Pretty neat idea, your app is different from the others - i love that this app tells me where the sun will be located all through the day, and i even went out last night to hunt for satellites - really cool idea! great job! Edit: This is amazing - I went outside this morning to see the Space Station - this app pointed me right to it, and the 3d image on the camera was dead-on as it streaked over my house - totally amazing!

I can't believe how many features are included in this app. Tracking where the constellations are in the sky is worth the price of admission alone, but being able to actually see them through my iPhone and point to them in the night sky is incredible. The fun facts are a really cool feature too; I've been sitting here clicking everything I see just to find out more. The controls are intuitive and the graphics are top notch, and I haven't even scratched the surface.I also really like the ability to see where an object like the sun was or will be at a certain date or time. I haven't played around with changing the date yet... There's just too much to play with! I'm gonna be stuck in this app for DAYS. $0.99 is a steal for this - I've seen other apps claiming to do the same thing for way more. And it has satellites and the space shuttle too? I'm awestruck. Seriously, if I could give more than 5 stars for this, I would!Very well done!

I have only used the app for 30 seconds and I am already thoroughly impressed, my jaw actually dropped... This app has got to be worth well more than $.99!!! To put it simply this app is simply outstanding! It works with your iDevice in real time as you move it around the room, feild, office anywhere, and shows you the position of many nearby stars, planets, satellites and constellations and allows you to click on individual stars and gives you the name of them and provides simple, to the point yet useful info about everything you can see and click on in the sky, ALL WHILE LOOKING AT THE ACTUAL SKY(with the phones camera), NOT A FAKE BACKDROP!( < Thats the "augmented reality" part that makes this app what it is.. AWESOME!. )You can click on planets and it can tell you, by you directing it, where a planet or the moon will be at a certain time in the sky. You also get REAL TIME COORDINATES as move the device as well as a compass that is built into the map. I am using this on an iPhone 3GS 16GB, there is some lagg but with EVERYTHING it is rendering, i am more than happy with the performance. For an iPad owner, I would imagine this applilaction would be an amazing tool! Sorry for the rant, but this app got me excited. For $.99 its a steal.

And that's just the loadscreen!!!! THEN you show me the sun, planets, constellations, and manmade objects in orbit! Wowwy wow wow!!! Very nice!Seriously though. Never thought I'd buy an educational app, because I'm quite convinced I know everything already. But this is a very slick AR demonstration. The update rate is lightning quick, the graphics are stupendous, and the facts about all them flying things are actually interesting. This is a very polished app. The load time is a little longer than my attention span, but once the overlay appears on the camera feed, it's a lot of fun. I can foresee a lot of people standing outside, night and day, waving their iPhones through the sky, confirming the location of things they know and being surprised by the things they don't. I'll be one of them.

This is the best case of AR I have seen on the appstore. The graphics are wonderful and the control is tight. The tracks that appear in the sky when you select a planet remind me of the first down marker on televised football. You can actually interact with the track by placing the center of the camera on the track. Then a small overlay pops up displaying when the planet will be at that exact location. Very far out. Its hard to explain so I suggest you experience it for yourself.Very cool! Try it out

I've had my eye on the Celestron SkyScout (MSRP $299.00) since it came out in 2006. It won all kinds of editorial awards back then. But to find this app for $298 less, I had to check it out. It does not disappoint. I don't know if it really measures up to the SkyScout. But for the money, I'm as giddy as Tickle Me Elmo.

Celeste is the best example of an augmented reality application I have seen on the app store. The accuracy and precision of the overlaid data is nothing short of amazing. Terminal 11 has set the bar incredibly high with this application.

This is exactly what I've been looking for. This app makes it so easy for me to plan photo shoots. Not to mention the graphics are pretty awesome!Can't wait to use this when Discovery launches too. Don't think just buy it!

I love that this app lets u see the constellations in the sky! the graphics are so crisp and the interface is really intuitive! definitely worth the money for the constellations alone but lots of other really neat and useful features. price will probably go up so get it soon!
