a week. The web interface for this product is simple and the synchronization between the i-phone and the web application works very well. I like the idea of having a virtual encrypted repository of information that is not tied to one computer. The ability to enter information via the web application and synchronize with the phone makes the process of populating the repository very easy. One small suggestion for the developer – it is not clear how the setup process works. Please take a few moments and provide new customers with step by step instructions regarding how to setup the application.

Solid, Very Useful, Worth It  rating of Wallet Pro (password manager)

I've tried many e-wallets (even eWallet, which as I write this doesn't have a Mac client) and most have an online counterpart as Memengo does for Wallet Pro. That was key for me. While the client is not pretty, it works very well and this is the kind of thing you use rarely - once the data is in, I just access it from my iPhone. The iPhone app is simple to use and is well designed. This is one of the few apps (likely due to its function) that I used immediately and remember to use when my wallet isn't handy. (I download so many apps sometimes when I have the perfect use for a particular one I don't remember to use it - those parking apps come to mind.) A 1/2 hour session at their client site had all my cards/memberships in it. I do wish there was a "send user name and password" to Wallet Pro button for the bookmarks bar because my work requires signing up to hundreds of web sites to review and test online software (SAS products). So you'd enter your username and password, and press a button to get the information to their client, maybe as a simple email reminder with just the site and user name in it (for security). As it stands I typically don't record this information as I'm entering it because I have an encryption scheme I use that I cannot forget. But for my credit cards and other categories, this product is tops.

Apps like this make me love my iPhone  rating of Wallet Pro (password manager)

This app is really brilliant. It's as simple as it can be and so easy to use. The developers really perfected it to the point that you don't think about how perfect it is unless you stop to think about it. The app is really only have the story though...it's the web interface that makes this so killer. Enter or retrieve your passwords from any web browser or from your device. I use it almost daily and I've never had an issue with it. You'll really wonder how other people get on without it. I'd give this app 8 stars if I could.

So many passwords, so few brain cells to remember them all!  rating of Wallet Pro (password manager)
By: mspmac - Jun 16, 2009
Version: 1.8
I love this app for the following reasons:
1) It's easy to use.
2) It's a place where you can list all your sensitive information and account phone numbers in one place and access it immediately from anywhere.
3) You can paste in a link to the login website. The next time you are checking your user name and password, click on the link and it will open the website in a new tab.
4) The IPhone app now allows you to "paste" in the user name and passwords. No more typos.
5) The web version syncs to the IPhone app, so that you can access your info on your home computer and edit from that computer as well.
6) You can use an encryption key phrase, so that no one, but you can have access to this information.
( Please note, the encryption key phrase should be a phrase that you WILL remember because the company can not retrieve or reset it if you forget it.)

Simple, secure, effective, and a useful web presence  rating of Wallet Pro (password manager)

There are those apps out there that use strong encryption like this one, but I found this one to be particularly well-made in other areas in addition to its encryption strength. I prefer simplicity when it comes to apps like these. I've seen others that are more elaborate and customizable but I've found all my needs in Wallet Pro so far. The web account is very useful for organization as well as for 1) syncing 2) printing out (I use this feature for copy&paste purpose). A no-frill, well-made app, good job.

Best password app for PC users.  rating of Wallet Pro (password manager)
By: Paraglider - Jul 1, 2009
Version: 1.8
I was looking for a password manager that would also login to web sites. I've tried SpashID, 1Password, and Wallet Pro. SpashID's presents your login info in a pop-up window (in Safari). But you still have to fat-finger your information. Lame!!! 1Password is a great program; but no support for PC users. You have to create all records on the iPhone. Torture!!! Wallet Pro is the best. Web pages are loaded in their mini-browser. You select a form field and Wallet will paste in your login information (no typing). Plus, you can sync your data with a FREE online account (PC or Apple). This makes maintenance a snap. Look for Roboform later in 2009. That will be the bomb!

Excelent password manager with web integration  rating of Wallet Pro (password manager)
By: aloepar1 - Jul 14, 2009

This app has a lot of nice things. One is the option to view your passwords on their website, and it automatically synchronizes with your phone by simply clicking “Sync”. The greatest thing this app has is the developers which are very active in their forums, answer any questions that you may have, and want to keep updating/improving the program.
I used to use 1Password, but they are charging for cut, copy and paste, and you can only do a backup if you have a mac, which is why having an online backup just makes sense, and the Memengo team is doing that.

Great utility app  rating of Wallet Pro (password manager)
By: David L, Cincinnati - Aug 6, 2009

This is great app. It does exactly what I need it to do. There are multiple preset "forms" for saving different types of password data, and an open generic "note" form if you have to save archive some private data that doesn't fit a preset. Some may complain about the cost, but the fact that you get an online account to be able to sync your data is worth it. You can then enter and retrieve from your desktop, print, and you then have an additional backup. Just being able to pull up one of my 30+ web forum logins whenever I want is worth it alone.

Superb - One of the Truly Useful Apps!  rating of Wallet Pro (password manager)
By: McQ14 - Aug 22, 2009
Version: 1.8
I can't find anything about this app that I don't like. I needed a place to store all of my dozens of passwords, account information, etc. and this does it. It is so simple to use, and the UI is intuitive. You can customize entries pretty much any way you want and there is ample room for notes in each entry for information that is non-standard. Syncing takes all of two seconds and works flawlessly.
Looking forward to the Website Backup to get more features, as it is a Beta version now. But it works well, so no complaints.
The only thing I noticed that should be corrected is in the instructions within the app itself on the iPhone. In the Syncing Instructions page, it says you can Sync from the Desktop site by going to the Sync Tab from the Main Menu and hitting the Sync Button. There is no Sync Tab or Sync Button. They do explain this in the FAQ on the website, but it needs to be fixed in the app.
Otherwise, it's perfect. Thanks!

Go for it!  rating of Wallet Pro (password manager)

Extremely flexible application that allows practically any kind of notes (pre-structured cards or "free form"), and synchronization with phones and/or Memengo's-based servers for a very user-friendly backup service.
Folder organization is intuitive, practical and easy.
One less concern knowing that your data will "be there" when needed.
After trying many different "wallets", finally one that does the job.
Very valuable.
Money well spent.

Best Wallet Application for iPod Touch & iPhone  rating of Wallet Pro (password manager)
By: Clark from SC - Jun 6, 2009
Version: 1.8
My Palm, on which I have kept all my log-in and credit card information, is dying so I have to transfer that information to another application. I checked out most of the "wallet" applications available and decided to try Memengo Wallet Pro. I am thrilled that I did. Memengo allows you to enter all the information on their web site and then sync it, using WiFi, to your iPod Touch. It syncs seamlessly and saves trying to enter all the info using the tiny iPod keypad. After entering the data, simply go to a WiFi hot spot and all your data will appear on your iPod. I do suggest naming your own wallet as Memengo has samples named "My Wallet". If you use that name your data may be hard to find after syncing.

Great, useful app  rating of Wallet Pro (password manager)

The fact that you can use this app on your phone whereever you are but have it synced to a website so you don't lose everything makes this app worth it right off the back. The UI isn't beautiful but extremely functional, which is what I want from something like this. I can add passwords from the webpage or the phone and it syncs beautifully. I had a lot to keep track of and this has helped a ton. Highly recommended.

Easy to use, reduces the amount of cards I have to carry, also good for recipes/notes  rating of Wallet Pro (password manager)
By: almost_there - Oct 22, 2009

This program is very handy. I can enter all of the lesser used cards in here (health/car insurance, shopping codes, etc) and not have to carry the card around in my wallet if I don't want to. I suggest setting up the online sync capability as soon as you get it - that way you can enter in everything initially online, and then sync from your iPhone. In this regard, you can also use it as a good secure note system - just create new entries for things you might want to remember (recipes, instructions, etc) and you will have them on the go in your iPhone.

Phenomenal  rating of Wallet Pro (password manager)

I was browsing around the apps just like I do everyday and came across this little work of art. I have been trying some of the other password apps but none of them really fit with me. Even though I try not to buy apps, I thought I would hive this one a try. I downloaded it an was greeted by a full guide that tells me how to use everything in the application before I even do anything. That right there impressed me since most others don't have anything that thorough. After reading the walkthrough for the app, I felt ready to try this out. I was instantly drawn to the simple yet thorough interface of this app. Everything is laid out very well with a plethora of options that should easily fit anyone and everyones needs. There are some great features packed in here also. One of them is a search card function that allows you search your listing and find them quickly if you have a lot of entries. You can also wirelessly sync with your account online with the click of a button and it only takes about 30 seconds and it's all backed up. There are a good amount of features that are well worth the download. Also, I want to note that I left some feedback on the website via email and was emailed back HOURS later from the memengo team thanking me for my feedback, answering my concerns, and being generally nice and professional with their response. I highly recommend this app and will continue to recommend this to friends and people in general and they have definately earned a loyal fan and customer. Way to go guys! Keep up the great work!

A great app - does exactly what it needs to  rating of Wallet Pro (password manager)

Having spent some time trying to find a decent password manager I came across Memengo Wallet. My key requirement was to have an app that was accessible from my phone which also kept an online backup/access. This app does exactly that – it allows easy management of your data in user defined folders. Additionally the user forum is regularly monitored and feedback is received from the software developer, you have a real feeling that your input is taken on board and hopefully I will see some of suggestions in a later version. Gets my recommendation!

It works, plus it syncs with a secure website for online access  rating of Wallet Pro (password manager)

Not the most flashy app, but who need that when it does the job properly. It alllows for multiple wallets and records. And the most important extra feature is it has an online companion website, no charge, which lets you access your secure data whenever you have your iphone or a browser. And lets face it, data entry is much easier on a computer than an iphone. I couldnt find another app with these key features.

Business empowering application  rating of Wallet Pro (password manager)

With everyone in the team issued with an iphone and a copy of Memengo our administrative password nightmare is being very neatly solved. All our server logins, user sFTP account details, domain info, sql server logins and tonnes more are now accessible from anywhere via the app on the phone or just a browser of course. As a result we've been able to strengthen all the passwords and expire them on a regular schedule without worrying that they'll get forgotten, or having to use a single password for everything just so everyone knows it!
On top of this, everyone can also have their own personal Wallet alongside the company one to store all their own logins, credit cards or whatever.

Perfect for my usage needs  rating of Wallet Pro (password manager)

I've been struggling to find a password/general info manager for my iPhone that actually has a reliable, intuitive, and easy sync feature. So far, I really, really enjoy Memengo. The website was extremely quick and easy to sign-up on (and free). I have a TON of different information that I wanted to get onto my iPhone, so instead of having to tediously type out all of the information on the actual iPhone app (with my sausage fingers), I was able to make each entry on the website and IMMEDIATELY sync over to my iPhone. No muss, no fuss. Also I think that it's a really wonderful thing that the password encryption is OPTIONAL. This is a small feature, but by no means a minor one, in my humble opinion. I do wish that you could create additional templates, i.e. for gym locks and other random things (it's entirely possible that you CAN do that and I just haven't discovered how to). Overall though I am very pleased and would recommend this to family and friends.

A password tool that works  rating of Wallet Pro (password manager)
By: Yuumoushin - Oct 27, 2009
Version: 1.9
There are a lot of different ways to manage passwords. While I am an iPhone user, I also really like Memengo's website, which I use frequently both from my home PC and work PC. The app on the iPhone is simple and easy to use, and I find that it syncs extremely well and fast (both ways). The only thing I'd like to see is perhaps a password generator, but that's just a personal "wish" and by no means something I hold against the program. I have tried a few of the others in the store, and this is the best one.
