How is this app not in the top 100? Its 2D mode works almost as good as Graphing Calculator (which IS in the top 100, released before the change) with the only major differences being 3 items instead of 4 and no "graph paper" bars, but Quich Graph's 3D interface is amazing! (One nice addition, if it's possible, would be to ability to rotate the Z axis, maybe done by swiping the top of the screen left or right, leaving swiping the bottom of the screen left or right to rotate along the Y axis.)

Are you kidding me? Get it now before the guy changes his mind. This Version 1.1 is amazing. I gave a good review for TouchPlot but this app is FREE and it has all three 3D systems: Cartesian, Spherical, and Cylindrical (only 3D Cartesian in TouchPlot). Surfaces can be displayed as dots, lines or full shades.

I have never seen such an amazing device before. I thought that all the good graphs were $100 or impossible to put on an iPhone. But when I got this, I was blown away by its quick graphing and functions. This is almost all of what you need for graphing. It would be nice if you could have it evaluate statements where the variables aren't by themselves, like 6x+2y=98z. But this is a great app, and I give it five stars.

I've found this app quite useful for Math classes. It graphs quickly and the GUI for inputting equations is well designed. My only complaints: 1. Not enough viewing options, like making an axis have longer intervals. 2. It's be nice if the app could analyze areas of the graph for extrema/saddle points, and maybe even double integrals. Still, the app works better than I thought it would and it's free. So yeah... 5 stars.

This is a great app. The rather simple interface of the app helps for any calculation need from pre-algebra to college calc. I love that it does derivatives, but integration would be helpful too. Also, I dont know if it is possible to evaluate at negative values. I cant enter the negative sign in the "x=" box. Regardless, both teachers and students will be amazed at what such a simple app on an iphone/ipod can do. I definately reccomend this app for any math student.

Ok at first I thought that would be neat... 3d graphing... I just picured a slow hard to use laggy ap though... I was WAY wrong... It is awsome, completely lag free beautiful looking and ( I almost passed out when I did this) you can zoom on the 3d graph!!!! It is amazing... I do have some suggstions though... 1) cmon what is the tick counting about? Every 5 should be labeled or so... 2) why is there a limit on 2d graphs? 3) selecting intersections with other lines and axis is a mustotherwise I still have to rely on my ti... And high red touchscreen fast thinking lag free bigger screen calculator sounds WAY better... Please fix this pretty please :-) Lastly great job!!! It is awsome!!!

Simply fantastic. You can graph in 2-d or 3-d. You can plot multiple equations simultaneously in various coordinate modes (ie spherical). It comes with a library of interesting functions to plot. The best part of all though is being able to grab your 3-d plot and rotate it or dialate using the iphone's touch screen. The only thing I could think of to improve this app would be if you could choose solid surfaces instead of wire frame plotting in the 3-d mode. All told this probably the best app I've used on the iPhone so far. :-)

A must for every math student

This is amazing! This can display graphs that even my TI89 can't do. It is so easy to enter the equation and it displays it so fast that they could have called it INSTANT Graph. The quality of the graph is the best I've seen since using Maple or Matlab in engineering school and the ease of use is unmatched! (of course those programs are much more powerful, but also much more complicated and expensive).The 3D graphs will really help early Algebra students with understanding how the terms play unique parts and the advanced functions will carry students through several years of college.Every math student should have this.

Let me start by saying that out of all the graphing app, this is by far the best one. The only thing that could make this app even better would be if you could graph using functions with an equation on both sides of the = this would help 2 make even more impressive graphs, like a donut, and provide more uses. I would have easily paid $10 for this if I knew it was this awesome and wasn't free. GREAT APP !!!

I absolutely love this graphing calculator. The 3D graphs look great. I do have a couple of suggestions though.
1) we should be able to make equations from scratch. i.e. make it able to say y2(x)=sin(x^.5). some other graphic calculators allow you to do this.
2) It would be nice to have the axes go on continuously so that we could trace the path of the graph.
3) Being able to customize the color schemes and have one graph be in points while another is shaded would be a great feature.
4) We should be able to view the graphs in landscape layout instead of just the portrait mode.
Overall, this has been the best and most fluid graphing calculator out of any of the calculators I have put on my ipod.
Thank You for making such a great product.

Useful Little App but Missing Options

I'm a freshman college student, and I wanted a graphing calculator for my iPod touch. Quick Graph is a tidy, effective graphing app, but it has one fatal flaw. Once my math classes get harder, I'm going to want to change the window of the graph (the domain and range of the graph) as well as the frequency of points calculated to make the graphs. Without these features, I can't do some of the more complex things I'd like to be able to, but otherwise it's a very good app and it's free! If perhaps these two features could be added, I would consider it fairly well perfect.
