I am not really a game player but I have to admit that ever since I downloaded this game I can't stop playing it. This is not like any other game you have played before. Awesome idea!!!!! This game combines reality with computer generated flying saucers, Without a doubt worth a buck. I would love to see more augmented reality games. FUN game. Just don't play it in the doctors office waiting room like I did.The doctor may refer you to a psychiatrist. Buy it. You wont regret it.

AR Invaders

It looks like Augmented Reality (AR) games are on the rise in the app store, and I ain't complaining. AR Invaders puts little alien ships in the room in which you are. You can also move around and fight them from all sides. Seeing little explosion effects hitting your walls is very cool. Recommended.

Well I guess it is a cool concept, and is pretty fun. Like everyone below, I also dislike that the UFOs seem to always appear over my head and make me bend backwards holding up my phone like a reject. Having them appear over the horizon would be much better, but I suppose that would involve more AI interacting with objects (hiding under trees, behind signs or buildings, etc.) it's easier to have them up in clear blue sky, where there is nothing to worry about colliding with or disappearing behind...but not as fun

Great idea to use one's natural environment as the backdrop of the game, but this idea was poorly executed. All you get is frustration because you are straining your neck to find aliens, and keeping your hands in the air for a sustained period is not fun. Too bad, the idea had potential.

My gripe with this game is the lack of fun it is to play. The UFO's are placed at such awkward areas, it becomes frustrating to continue. Plain and simple, it's not fun holding your phone in the air pointed upward and then bending backward and to the sides trying to find the ufo's. Your arms get tired fast. The interface design are simple and cool. This is suppose to be for the iPhone 4? Why does it not have the retina display compatible resolution for the menu then? Half as'ed and half baked production. If you want a shoulder and fore arm workout , get this app!

Not even close to ready

Get ready to never be able to kill the aliens which always spawn right above your head so you have to crane your neck back with your arms up while you struggle to have the program realize you've moved the device more than a few degrees. AR Fail.

Cool concept, half baked release. Gameplay isn't as responsive as it should be on an iPhone 4. Graphics aren't up to par for where they should be. There was another review about the placement of the saucers, I totally agree. I tried playing a 180 game and kept having bend backwards cause they were behind me. Game falls way short of what it could be. I would hope they listen to the reviews and fix in updates soon. I say save your buck or buy something else for now.

I like the contest and the game could be good.However it's hard to find ufos and you can't shoot them well.Don't get it it's a bad game
