Superb  rating of Quicksheet
By: sisume - 31-Jan-2009
Version: 1.0.2
A fantastic upgrade to the free MobileFiles app. The excel editing has been implemented very well. Smooth and fast scrolling, panning & zooming in a spreadsheet, and suprisingly quick opening and viewing large complex spreadsheets. I'd highly recommend this as an alternative to the other file sharing apps out there, especially for those wanting to access their MobileMe iDisk and/or edit excel spreadsheets. All that's missing for me now is .doc editing and fast scrolling in large PDF docs. Still gets 5 stars from me though, as they've done a great job here and I'm sure we'll see word doc editing soon.

Great!  rating of Quicksheet

Stable, fast, effective. I love the Excel editing - it's highly polished. I would love editing features in landscape mode as it is only read only in landscape currently. I love the fact that if i close the app and return to it reopens the previously edited excel file. very smooth.
as a note, the xls editor is nothing like the viewer in the free version - it's much faster and more polished.
the file access on mobileme is fast - much better than iStorage, that is slow and unreliable.

QUIT WHINING ABOUT PRICE & REVIEW PERFORMANCE!!!  rating of Quicksheet
By: airmanchairman - 15-Jun-2009
Version: 1.0.2
I also bought Mobile Files Pro and felt miffed when I discovered that it updated to Quicksheet, and then QuckOffice was offered as a separate app with added Word functionality.
However, a quick comparison of the QuickOffice app price and the separate QuickWord app suggested that those of us that bought Moble Files Pro could get the complete Office functionality by buying the latter as well. The combined price matches the price (and appears to give exactly the same functionality) of QuickOffice.
That's by the by, anyway - my opinion is that this review space is to consider the app's performance and features, and not for stingy and embittered buyers to "get their own back" at the developers for what they consider to be a rip off. A quick look at what the same app costs on other platforms reveals we are getting a good deal, the best deal by far, on apps by QuickOffice, and excellent functonality as well.
I have barely scratched the surface of the capabilities of this excellent app and there is a promise of more to come.
This user is very satisfied - at least, so far so very good...

Awful!  rating of Quicksheet
By: jMAQ - 02-Sep-2009
Version: 1.3
I paid £5 for mobilefiles pro - well in the knowlage I knew that the ompaby would update the app to include wot processing etc - and if course I lived the icon -WHAT on earth happened? Terrible icon compared to the old and a change in focus to purely spreadsheets - I didn't pay for this! I paid for iDisk access and ability to save files on my iPhone - I feel ripped off and certainly want my money back unless the company reverts to it's old ethos - bring back mobilefiles pro!!!

Very useful application  rating of Quicksheet
By: Ash285 - 04-Apr-2009
Version: 1.0.2
I downloaded the pro version of MobileFiles specifically so I could have access to iWork files. Having access to my MobileMe files and documents is very handy, especially when on the road or traveling. I am planning on using this app mostly while traveling, to have a quick look at flight details and reservation information.
I have read other feedback that editing of large Excel files is difficult, but if you are looking for easy access to your MobileMe files, this is a great app.
My only feedback at this point is that support for Open Office files would be a great addition.
UPDATE: I must admit, I hate the new icon for this app. The old icon was much nicer. Please bring it back! If I was looking to purchase this app now, the icon probably would turn me off straight away- which is a shame as it is a great app.
Also, support for iWork 09 would be great.

Excellent App  rating of Quicksheet
By: polpaul - Dec 28, 2008
Version: 1.0.0
When I switched to the iPhone from WinMo my biggest (well, my only) regret was the lack of a syncing spreadsheet app. My workaround has been to use a desktop app to update my spreadsheets which I keep on iDisk, and then use MobileFiles to view them only. I tried a number of the spreadsheet apps, but most of them, while nicely done, have syncing issues. When I saw that MobileFiles Pro developed the ability to edit spreadsheets, I immediately downloaded it. This is exactly what I have been waiting for. Within moments of downloading the app, I connected to my iDisk, edited my spreadsheets, and tested a number of functions. I have yet to put it entirely through its paces, but so far the app performs beautifully, quickly, and appears to handle rather complex functions without bogging down.
The only minor issue I noted is the app is a little fussy when displaying numeric characters: it will display "#" if the cell attributes are set to number/general. I had to change all cell attributes to an actual number format to get the literal to display. I can live with that. My only complaint (and I am reaching at this point) would be that it opens by default to the top of a spreadsheet, rather than to the point where the last update was performed. On a long spreadsheet, you have to constantly scroll down to the point where you were last. (WinMo opened to the point where you last performed a change by default.)
Very nice job, Quickoffice. Thank you for this app. Highly recommended. This is the best $10 I've spent in a long time.

FINALLY. Amazing upgrade and I can't wait for more Office support!  rating of Quicksheet
By: Darth Diggler - Dec 28, 2008
Version: 1.0.0
Finally finally FINALLY a solid app that not only stores files, but can view AND EDIT them. I'm frankly baffled why there haven't been other document editing apps (that I know of). I tested it with a huge spreadsheet that I have on my iDisk and it worked perfectly. This app also lets you create/manage folders on the iDisk and even upload files from the iPhone. This version only supports editing on Excel files, but based on the promotional art on their web site I ASSUME that Word support is coming eventually. For now it's still an awesome app worth every penny.

Good product  rating of Quicksheet
By: bluedawg2 - Mar 26, 2009
Version: 1.0.1
This product does what it says it will very well.
Great for transferring files to your ITouch or Phone via WiFi. It won't do this over the phone network.
Great for creating or editing simple spreadsheets. You can create a simple spreadsheet directly on your ITouch but it is much easier to create the spreadsheet on your PC or Mac and then make simple changes to the variable fields in your spreadsheet. It has a good selection of formulas, but entering formulas is pretty difficult directly on the ITouch, so start on your PC or Mac. Also there is no cut & paste (ever try to create a spreadsheet without cut and paste ?), but maybe that will come with Apple's Iphone 3.0. Anyway I am impressed, simple and functional.

Best application avalible for the iPhone  rating of Quicksheet
By: markisola - Jan 31, 2009
Version: 1.0.0
I don’t usually leave feedback for applications but this one I must. If you subscribe to MobileMe, Mobile Files Pro is the single best app available for the iPhone. This app allows the iPhone to become a productivity tool instead of a fart synthesizer. It is well thought out and developed. I’m looking forward to the future upgrades and functions. If I can make a suggestion; I’d like to see the ability to open password protected Excel files.

Wow  rating of Quicksheet
By: Charlie 1976 - Feb 18, 2009
Version: 1.0.2
The real deal. Easy to use. Clean interface. The fuctionallity is fantastic. The idisk integration is amazing. I am so pleased with this experience. I wish I had it when my computer was in the shop for two weeks and I needed to edit my excel files on the go. This is a priceless piece of software, and I only hope it grows to have more functions you can use and more files you can edit like word and power point. Great start though.

First Impression  rating of Quicksheet
By: adamjacob - Dec 31, 2008
Version: 1.0.0
Seems very easy to use. I bought this app for Excel. Has some unique functions:-Doesn't require MobileMe-wifi file transfer-optional password on wifiEdits excel-formatting (text,color,type:text,percentage,etc.)-equations (similar to excel with equations, no wizard for cell selections that I have found, but still works fine)-can change column width by dragging-can select multiple cells by double tapping then dragging-supports multiple sheets-no sorting (that I know of)-no help menu (that I know of)My only suggestion is that it needs a wizard for entering cell selections in equations - sometimes I have to make myself familiar with new equations or need a refresher for formattingAll in all, for what I need, I'm happy to pay $10 for this app and am very impressed with it

Buyer Beware: DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY  rating of Quicksheet
By: TMANz - Apr 17, 2009
Version: 1.0.2
First Review on Initial Release:
Nice upgrade from free version but this app would be perfect if it had Word document editing and emailing capabilities. Hopefully these features will be added soon.
Update: April 2:
I can't tell you how pissed off I am about this new version. I purchased Mobile Files Pro with the anticipation of being able to edit Word files in the future. I did not buy a spreadsheet editor exclusively. Their website even said Word editing was coming. This is complete and utter BS. I now have to buy another app to get Word editing? I am truly disappointed.
Update: April 16:
Because of the bait and switch, I am going to buy Dataviz's Docs to Go when it is available and probably ReaddleDocs for iDisk access. Quickoffice's ethics are seriously in question.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Amazing app. One minor flaw in landscape mode  rating of Quicksheet
By: Mike37381 - Aug 6, 2009
Version: 1.3
This app is amazing. Very powerful and exactly what I needed in my shirtpocket. One minor issue I found was when you read your spreadsheet in landscape mode. Sometimes, you cannot scroll left and right. I end up having to turn it back to portrait mode, scroll, then back to landscape mode and then it works. So it just seems to get 'stuck' occasionally in landscape mode. Even with this minor issue, it doesn't take away from a VERY useful application. Thanks.

This is the ONLY iPhone application I have actually paid for.  rating of Quicksheet
By: ctlongley - Dec 29, 2008
Version: 1.0.0
I began using MobileFiles when it first became available as I decided I was tired of transferring files between my laptop and work via USB and started using MobileMe's iDisk instead. Additionally, I was tired of using Microsoft Office 2008 on a Mac because I wasn't very thrilled with the interface and generally poor performance for the Mac. SO, I switched to iWork and MobileMe. As a result, I needed an application that could access my iDisk wherever I was AND have the ability to view iWork documents (pages, numbers, and keynote) amongst the standard litany of file types. Additionally, I wanted to have the ability to quickly transfer files without too much fuss or cables. MobileFiles PRO fits this bill nicely. In addition to its ability to view the various file types, I can quickly move files from my two separate iDisks to my iPhone, wireless share these files (just like Airshare), or even edit XLS formatted files. The interface is much better than the original MobileFiles and the spreadsheet editor is actually very intuitive. Although many frown at an application over $.99 in the App Store, for me - a MobileMe and iWork user - this was an easy sell and I would happily pay for future versions that may support other editors as intuitive as this one. This is one of the better applications that has been made to date for the iPhone and it has greatly increased my productivity with the iPhone.

Brilliant, but needs more work.  rating of Quicksheet
By: iidjkg - 11-Jan-2009
Version: 1.0.0
This app blew me away. Transfering files was extremely easy and quick. I was able to edit my Excel .XLS files which other file apps were unable to do. All that is needed now is for the developers to update the app so that you are able to edit the latest version of Excel files and to be able to import photos from your iPod Touch or iPhone photo library, be able to specify a longer password, landscape editing and a few of the other suggestions other reviewers have made - then this app will have no competition.

Needs more work  rating of Quicksheet
By: SPF - 28-Dec-2008
Version: 1.0.0
There are quite a few rough edges on this first release, and some major deficiencies. I'm sure they'll get addressed but, for the moment, you will be better off sticking with the free edition and the far superior Spreadsheet offering from Talksoft.
Major irritations are:
1) No multiple cell selection - apart from by whole column (you can in Spreadsheet)
2) Limited cell formatting, and currency format defaults to USD.
3) Not possible to edit in landscape mode (!)
4) Row numbers become illegible in shrunken view (pinched)
None of the above are issues with Talksoft's version.
A couple of areas where I believe MobileFiles scores over Spreadsheet:
1) Ability to edit in native Excel format - no need to convert to XML
2) Import export process is slightly slicker - nice simple browser-based interface
As I said; I'm sure these things will get addressed fairly soon but, Spreadsheet has certainly made a much better start.
Oh - and the Word docs have a quirk too, when changing from portrait to landscape. Sometimes skews the formartting.

Best spreadsheet but bad editing  rating of Quicksheet
By: Luvgeek - 25-Apr-2009
Version: 1.0.2
Even though the pictures in the full quickoffice app show copy and paste this is sadly lacking. Hopefully that will come in an update. While it has impressive function support (even lookups) the entry is torturous. There is no range input or cell selection. It all has to be enterred one character at a time with countless switches between letters numbers and punctuation. You need to write the cell ranges down because the keyboard covers them when you type. Even number entry is inconvenient... But then again this is an iPhone, not a Trëo.Great spreadsheet but save your screen (because you may smash it with a rock in frustration) and edit the spreadsheet on your pc.I hold out hope that the technogy of quickword is brought over in am update. Fix the editing and it will be perfect.

What I've been waiting for  rating of Quicksheet
By: Elhaz - 25-Jun-2009
Version: 1.1.1
I've always loved my iPhone - but with my job I needed to be able to adjust xls files on the move - and now I can. I started with MobileFiles just for access to my Moble Me idisk, but now add to that the ablity to edit spreadsheets, and upload/download files to my computer over wifi - this is exactly what I've been waiting for. Now if you let me access my google apps account, do a little word procsessing, and actually mount my iPhone as a disk on my desktop computer, it'd be perfect.

App-reciator  rating of Quicksheet
By: Crvycat - 3-Jul-2009
Version: 1.1.1
Good App!Great to use on the fly - you don't need all the bells & whistles full Excel offers as you can transfer files to you desktop for anything fancy yet it still offers a good number of functions to get by on. If you aren't expecting to do mega-sheets w/ hyperlinks, etc, this app rocks!I would like to see Freeze Panes as an option though... That would help considering the limits of the Touch/iPhone viewing field.Cheers!
