If you're in to keeping in touch with your finances combined with being able to spend them then give this a whirl. Although you can't yet do traditional banking payments ...bill paying/transfers etc they promise that this around the corner. (watch this space!) On the downside there are only a limited number of retailers to transact with but have noticed they are adding more day by day (2 more since I signed up). Had a glitch signing up but was able to contact a call centre to resolve. Overall great potential I feel....more retailers and the banking part will tick all the boxes for me. Genuinly excited about banking on the go but the proof is in the pudding as they say. One to watch.

I am impressed with this app to say the least. I'm pleasantly suprised at the fact someone has finally merged both attractiveness and seriousness well as this rarely happens. This is a beautifuly deigned app with a great look and feel that's easy to use from first look. I can't say that I'd use any other features regularly apart from the bank statement feature but that doesn't matter as that's exactly the kind of app I wanted. Using Safari to check your banks funds, with no offense to Apple, is excrutiating, ugly and, although I may seem picky, takes a long time just to get a number (with consideration of security!). There are reviews of this app stating that the user is worried about security due to the fact that this app is taking many bank details from them but people should keep in mind that it has to be safe and has to be legal as for a start, the app is give the 'OK!' from Apple and secondly, when entering details, the app contacts the bank and asks 'is this ok?' (Not literally) so the app is even approved by your bank before use. I'd love to see what comes in the updates, thanks MoBank for a GREAT app that I can quickly use to check my bank, easily and in style! Elliot

Ok, at first the bank balance feature didn't work for me at all so I contacted their support. The support provided was very pofessional & helpfull & they contacted me regularly to update me with the progress they were or were not making. Eventually, after a week or so one of their techies found the issue, turns out that if there is an '&' symbol in any of your account names it fails to download the balances (an issue they are currently fixing) after renaming my accounts the balance feature has been working fine.
I am informed there are alot more to come from this feature too in the next update to include the ability to show your last five transactions & later on the ability to setup a payee/or make a payment from your account. A very usefull feature if your away & forgot to pay a bill.
Given the high level of support provided & the fact that they have big financial backing & support it is easy to see what the £15 is for, you are paying for a service after all. For all those who complain about the price & want something for free really aren't being very realistic here. An application offering support & features of this caliber simple cannot be done for free, & £15 isn't much to ask if you use the app regularly. If not, then you can pay the 50p per transaction. Don't forget, your first month is free to trial. With all the features to come this could prove to be the future for e-comerce but there does need to be alot more usefull features added.
As for security which some people have mentioned they are dubious about, & it is quite right to worried about security, it is my beleif knowing that Mobank have big financial backing & are getting the support from banking partners (not to mention Apple) that they would not be able to come up with this app including the banking features if they were not complying with security protocols & keeping all personal details on secure servers. Their only difficulty is getting their name out there as a name that is trusted.
As for the other features I really like the quick gifts wiget, offering gifts from Thorntons & Interflora from various budgets is a brilliant idea that I'm sure will get me out the doghouse in future, & very easy to browse through the user interface, alot quicker & easier than using safari as someone else mentioned.
The fast food feature is a good idea but needs more wigets in there to offer support to people who don't live in London.
Entertainment, booking tickets to VUE & cineworld & being able to browes whats on at cinemas in your area works well, & again in here it would be nice to see any local events/gigs & shows taking place.
Transport.. bit of a let down at the moment. After trying to browse for a flight to Spain for myself, the wife & our four kids it came up with a price in excess of £5K & expected us to change flights three times. I have been informed this is an issue they are aware of & is due to the vendors web site that provides the information. Future updates hopefully will give you other more options. I have not yet tried the trainline feature or London Taxis as I dont live in London, but why would anyone who does live in London use this when it is a charged call costin 10p a min plus your network rate, most people probably have a trusted taxi number stored on their phone anyway, I know I have about three & that would be free on my tariff.
Altogether this app is very promising, it looks good, is easy to use & has some usefull stuff at present which is why I am giving it 4stars, It could be a 5 star app but needs a little more work. I am looking forward to see what features or wigets get added in the future.

Update: It is now free to check your balance and view recent statements, makes worth downloading already! It's still 50p per transaction if you want to buy something using the app but thats fair enough in my book. A brilliant alternative until Monilink reveals it's hand. This app is free. But then to use it you either have to pay £15 or .50p every time you use it. Rip off. Wait for Monilink which is currently been developed for the iPhone :)

Just to note, the pin it asks for in the registration is a pin for your mobank account not your credit card, as someelse thought. I was a little worried as to string my online bank details, but that aside it works brilliant and is such a useful app for chechink your balance on the go. In terms of shopping, has some mainstream outlets, but it just needs more! Definitely worth the time to downloand and look for yourself. Giving 4 star as I think the app has potential and can do alot more. It's clear there has been alot of developement in the app and more development to come.

What more could u wish for. Everything in one place even your bank. And if your worried about giving your detales you have to remember that this compay has been verifyed by Apple and the companys it works with. In my view this it just was the iPhone needed a++++

Brilliant app and service. Works great now 3.0 compatible. Well worth the one off fee of £15. You can get a lot more than just flowers and chocolates, you can book cinema tickets, train tickets, flights, buy books and now computer games. I bought Wii jOG today without any problems.
