Better than the AT&T app

I downloaded both this and the free AT&T app and I think this one is much better because:
1. visual interface is easier and clearer
2. can put a 4-digit security PIN rather than having to type in my longer AT&T password on the AT&T version
3. for some reason where I was in my billing cycle I was not able view the data usage on the AT&T version but could on this one
4. last but certainly not least, the AT&T version makes it too easy to change your plan and add on additional features - they are still trying to sell you something. because this is made by a third-party, it is very basic and straightforward - you can get the info you want, nothing more and nothing less.

Great Application and its FREE

I have now idea why people crying for ads in a FREE application. It actually works better than AT&T's own application, no crash no hangups. This application picks the exact usage posted by AT&T in users account and expalins via this application in a very simple and easy to understand interface. Ads comning at the bottom screen of the application and it does not bother the information you want to see. I would hingly recommed this application!

I've a 3G phone & this app loads & updates fast. It's also stellar at showing ALL the minutes, data, & text messages used by both of our phones AND the combined numbers for our family plan. Methinks that those who have problems either never shut their phones off to "refresh" the RAM in their phones, or are not aware they can free up the memory (with Free apps) & not have to shut the phone off. Hint - iPhones eat up your memory resources just by being left on for several days & that's why some apps don't SEEM to work. Love this app. Thx

What is wrong with you are you one of those negative people that can't ever be happy. First of all I didn't see you make an app, second remember that these are people just like you and I that make these apps. This is an excellent guide to monitor your usage. Now I'd you have issues or problems with the app them you should contact the makers of this app. Please take these things into consideration next time

I hate having to keep track of my bills and minutes, but I am not rich so it must be done. This app is better than the AT&T app. It gives the same info, but it's easier to navigate, gives more info in less "clicks", has alert features and is faster. I've had no stability issues. FREE. It does everything the company says it should plus it does it well. For that they deserve 5 STARS. Keep up the good work; I hope to see updates because I'm sure they will be great.

Like the app, don't like the ads

As one of the early purchasers of this app who was happy to pay 99 cents for an app that was of far superior quality to AT&T's free app, I am dismayed to see the recent revision to include mandatory adverts - personally, I feel that if I pay for an app and support the developer, I do not need / want to be used as a captive audience for advertisers.
I do understand and sympathize with PageOnce's dilemma in competing with AT&T's free app – Most consumers sadly do not seem to appreciate quality over cheap/free, so my critique is certainly more an economic / philosophical / academic one. If the developer provided an in-app purchase option to remove the advertising, it would be worth up to $2.99 to both support the developer, and remove the ads (mind you, the original price of the app was 99 cents).
I certainly can wholeheartedly recommend and endorse this app. It does what it sets out to do very well, and does so with style, while providing much more details than AT&T's.

It Works As Advertised

I do liket his app very much. The first time you use it you must establish your account by putting in your full iPhone number and your account password (it is 6 letters in length,make sure you know it). The first screen that arrives is the minutes screen and you can click to tab to visit the billing status page. You gt all the data you need from amount of minutes used to all the billing charges. I'm giving it a full five stars. It does exactly what it says it does, and it does it quickly and displays very nicely. I am very impressed. And if you can call someone then come back and refresh the data to make sure you haven't exceeded your minutes. I did that one month and wow! I got a bill for $248 so I NEED an app like this. The free one from AT&T doesn't work and for $1 this is worth the price. I say "buy it!"

I was really tired of the dailly ATT acount checking, so I figured I'm just going to try this and see what happens. REALLY, I don't know why users are giving it low ratings when it does exactly what it says it does. It shows my mins, text,rollover, data and every thing the images indicate. If you don't believe me go see CNET review of the app. However, I agree that ATT should have provided this for it's subscribers free of charge.

What an ingenious idea! This not only tracks cell minutes, roll over minutes, SMS text messages and data usage for my phone... It tracks it for EACH and ALL of my phones. I am now aware how much my kids are overdoing the SMS and, while it is startling, it is also helpful. I now see how I was over-buying minutes and how to manage it down. I will save BIG TIME!!! This app is easy to use and easy to set up. All you have to know is your phone number and your password and BOOM its all there. Best 99 cents I have spent in a long while. A MUST HAVE.

I like the quick and easy interface. Tells me what I need to know without going overboard with other information that I could care less about. I only wish that the graphs would act more like a battery or fuel meter. I think that the graphs should display all green when you start out the month, and as you use your minutes, the graph would decrease showing the remaining minutes/text/date available. Maybe even give the user the option of how they would like the graph to work.

Although AT&T recently released its own (free) app for this very purpose, I still prefer Cell Minute Tracker. The interface is much better than AT&T's app, which feels kind of sterile. My only quibble with CMT is the opening screen. Since this app is only for iPhones, why use generic cell phone clip art? It may seem like a small thing, but I'd like this app even more if the opening screen had an image on an iPhone, even a drawing. Other than that suggestion, I like Cell Minute Tracker; it's definitely worth a buck.

I bought this app and have yet to see it work once. It just gives me an error message saying there is a known problem and they are working on it. No details beyond that. I've tried restarting the phone to no avail. I want my 99 cents (plus tax) back if this won't work!
UPDATE....
Okay, so after about a week or two, it just started working. Overall, now that it works, I like it. It gives me the info I need and has a nice interface. I'm on a family plan so I can see the other member's minutes/text usage also. It would be nice to default to the last account I had it set to when I open the app, instead of having to select my usage out of the family plan each time.

I'm a Business Customer and it works fine

Unlike the previous reviewer, I'm an AT&T Business Customer (have been since 1999, and just recently switched from Blue to Orange) and it connects to my account just fine.
Features I'd like to see (which are in the AT&T "official" app):
- PDF bill viewing
- A way to change the colors perhaps (unlimited texts/data always show just the little green text in the middle of the long white bar)
- Maybe a better icon (the stock one is sorta bland)
Other than that, this app destroys the "stock AT&T" one all day, every day.

Another nice application from Pageonce

This is a great application and another nice product from Pageonce. First I like the interface of this product. It is easy to read and looks great. I like how the information is displayed, and what information is available. I can view individual phone information, or see the information for all my phones as a group. the only information that is not displayed is internet data. I also have the AT&T wireless application, and that detail is available in that application. However the AT&T application requires that you logon to get the account information, Cell Tracker does not require a login. Cell Tracker also allows you to pay your bill from the application. Another nice prodcut from Pageonce - well done! And best of all - its free!

Why wasn't this available when the app store first started?

And why did someone other than AT&T have to do it? Don't get me wrong, this is a great app and the very first that I've ever paid for, but I paid Apple and AT&T enough money that this should've been a no brainer addition to the phone's settings app. Especially if it involves possibly giving them more money for potential overage or late fees. The app is a little wonky in the interface, but it's entirely usable.
