Old shroom is wrong.. I've downloaded plenty of different backgrounds on and off the hot section and have had no problems saving any of them. All have worked perfectly. He's either got a dodgy iPhone or iPod or he doesn't know what he's doing.. Also havnt had any problems with quality in comparing the viewing of the images on the app with the saved version in camera roll.. Seems identical to me, even zoomed in on pixels. Anyway, best wallpaper app for the iPhone 4 by far, a must have!

This app is cool but you have to check out PocketPooon.com. This really is a great app, and much better than I was expecting- especially being free. The first time I saw it in the app store I skipped it, thinking it would just have a handful with copyright text all over them and you'd have to buy a "full version" to get access to the rest (kind of like those clock apps). But what I found after finally downloading this was that there's a huge quantity of professional-quality wallpaper images available from all kinds of genres and styles. On the first couple pages I found a couple I wanted to go ahead and use, and I only saw a fraction of what's available. Also, I like that someone must be moderating the submissions and only approving the best ones, because there weren't any amateurish ones cluttering up the selection to wade through. Nice to see people generating and sharing high quality content for free like in the old days- thanks artists!

I can't believe people rating this app 1 star because of events out of the control and beyond the scope of the app itself. Of COURSE you're not going to see the retina effects with your iPod/3G iPhone, the iPhone4 is the FIRST to offer this!! The app specifically spells this out, why rate the app low because YOU can't read?!? Also, the pics WILL load slow if you're on a slow connection, this is NOT a new concept and is not the fault of the app. People giving 1 star reviews bases on the aforementioned should not be considered a reliable source of opinion, period.This app loads just fine on the iPhone 4 and displays bright, vivid, amazing photos for wallpaper and more. I used the pics to fill out my contact images that would not normally have their own pics anyway; a pic of a guy on the phone for my phone company, a pic of a syringe for my doc, etc.I would have paid up to $5 for this app but I didn't even need to do... IT'S FREE!

This app is amazing and easy to use. There are thousands of HD pictures to view and save. The variety of themes is incredible and there are thousands of additional pictures organized by category under the "Tab" button in the settings. The pictures are saved directly to your camera roll and are treated like any other picture. Very easy to set as background or to email. The picture quality is flawless. You will not be disappointed at all. *** Be sure to clear the CACHE under the settings after each use or you will quickly find yourself out of disk space ***

First I have to say that this app is great. I enjoy a lot of the images within and gave it four stars. Second, there needs to be credit given for where these images came from. I have found many of my iPhone 4 wallpapers within this app. Don't misunderstand me, I'm thrilled that my work is out there. But I feel that credit would be nice because it puts a name with my work. I understand that by uploading to Flickr I have semi-essentially made them public domain. That was really the idea of uploading them. Give credit where credit is due. Just a thought. :)

This is about the 5th wallpaper app I've dl'd and I'm actually going to keep this one. They look great on my 3GS but can't imagine how they look on a 4. If u want a good selection and a search bar that actually works, then u have to get this-free is free. Also doesn't have much of those pansy dudes from that moronic "vampire" series twilight. That's a plus right there. PS-twitter and foolbook are stupid 

The pictures in the app are almost all true HD quality unlike some other wallpaper app. I like most of them a lot and have been saving every other pictures. The only problem is sometimes it loads slowly. It's not as bad if you go one picture to the next. It's bearable for all the free and nice pictures. People need to stop complain so much about free apps. I highly recommend this app. It's free what do you have to lose right?

Great ! Love this app. At first when I downloaded there were only a few hundred but soon after that went to almost 900. Some of the best wallpapers I've seen the only thing that could make it better is if they add a search option.

This is my 3rd and I think final HD wallpaper app. Has more than I could have ever hoped for.yes there are some types of images I would like to see that aren't here but as many new ones get added it's probably only a matter of time. All I have tried so far are sized well, no stretched images or compressed images so far. I love it!
