I have been very happy with this program for about six months now.Highest recommendation!Pay no attention to the one star review regarding the guy who lost all his data. This program gives you the ability to back up your data at any time. All programs can crash and lose data. It's up to you to back it up. Personally, I haven't lost anything or had any problems with it the entire time I've used it.

This is a great app. It helps me keep up with the balances of all my accounts. I like the feature that auto numbers the check. However, since I use five different accounts the app puts the next check number based upon the last check no matter what account I am currently using. Can you have the auto numbering differentiate between accounts so that the next check number for that account auto fills? Also, can you have the check numbers appear in the register. Sometimes I write multiple checks to the same payee with the same amount. Need to be able to see last check entered from register, not from the edit mode. Other than that, the app is great.

I am very pleased with this developer! I purchased their other app called Ace Budget, which I love, and now I just purchased this app. Again, I am very pleased with their hard work. I like that I have a check register that won't run out of pages. I like how intuitive it is. Once you put in your ususal places where you spend money and assign a category to it, the next time you go to log it in the category is already in there for you. I love that you can assign a recurring schedule to any payee that you want. I definitely recommend this app. for it's usefulness, ease of use, and the price is great. Thanks SVT!!!

It's a great app for quick, simple accounts management. I am gladed I have it in my iphone. SVT software is doing a great job!!
I bought this app when it first came out, back then the report function didn't exist. After updates (with report function installed) most of my old transactions (a lot of them) became "No Category", is there any way(s) to have this resolve?
Suggestion: The Reports function is great! Is it possible to add a function to generate monthly expense report (or be able to select a time frame) instead of life to date numbers?

This is the first review I have EVER written and I've got LOADS of apps! I love this app, especially for the price, especially in comparison to other finance-tracking apps. I had sent an email to the devs requesting the ability to put my accounts in the order I choose and I got what I asked for in the next update. THANKS!I've got another request but I figured while I'm at it to give you the five stars you deserve! I agree, the ability to choose whether an account balance gets added to the main page total would be wonderful because I also use this app to track gift card balances. I also don't want the positive in my checking added because what I'd like to use the total for is to track just how far in debt I am! THANKS AGAIN!

Just bought this app a few days ago. Very easy to use, and exactly what I needed. A check register, and a reminder of running balances on various accounts. Also, I like the ability to reconcile entries and balance reconciled items. I was disappointed that entries couldn't be edited, and was very happy to receive the update today that does just that. This will certainly be one of my most used apps, along with TaskPro. Thanks for the speedy fix.

Easy to use and fast data entry. 2 types of reports are offered. Does pretty much what a full desktop version does at fraction of the cost. Microsoft Money watch out. No more saving receipts untill i get home. Take seconds to enter a transaction. Very  with this app. For the reviewer who wants recent entries first: go to accounts screen -> settings (lower left 'cog' figure) -> recent entry first 'ON'. Its that simple like everything else

I started using this program after getting fed up with Splash Money. This one does all the essentials with ease. Two suggestions: 1) give us the option of posting recurring transactions manually. I would rather them not be posted until I write the checks. Fiddling with the date and time is cumbersome when trying to maintain control. 2) I have never had any success with the data backup routine. The iPhone app never detects the desktop app. I've tried everything. Is there a more reliable way to backup and restore the data? Keep up the good work on the updates!!

Fourth review: Thank you so much for the latest update!!! This app sets the standard for all other similar apps! Believe me, I couldn't do without it since I don't use a paper register any more. A MUST HAVE! Get it, don't wait, just do it! The wife and I absolutely love this app! It's a keeper! Second review:This app is so good it has been on my dock since I purchased it! The wife and I use this app everyday! MUST HAVE APP for checkbook register entries!!! We haven't used paper registers since we both bought this! Love it, get it, you won't regret it!THIRD REVIEW:PLEASE, on next update allow memo to be seen upon entering into your register it would be SO much easier to reconsile without having to go into each and every one to find out which one it is. Example: I buy a lot of .99 cent apps and by having the memo (even brief view) on the outside would be so helpful as a time saver. Thanks,Please consider this!

This app has been great. I love the quick response and the ability to make changes if necessary. It is great to be able to add accounts. I have even created a cash account so I know where my cash goes (after I get it from the ATM). This has not only been great as a transaction register but also as a budget follower. The reports page is amazing, as is the ability to export all data in QIF or CSV format. The only change I would like to see is the reports page of the app itemize categories in more detail (i.e., I would like to be able to "click" on the category "miscellaneous" and see each item that falls under that category for a given month. This would enable me to really see where my money goes under each category.) Great job on the app overall.

This has replaced a custom excel worksheet I formerly used. ONE REQUEST: although there is a current balance at the bottom of the screen, I wish the balance would be listed after each transaction so if I have to look back I can see that I had $X on Jan 1, for example, and after such and such transaction, my new balance was $Y. Currently I can only see the type of transaction I made and for what amount, not what my balance was at the time. Please include this option.

I just purchased this app and so far it looks great. Nicely designed, intuitive, and quick. I especially like the lock accounts feature so that you don't accidently delete an account. The only small feature I would like to see so far is that when you click on an account, the registry should open up instead of having to click the plus button each to add a transaction. This is a must-have application for keeping up with your earnings and spending.

I love this app. Since I stopped carrying my checkbook several years ago (who writes checks anymore?), I would enter all my receipts into the paper register when I got home, which I'll admit, sometimes was not right away. If I've been making several purchases I'm left wondering exactly what my balance is. With this app, I know my balance at all times and enter all my transactions shortly after making them. I also like that you can set up repeating payees so every month you don't have to retype your standard payments like AT&T. The reconcile feature is also wonderful - it's never been easier! This app is for anyone who is anal about keeping their checkbook balanced down to the penny like me.

So glad I chose this app! While I didn't try out any other apps, I did check out the others by reading and glancing! This seemed to fit the bill & I was correct! I use my credit card as a debit card, so I found it incredibly useful to set up a "credit card" account to track my expenses. I also set up a "cash" account once I take money out of the ATM to track where all my money goes. Gives me the ability to get as detailed as desired with expense tracking. There's no budget capabilities in this software though to alert me if I have exceeded my budget, but I know my limits and then can just look at the "reports" breakdown to get a pie graph view of where my hard earned $$ is being spent. Eye-opening by providing such detail! Highly recommend!!

I upgraded this to 5 stars even though there is still room for improvement. However, I am amazed on how the developer upgrades this app frequently, adding new features I have wished or even what I have not thought of before.
My ultimate wish is that I hope it can update my bank finances without typing them manually.
Otherwise, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED in keeping track of your income and expenses. Bravo!

I use a finance application on my Mac and just wanted something simple on my iPhone to enter everything I spend in cash right when I do (because I keep loosing receipts and just forget later). Accounts not only does this brilliantly fast (much better than other apps I've tried that cost more and crash a lot), but is actually so easy to use that it has now completely replaced my desktop software. Unbeaten, not just for this price!
[And the recent updates made me love it even more!]

I have set up accounts for food, clothes, cash n my credit card balance. Every time I spend I add it. First time for years I've managed to keep within my limits cos I can see how much I have remaining all the time, which u lose sight of when constantly paying by card. And it sure beats writing in little books and using a calculator. I'm going to stop using my credit card this year and this little app will help me do it!Thank u

If, like me, you struggle to keep your personal finances in order without assistance, this app will be a godsend. It does everything you would need it to, and it produces nice little pie charts for you showing your income/outgoings and what you've spent your money on. Running balances, account transfers, recurring payments stored so you don't have to keep typing them in - it really is faultless. For what it does, I would have been happy spending at least double the price that it costs.
