Wow... I am amazed by the size and scope of iQuote, the depth and breadth of authors is just staggering. Yes it could be easier to search, using last names, more categories etc. However, I must implore anyone to get this based simply on its massive self-contained library of quotes. So many gems of wisdom, I could browse for days. This is culture, education and humor. My favorite section is Dan Quayle's, hoo-wee! Honestly, this app makes me feel sorry for people without iPhones.

I have been using this app for some time now. Its great, I mean, if you love reading "quotes" and getting inspiration every now and then. I particularly use it "on the go", when I am in the bus or tube travelling alone, or between office breaks. It also has the feature of adding your own quotes. Some of the quotes are even categorised, though I should add that almost 9600 out of 10000 are not categorised. I would have rated it 4.5, however, there is no option for that, but overall, I should laud the developer. Improvements that should include can be better rating of quotes (its just a sliding bar - dont really understand that), save to favourites maybe, better background pictures, sound, sharing of quotes betweeb app users (contemporarians) and if possible, a short biography of authors with pics or link to wikipedia. I know I am asking too much for just £1.19, however - people will pay more if it deserved. Best of luck - good work, keep it up and many thanks for a great app !!!

This is a very, very broad and extensive selection of quotes. A small proportion are sorted in categories but all are indexed by Author. Much more depth than other quote collections and the rating and viewing count system make relocating favourites easier. A bargain and highly recommended!

I enjoy browsing the quotations at random. There are thousands! Some real gems too. I love the fact I can add my own and mark quotations as favourites. The author seems to do lots of updates. If there was a way to back up and import my quotes maybe a csv file this app would be perfect.

A simple yet rewarding app that's VASTLY improved over the previous, "wheel of fortune" incarnation. Many possible uses and a nice stress-reliever if used for extended periods.

Bought it based on the good reviews this app is getting and I don't regret it. This app simply amazes me. There are literally a ton of quotes in there and you even have the opportunity to add your own quotes. Anyone who needs to do ANYTHING with quotes: Get this!

I am impressed with the developers who are constantly updating their products to make them better and better. I've had my Iphone for only two months and this app has been updated 3 times - each time the app gets better and more sophisticated. Thanks to the developer for trying so hard!

I gave this app one star several days ago when the image and description of the new app was advertised but the download was just a simply spin wheel. This is a MUCH improved version. Excellent design, presentation and functionality.

Very nice tool, when you're on the bus or in a boring lecture you can always take it out and educate yourself some more reading quotes from great men/women. Seleciton is really huge , and I hope there'll be some further updates to this to add some useful features like favorite quotes etc... Thanks for this app.

I really like this and I have added two of my own quotes. One request; is how to get my own quotes to one name. All the others have multiple quotes on one name?

Relatively simple design. Easy to use and has a lot of quotes. I'd say some quotes are pointless, but I don't look to this app to find what the meaning of life is. Whenever I'm bored it look up a few quotes; if I'm lucky I'll find a really awsome one and I'll star it. One day a simple, yet brilliant, quote my come in handy :D (or maybe not simple but whatever)

This App really is cool. It gives you many many quotes with which you will be able to shine in meetings and during your dates ;-)) and for this low price - it's a no regret!After The update this thing was taken to a completely new level. This guy is amazing, he even included all of my feedback and the feature wishlist.
