Game is easily the best looking wireless game to date. Has great play control and fun gameplay. Easily worth more than 10bucks. I woulda spent 30 figuring graphics are insanely tight for something in my hand. I feel luke I have a dreamcast at my finger tips. The game has crashed a a few times and I don't know why. My iPhone is nowhere near full and I turn off my iPhone regularly. The games tilt functionality is also nonexistant. I've tilted my phone for several minutesbin my races to no avail. My car didn't move left or right. Which is fine cause I like the steerin wheel just fine. I hope they come out with a sequel soon. If this is any clue as to how powerful of a game platform the iPhone can be then I'm glad I don't own a nintendo ds or psp. For all you still debating getting this game think of it more as burnout revenge meets cruisin world. Definetly a must have for any iPhone.

Amazing graphics, controls take a bit to get use to but its not bad at all. Many diffrent challenges throughout the game. Can really fine tune your car and feel the results during the next race. Engine, cylinders, exhaust, chip, rims, tires, intake, brakes, crankshaft, pistons, suspension and cars colors can be upgraded, and thats just some of the upgrades. You can even race motorcycles (Ducati)! Four diffrent camera views of the race. If you like racing games, this one is a must. Puts Cro-Mag back in the stone age. Now all we need a first person shooter game. Hint Hint Gameloft !

Great game, good graphics. My favorite feature is the choice of 3 different ways to control the car, touching the left/right side of the screen to turn in the selected direction, the accelerometer, and then a steering wheel you turn left or right, which doesn't work to great, but the different options that i can change even while in the middle of a race is VERY handy. Good job. Of course I do think it's a little expensive...but if I can fork out the 10 bucks on my budget, so can you.

I am not typically a racing game fan, but I took a chance with this one and wasn't disappointed! The first time playing this, I ended up playing for about 3+ hours, as the unlockable cars, events and upgrades keep the gameplay fresh. For people who will initially think the game fails--keep playing it, as the upgrades to your car will greatly add to the control and smoothness (don't judge the game on the initial chaotic handling...it gets better when you buy upgrades wisely). Another thing that surprised me was that the battery usage wasn't outrageous (major props for this). The only two glitches I can live without are the announcer's voice and a crash on any New York event. As for the former, I don't know why the voice keeps changing in depth, but all I know is that it sounds unpolished and silly at times.
Great game--definitely worth the $10.

This app is tops! A great game! I have just completed it I have been addicted to it. It's great with good game play and controls. Loads of cars, tracks etc if u like games like need for speed and burnout than you'll love this! Haven't tested multiplayer mode yet. On the downside the app has crashed a few times annoying when it does it when I'm ahead in the race- nothing a restart can't fix - a must have - atlant.is

Bought the game cus i like racing. I was considering ferrari gt evolution but decided on this game because there was more than wun type of car.absolutily awsome. unfortunatly i played it waaay to much and got to level 98 in three days. goes to show how much fun it was.
Control : 8/10
Gamplay : 10/10
Graphics : 10/10 ( best i have seen)
replayability : 7/10 there is only one story, but you can redo races

Best iPhone Game So Far

I'd been contemplating buying Asphalt 4: Elite Racing for a few weeks, and when I finally bought it a few days ago, I was simply amazed. I am a fan of Cro-Mag rally, but after the fifth-or-so time you play it, it gets old - not the case with Asphalt 4. In Asphalt 4, there are multiple cities and dozens of cars, many of which are unlocked after you play it for a little while. The graphics are superb, and it's amazing how well the iPhone can deliver such great frame rates with no lag. You can customize your vehicles from the color down to the transmission, making for excellent replay value when combined with 4 different playing styles for each of the cities. This is an excellent game for an excellent price; those who are complaining about the price don't realize that games for other gaming devices cost at least twice the price.

Best racing game. Period.

I was a little nervous about buying this game because I'm not a big fan of racing games, but this was amazing! The graphics are great, there are plenty of cars, locations, and races, and the controls work perfectly. The only thing that I could possibly think of for them to add is some spoilers for the cars or maybe some levels at night so you could put neon lights on the bottom of the car. If you read down to here, just buy it, you won't be sorry.

This is, by FAR, the best app out there. The features are amazing, graphics are spectacular,... It is just a great app all around. The multiplayer is nice to have as well. It does crash on occasion, but that is to be expected in the first version or two of an application. If you have the money, this is definely a level above other apps that I've tried including MonkeyBall, Cro-Mag, and possibly Enigmo.

I must say, this is among my favorite games for Iphone. I do not understand why some complain of difficulty--this game is dead easy to control, especially with the excellently implemented touch controls. How people are not able to beat the first race is beyond my comprehension. The feeling of speed is invigorating, it's hard to blink when you're engaged in white knuckle gameplay. I would suggest that perhaps more cosmetic options for cars would be nice, since each car has a max of 3 different colors. More colors would be nice.

This is well worth the price. 20% off makes this game that much better. Seriously, these guys could sell this game out on the market for at last 30 dollars... and we get it for 10 on our ipods. The gameplay is really sweet, graphics are pretty good considering the device, the cars are very cool (you definitely notice the upgrades and performance of each of the cars). Must buy if you have ever liked a racing game on any console, or even if you just want a game to play on your ipod/iphone... this game kills.

I've spent a fair few quid in the app store since July and to be honest had more misses than hits. Reading the reviews made me wonder but I went for it. I wipe out my battery with it everyday now. I've taken calls,dismissed low battery warnings and never had a crash. Once used to the controls (I like the tap the screen method)it plays fine.In fact as well as some of the poorer psp games(midnight club). Best app I've purchased so far.

.... Wow.... Ummm wow I just played it for 3 hours straight... Lol I bought Cro mag, moto Racer, Ferrari evolution hmmm those were pretty bad. I gave up on iPhone racing games this game is .... Fkn sick.. Too easy though... I played like 40 tracks off the bat and won 35 came 2nd maybe 4 times and lost once LOL.. all I do is KEEP HITTING NOS make sure u drift and keep hitting ur opponents off and u can 80%(?) of the time get enough nos.. Also hit nos after u start drifting ur bar goes ORANGE I think it goes up heaps fast hope that helps with ur enjoyment.. $1.19? Wow.. I'm a little upset I paid like $14 for Sparta but GOOD JOB GAMELOFT now drop price for BROTHERSINARMS and I'll buy!!

The best racer on appstore looks pritty good, you can't expect to much more from this. Well worth the money. And to anyone with crashing problems just reboot phone or touch if still no joy just deleate it ( don't worry ) go to buy it agian and it will do normal thing and you think you get charged agian but you will get a message saying " you have allredy downloaded this item this perchase will be free continue/cancel" And the app should then work fine, this gosse for every app. So stop writeing bad reveiws for apps that are working, read reveiws first and it's easy to see if a app has problems, just think before you slate apps and developers.

I thought it was a greatly made game with good graphics. The only problem is that i like to play on the tilt format but it is annoying that sometimes it gets off landscape mode when you turn too much. Instead of switching form landscape mode automatically you should make it in the settings. Also when you use the tilt format it boost pretty much automatically. Besides for that i would say it is a great game!!!

I know that's probably a long shot but then it would be like having a need for speed in your pocketAdd more cars and cources to make the game longerAdd more customization options like run and tire size, ride height, hood, lights, etcWhoever agrees with me plz say so in your comment so the developer can take the time to make the changes

I have been waiting a long time for a decent racing game with good graphics and good variety. This is the game I've been waiting for, excellent graphics for its price, a respectably long campaign with many races and cars to choose from, and if you have a mate with the same app you can race him over wi-fi, something else I've been waiting for. But this game is not without its faults, so far it has not crashed on me, but there are allot of people who have had this problem, and its because they bought it on the mobile app store, I bought it directly from iTunes, not from my device. As I've read that there is a known fault with the mobile app store where it, sometimes, misreads files once they have been installed, this is very rare but it seems to effect larger apps more often, so if your having trouble with crashing, try to reinstall the app using iTunes. Don't be put off by the reviews of slow frame-rate and crashes as I get none of that at all on my ipod touch, just make sure you use iTunes to install! I'm sure Apple is addressing this problem as we speak.

A4ER combines the best aspects of other racing games and puts them together in a very polished and playable presentation. There are plenty of game modes, modifications, cars and tracks to keep the casual and hardcore gamer satisfied. This game sets a new standard in iPhone gaming which all games that follow will need to meet.
Please do consider an Accelerometer configuration screen however, not all iPhones have the same zero point.

This game is the PERFECT cross between hot persuit burn out revenge and underground. Tilt stearing on other games is sometimes akward so the touch stearing works amazingly well. You have so many great looking car and motercycle choices it's unbeleavable. Then you can upgrade their parts in over 20 catagories. I have almost all the top paid game apps and this is a game you would expect on a platform game like the x box or ps2 it is a MUST DOWNLOAD that will never get old.

This is game is all right nice graphics and of course the cars. But their is downsides when you play the game for a long time the game quits and also the sound effects goes to normal to abnormal (squeaky then very low). Also try to some Lamborghini and the dodge viper because the Other 28 cars is starting to get boring. Also on your nice update add More colors and accessiories to the vehicles, three colors isn't really enough. Also when you are playing the game music bores people could try to make an option that we can listen to our music, I bet if you read this review and do what it says your sales for this game will rise.
