It's more fun than I was expecting. Like having a pet hamster, sort of. Some things I would like to see added would be:1. Setting to specify a delay between sample and playback.2. Some way to pre-record samples to make a kind of hamster sound board.3. Maybe better animation and a way to interact with the hamster. Like following your finger if you touch the screen.4. A dramatic hamster button!! Hit the button and it re-creates the dramatic gopher with zoom and orchestra hit!I envy the developers on this one. What a fun project!!

LOL!!!!! This is cute, silly fun at its finest. What a CUTE app! OMG!!!!!

CUTE, CUTE, CUTE, and funny too.
My husband and I sat here and played with this app for about two hours last night. The hamster is the CUTEST and I love the way it bounces up and down and wiggles its toes when it "talks" back to you. OMG! What a cute, cuddly and adorable little entertaining thing. Love it.
Note for Developers: PLEASE, PLEASE, add a kitten and a puppy to your cast of characters!!!! That would be SOOOO cute.

Wow, I can't believe how funny this app is. My three year old son and I were in fits of hesterical laughter for almost two hours and I have been showing it off to everyone I know. Probably the best 59p I have ever spent. To better this app it would be fantastic if the little pets could speak using an incoming call voice from one of your friends, although it would be hard to have a conversation without wetting your pants. I will look forward to seeing new characters appear, I hope anyway. These apps are cool and that's why I love my iPhone so much.

Ok I'm not usually one for silly apps but I've got to say this has had me in stitches for the last hour! I took a punt and downloaded this after a friend recommended it and I wasn't disappointed at all. The ability to record and save five things you want the animals to say is a stroke of genius. There are four animals to choose from and the app allows you to change the pitch of your own voice with comical consequences. For everyone who doesn't take life to seriously download this app, you won't be disappointed.

Saw it, bought it, had half an hour of non-stop laughter with the entire family! This app is so simple and yet so much fun, it feels like one of those apps from the from the "early days" (last summer, actually). And, yes, the fun will wear off very quickly; after a while it will only sort of recharge with the exposure to new people. And still it's one of those few apps that have the potential for being both an instant smash hit as well as an evergreen. So, dear friends at Perfect Buzz Music, please be so kind and start adding new characters once in a while and take advantage of the many new capabilities that iPhone 3.0 will bring - and you will have a happy fan community for sure. Thanks for making this app! Right now I can't think of any other app that kids will enjoy this much.

Downloaded this App just out of curiosity and found it to be the best 99 cents I've spent on an App. When I first bought it, I spent several minutes just laughing as I talked and it talked back in it's high pitched voice. Also popular among coworkers who are always asking where my guinea pig is. After a while the built in sounds get overwritten, but is easily repaired by deleting and reloading the program. Other animals are cute too. Makes for a cheep laugh if you're in the mood. Of course it doesn't do anything else but for the price that was enough.

I have never had an app that made so many people laugh so hard! My 3 year old grandson laughed so hard he had tears rolling down his face! Yet all the people that have seen it, from 3 to 70 years old, laughed so hard it's obvious it appeals to all ages. I've yet to show it to any iPhone owner who didn't immediately buy it. Even strangers in grocery stores were drawn to it! I almost never pay for an app, but this one was DEFINATELY worth the money!! I've never reviewed an app before but had to review this one! Excellent job!

I thought "another voice changer"? *SIGH* But when combined with the cuteness of a kitten saying in a deep voice "I will eat your soul" cracks me and everyone around me up. Then it records you laughing and plays that back and you laugh even harder at that, and then it records that and plays it back and you end up having to kill the app before you die of lack of breathing... seriously guys, get this app!

I saw this morning and loaded it and suddenly my grumpy 15 year old, (not a morning person) my 12 year old, and my wife were all sitting around laughing their little butts off. We loaded it into her iPhone also and the apps started echoing each other. Very funny. Great start for you guys. Congradulations. Being able to record would be nice but I am not complaining. Well worth the price. Would have paid more knowing what I know now. Looking forward to the update!

I love this app and reccomend it to anyone. Just a couple of suggestions though. 1. Can you guys make it so you can record longer please?2. Also, can you make a mode where you can hit a button and it can record and stop so it won't keep recording and recording?If you guys add this, I probably won't get my homework done, but that is fine with me! And to all those people who say it's annoying, just read the description, it describes it perfectly!

This app makes me and my 2 1/2 yr old crack up laughing. He is in looooooooove with this app. At first it was cute. I had something to give him to make him stop crying or get out of my hair for a minute, but now, I can't enjoy my phone! Every time he sees me messing with my phone he throws a fit to play with "dog!" This app has 5 different animals to mock you and you can change their voices from high pitched to low. Its pretty cool. You don't have to hold down a button for it to record which is cool.

O.k. you don't have to pee. But my niece did - we were all laughing so hard! I work at a very serious job. I brought this app out at work, and we all started to laugh. Everyone wanted their turn. True clean fun, stress relief. My family loves this and my sister kept blowing rasberries to make fart sounds in the middle of what another person was saying - it was naughty and fun.
I did not have so much problems with the new version. Now that it is "fixed" it is still great, better. At first I did not like the buttons etc, liked the "old plain" version (far from ordinary though!). with this new version - BETTER!!! Be sure to read the directions - lots you can do with this app.
This is a gift, really, from the developers! .99 cents is more like a donation towards hours of total laughs.
Please add more animals - a bird, a pig, a horse, a monkey. . . . .

Good, but 1 possible problem

To the developer of the app-I still like SmackTalk, but there may be a little glitch I found with the app. If I open and close some of the other apps on my iPhone 3g and then open SmackTalk, it seems to display an image for a second of the previously opened app upon the loading screen. SmackTalk doesn't seem to have this problem with all the Apps. This problem just seems to occur with some of the apps on my iPhone 3g. The previous version of SmackTalk didn't seem to have this problem of displaying an image from the previously opened and closed app upon the loading screen. This problem with SmackTalk is not from the lack of restarting my iPhone 3g because I restart my it each time I download a new App or update any of my Apps. I even deleted the app, restarted my phone, re-installed the app, and then restarted my phone, but I still had the same problem with SmackTalk. Other than this problem of displaying an image from the previously opened and closed App, SmackTalk seems to work fine. If you, the developer of SmackTalk, reads my comment, SmackTalk is still a funny, stable, and good App. And this problem doesn't seem to affect the operation of SmackTalk, but it is an annoyance of the App. If you could address this problem with SmackTalk, it would be much appreciated. Thanks.
