I absolutely love this app! It does everything I need, and is fully customizable. I like how you can view all your assignments in a list, or view them within the class they are due in. You can also view your assignments sorted by the day or week, which is handy and easy to switch back and forth. You can even add your own categories of assignment, which I really find useful. I also like that you can choose to customize the class grading either simple or advanced, as I have classes that are in each of those categories. The other highlight of this app is that you have a whole separate category for completed assignments, so you can still see them all together, but they are out of your way and you can focus on future assignments without having the clutter of the completed ones mixed in. I also like that when you click on an idividual class and look at the assignments, you can see them all grouped into their assigned categories, such as homework, projects, etc. This is useful since I have a class that has a lab and lecture component, and I don't get them confused but I can still enter the assignments as one class instead of one for lab and one for lecture. And my favorite feature of this app is that you can go back and edit any part at any time; the class information, class name, grading type, assignments or the grade etc. That is nice because things change, and you don't have to redo your entire entry or class just to fix one thing. This app has never crashed on me and I would give it 10 stars if I could!

I have been using this app since it pretty much came out and it still remains one of my favorite apps on my phone. There are so many ways to customize and make it work for you. There are so many views, color customization, and brand new calendar view. I literally can't complain about one thing.
I wasn't sure if I could make the switch from my planner to a homework app, but ihomework made it easy. The developer listens and takes into account what customers want. Plus the desktop version is great. I can't wait to see what comes next from ihomework! PS the ihomework website is really helpful so check it out before you complain about features -- the site explains it all

This app rocks! I don't know how I could stay organized without it. Its new calendar mode makes this app even better!I can't believe it only costs $0.99. It is easily worth $4.99.Oh, and please don't complain about the fact that there is no PC version. I am an iPhone app developer myself, and I know the Windows SDK is totally different than the Mac OS SDK. It makes sense to write a syncing desktop app for Mac OS, as the Mac and iPhone SDKs are very similar.

This is amazing! I go to high school and I sometimes forget assignments (or the pages their on) so this program cleaned up my planning really well. I think this is the best homework planner out there for a couple reasons. 1 is that it simply will sort all due assignments in order from due date or class. This is much better than competing planners where it takes almost 30 seconds just to find the assignments. Another great thing is the colors and sleekness of the app. It color codes assignments by when there due and all in all everything is flush. I think my favorite reason overall is that it puts up a little number next to the icon of how many assignments you have due. These are only a few reasons why I really love this app I have now purchased to different planners and looked at many many more that that and I am convinced this is the most user friendly and helpfull planner out there!Plus it's only a buck!(can't beat that)

Very good. Updates are frequent. An idea would be to add a percent completed feature to assignments, for large projects like papers this would be useful. Also if it isn't too complicated add a course grade option, assign grade letters as done and add point scale for each assignment as well as total for the course. Just a few ideas. Other than that, even without those additions this app is amazing. Developer takes suggestions seriously.

This was money well spent for a college student like myself. I especially love the Reminders tab, because I have to make a To-Do list everyday. It's a quick reminder on the go of what I have to do and when it's due by. My only complaint is that the reminder tab should have Push notification ability, and I should be able to type quickly in landscape mode. Other than that, I'm very happy with this application! I find no need for the desktop version though, so good thing that was free.

I have bought TONS of app and this is the only one tht I ever reviewed. It is worth the 99 cents as I use it every single day as a replacement of my notebook. A suggestion from me is to allow us to repeat a homework on a customized basis (maybe every week) so that classes that gives out homework weekly (such as high level math). In such way, I do not need to keep re inserting the same homework again and again. Perhaps the app would give us a choice as to how many the repeats we can see for different task on the to do list task (or there will be an infinite loop of math and physics). As always, the more the users have the ability to customize, the more satisfied they will be.

I tried several other apps before stumbling across this one and now I know I will never go back. Before this I was up a creek and couldn't see the light at the end of the tunnel. The other apps are actually laughable compared to this. My sister paid almost $3 for one that can't hold a candle it. I've been impressed with the speed and quality of the updates. I love being able to switch between week/day/course views so easily. I agree that I would rather set the number shown on the icon by time rather than priority, but each updated always seems to bring more improvements that we've asked for.Thanks for freeing me from my jumble of incoherent notes and ancient spiral planner!

At first, I scoffed at the idea to pay for a "homework" application... but since I've gotten this, things have been so much easier! When teachers are explaining assignments (as far as what to do, what to use, when it's due, etc) I have it all typed in by the time they're done - and, I'm not sure about other students, but I type a LOT faster than I write. With the recent updates, I know this is worth the very low price it's being offered for.
By far my favorite organizational app, ever :D.

A couple suggestions though• Task icons: be able to have little icons to enable a quick look, like for HW, you could have a piece of lined paper that changes color for when am assignment is due•Just Checking: be able to hve the app remind you by a ringtone popping up with a text box with the assignment, and you can click either done or not done •Repeating Assignments: option for repeating assignmnts•Display pictures for teachers/classes: under the classes tab, display pictures for classesThanks!! Completely awesome app. Keeps me up-to-date with my homework assignments. Few things:I agree with adding professors office hours. Would be way more helpful. AlsoPlease, please, please add a reaccuring feature. For example: I have to take an online quiz every Friday. It would be awesome if I could just click reaccuring assignment, rather than type it in for everyweek. I would live you forever if you could make these changes!!!!!

A few suggestions: 1. Have the red message indicator be from variable time length. So right now it says I have 50 things to do because I entered in things for the entire semester. It would be cool if I could just do it for the next week or few days. So if I have 3 quizzes and a hw this week it would only say 4 "messages" on the icon of the app.2. Be able to add professors without making a full contact. I don't really want to add a contact because there is very little chance I would use it. But it would be nice to add a professor, their phone number, email and office hours internally within the app.3. Add a place for office hours as previously mentioned.Awesome app though. Much better than spending money every semester/year not to mention saving the paper.

Well... I never, and I repeat, never write reviews for any application/music/song/etc that I have purchased (and I've purchaced a lot). But I got to say, this is such a great application. It has helped me soo much and I use it every single day. It would be great if it showed up much you completed and also an option to show what you've completed for each subject. Other then that, thanks for such a great application!

Thank you!! It organizies my courses and homework just perfect. I cannot imagine college without this app now. A steal at .99 cents! Other reviews may be inaccurate in not giving proper credit to this app. Email instructor with the touch of the screen with ?'s!! I just did LOL! A well organized student with exceptional grades will really appreciate this app and will come to depend on it as I do. You will love it. Data entry is never any fun! As the old saying goes, you only get out of it what u put in. If ur lazy and don't enter data, do not expect this app to help you!!! Enter data faithfully and it will keep u apprised of all your upcomming due assignments and projects weather in the app or not!!!! Again, for a 50,000 education best .99 I ever spent for somthing I carry with me to class already.

I am the most unorganized person in the world because I can not find a way to organize things that I work well with. This fixed all that. One of my wife's students told her about this app and I bought the ipod touch mainly for this application (that is not to say that the ipod hasn't helped me with other things) and it is a godsend. I'm so glad I got this app! I have been searching for a replacement for iProcrastinate Mobile, which is still under develpment, but VERY SLOWLY (i'm a beta tester). I tried many other homework apps, but couldn't find a replacement till now. iHomework is perfect for me. I really hope the dev adds things like push notifications and a desktop app to sync with. Definately recommend this app if you're looking for a homework management type of app.

This app has sooooo many great things about it! The amount of things you can edit and change for each course is simply wonderful! Each class tab can be completely edited to be exactly how the teacher grades for his/her class. Such a great way to keep track of notes, tests, reminders, grades, teachers office hours, class location etc. Very well worth $0.99. The developer seems very dedicated to making this a perfect app. Very nice work!!!

This app has helped me a great deal since I started college. It's simple to use and pretty self explanatory. It would be nice to have a little bit more customization such as being able to add custom fields for classes and being able to preset and then select a time period instead of having to fill it out for each assignment. The time is not a big deal at all considering that you can just duplicate one of your existing assignments and just switch some stuff but it would be a nice addition. Depaite these very minor suggestions I still lobe iHomework and would recommend it whole heartedly to any student. And it's hard to beat the .99 cent price point.

At first I wasn't sure that I liked being forced to add each teacher as a contact, but it makes sense. Otherwise, if I have to contact a teacher I will have to find my sylabus again.I especially like the copy assignment feature, it's very handy for entering a lot of similar assignments.I would like to have the category choice of readings (with test, quizes, homework, project) since I have a lot of reading assignments. Right now I am just using the project category.

I really like the app but I wish you could. Choose to hide certain assignment bcuz I put my whole schedule in there n everyday it says I have like 99 undone things.like if u sort it daily it will only show the present day n the day after that n hide everything else n do the same thing weekly or only show high priority things and things due that day n hide medium n low priority things... Just a suggestion
