Wow. Amazing application. I was just at best buy helping my grandparents get a new tv since their tv just broke. We found one they liked. While they were discussing if they would be it or not, i quickly pulled out my iphone and opened "Save Benjis". I quickly typed in the model number and suddenly got several listings. I saw one for 50 bucks cheaper online so i ask the store manager if they could match prices from websites and showed him the website. He looked at it and said that he could match it. I was excited. I couldn't believe that my iphone just saved us 50 bucks! I love this app and i plan to use it to help when i make future purchases!!

Have you ever been shopping for an item and wondered "I wonder if this is any good?" or "What if i can get this cheaper online?"
I got this app right after I got my iPhone 3G. I went to Target and used it to look up headphone reviews from amazon. It was so simple to look up the headphones I was browsing in the store. You can search by item name, or punch in the barcode of the product you are looking for. It searches multiple online stores for that product and gives you a list of prices from those stores, along with product reviews. From there, you can purchase it directly from the store's website. The interface is very simple, clean, and intuitive. I can see myself using this quite a bit! Smart buyers should get this application.

For those who do not know, this app is powered by FindersCheapers.com. I was very impressed with Save Benjis as soon as I downloaded it but I noticed a problem. No results for Amazon were being returned for any of my searches for DVDs. Searches on FindersCheapers.com returned the same results so I knew the problem was not with Save Benjis. I e-mailed FindersCheapers about the problem and 14 minutes later I had a response not only thanking me for the information but also saying that it was already fixed and this was on a Sunday morning. I expect that this will prove to be a tool without equal and it might just offset the purchase price of the iPhone by itself.

One of the best things about this is that you can configure what stores it searches or doesn't. I don't particularly want to buy stuff on eBay, so I can go to my Settings button on my iPhone and configure it to which websites it searches. Amazing how many sites it found in such a short amount of time. It shows a photo of the item and you can even buy the item right from the iPhone. Amazing and scary at the same time.

This app searches through many stores and always finds you the best prices for whatever you are looking for. It can even understand keywords up to the point where you give it a vague term, such as ""hd tv", and it will give you extremely accurate search results. This app gives you many options to choose from, including used and new conditions. On top of all that, savin' benjis takes you to the site that it found the prices, so you can determine whether it's legitimate or not. You start saving money the second you download it, because most other people would charge for something this useful.

I give this app 5 stars for saving me over 500 benjis today ... I was shopping for a TV. I was standing in Best Buy checking out the prices ... pulled out this handy little app, emailed myself the links to the websites that offered better deals ... happen to catch a Free Shipping deal along with the $400 savings on the TV, plus no sales tax! I can overlook one minor quirk that I hope they fix. When I leave the app to work another app and then come back my place is lost and have to start over (sort of). Although it does save all previous searches to come back weeks later, if so desired. Still, this app will save you money next time you are thinking about paying retail. Well worth it!

Wow! Save Benjis has helped me as a college student to see what are the cheapest textbooks to buy and it has been so useful! My wife who doesn't have an Iphone was blown away of how easy it was to pull up products she has been needing around the house! I think everyone that has an Iphone should get this application because it will save you money. Honestly who doesn't want to save money in these troubling economic times?? This application has saved me money on everything!

First of all is free, so if you save some money, you are already ahead. I think this is great for impulsive shoppers, like when you see a moderate or high priced item at a store and you are just about to submit to your desires, then just take a moment to check the alternative prices available elsewhere. You may very well save big bucks after you see the results of the prices elsewhere for the same item. You will then probably think twice about buying the one in front of you in the pretty store display. The searches can be a little erratic at times, so the more information you can enter about what you are looking for the more accurate your results will be. This is an nice application and I know it will save me money.

Price match in-store for in person discount!

I saved $ the first time I used this app! At Best Buy I looked up a rock band controller while in line to pay and showed the cashier that it was cheaper on bestbuy.com. She gave me the Internet rate which saved me about $10 & the cost of shipping if I'd ordered it online. It was frustrating when the app froze or took a long time going to safari, especially when I had to quickly show the price online to the cashier, so hopefully the developers will improve this soon. Nonetheless, this is a great app and I recommend it even if it costs a buck or two.

I was hoping for an application just like this when the app store opened -- and here it is.
The overall flow makes a lot of sense -- type in what you're shopping for, get prices/reviews/information, and once you've found a price or seller you like, drill into detail on that seller.
It would be even cooler if the application could scan barcodes directly -- typing the name of the book I'm looking at can be a slow process. But I'm sure they'll get there in a future version. For now, the overall feel of this application is quite good -- and the price is hard to argue with!

This is such a handy app. It will TOTALLY speed up the process of price checking while
shopping. However, under the advanced search, when you go to input the 'model number'
It brings up the silly phone number pad which is lacking all of the hyphens or underscores
necessary to input a number. Not a big deal but I really hope this small fix is included in the
next update. GREAT WORK SOL ROBOTS! you guys kicked ACE on this one. How do I get set
up with you guys as a beta tester?

This the best app I've seen for price comparisons. However, I think they could take it one step furthur in the next update.I'd like to see something like Gifter added, where it has a link to all your contacts birthdays/anniversaries in chronological order, and let's you shop for gift ideas using the Benji interface.Should also search stores like Costco & Sam's Club. But for just straight searches, it does a good job.Last, please move the settings into the app itself. I hate having to quit the app to go change a setting, then go back into it. Not efficient.

Really disappointed in this app. I'm giving it four stars because it seems the information I want is available. However, there's no easy way to narrow my search. Your categories are far too broad unless I'm missing something. I wanted to shop an appliance. Tried "home and garden" looking for a range and instead got thousands of blenders and a few ranges, but none by the manufacturer I wanted.I suggest a "search" feature so I can specifically look for "appliances", or even better "large kitchen appliances" so I don't get blenders and toasters.

i love the idea and the app has nice interface, only problem is that i find it very difficult to find the items i need, i reccomend you guys try simplifying the search engine to help us find exactly what were looking for quickly without 5000 products appearing when we search an item, because i was excited when i saw this and was let down when i tried to use it for the first time. hope the next update incorporates this major problem thank you.

I've been very impressed so far with both the speed and quality of the results. Quite possibly one of the best apps in the store and it's FREE. Customizarion options are good and the ability to link directly to the page/store is very useful.

Dear Save Benjis,This app saved me a lot of money while I was at best buy. I bought a laptop cooler that was priced at $33 but Save Benjis found it for $20! Benjis has saved me easily $50 since I got the app so those saying this app is useeless are blasphemers:)
