This game is an awesome battle bears game but the huggables move so fast that they are only easy to kill woth coffee. Also Riggs (and hopefully the one that is still being made is Willis' campaign) campaign should be free for at least one day when the one under construction comes out so you pay for the one under construction instead (or just make it free forever, I don't know). But anyways, awesome game.

Just buy it.

Is there only one level in the campaign?Funny and smart. I like the monty python and indiana jones reference, plz add more campaign content, and a co op mode woul be super cool ( that may be asking for too much tho)Definitely worth the dollar, plz make wills campaign free when it comes out.Awesome music guys, plz make some cool updates soon.CONTROL SCHEME, plz consider-Plz add a control scheme where you can slide the screen to look around without shooting then tap the joystick to shoot and look around so u dont have to constantly be switching safety on and off.

Read the description it says what theyll add: multiplayer, more weapons and a longer campaign.But i think that u should just include the riggs campaign and raise the price to two bucks (the price of oliver and riggs' campaign).Also, anyone know how to make a "sandbox environment" account? It wont let me get the riggs campaign because it says i need an account.Anyway, the games real cool, i reccomend it. But i can only beat it on warm panda's milk, which isnt that great for my self esteem XD

I have Battle bears zombies and when I saw this, knew I needed it. I already bought the riggs campaign and am very impressed with the gameplay, especialy the moving that wasn't present in battle bears zombies. However, you should change the controls; it's a waste of ammo to have the aiming button and the fore button combined, especially when trying to look around without using up your rocket launcher!

Ok so this really does have a lot of potential. You need to come out with weapons BEFORE the new campaign. Also make it so you can choseFrom like 5 different bears in survival and make a gummy bear =D Maybe even someCo-op and multiplayer !!Please make the updates come out fast though because I feel like I spent two dollars just to wait for updates. Thank SkyVu for their hard work though. Also, if you are thinking about buying, I would do it because the price is goingTo go up soon and the game is still really fun to play so definitely get it.

All the hard work put into this game shouldn't even be $0.99. Maybe minimum 5 bucks? Dude, just get it. Awesomer graphics, longer gameplay, more bears, difficulty options and more, new characters to play as, etc. Bottom line: awesome. Only problem? The controls made it hard to shoot and move, but you get used to it. Other than that, it REALLY exceeded my expectations. I really want to get that rainbow explosion bear t-shirt as well :]P.S. Can you guys make it easier to turn around? D:

For all of who who played to original Battle Bears, take the epicness of that and multiply it by 5. That is what -1 is. Give the original game free movement, powerups galore, many types of huggables, more boss battles, and place that in a spaceship setting and that is what you get with -1. My only complaint is that the controls are a little too sensitive and it would be nice to have sensitivity options

Battle Bears -1 is the first app I've bought and I'm glad. It feels like a console quality game developed on such an inferior device (iphone). The idea of Battle Bears is demonically cute, what with the bears' life source being rainbows that shoot out of their neck holes when you blow off their heads. Also the bosses are absolutely ridiculous, in a good way. Where the heck does one get the idea for a bear to mutate into a giant octopus with cow udders? Also, nice TMNT reference!Battle Bears -1 reminds me of the old days with the near impossible NES games that were unBEARably (see what I did there?) difficult, but oh so rewarding. Nowadays, these kids don't know what it means to "beat the game." They are given checkpoints, extra lives, health meters, save points, etc. Battle Bears -1 grabs kids by the face, staples their butt to the chair, and teaches them old school style.The controls for the game were decent upon initial release, but had their quirks. The developers listened to their customers complaints, however, and boy did they deliver. Now the game controls way better than before allowing for more enjoyable gameplay, refocusing your frustration from controls to killing (and being killed by) all the darn huggables in the room.One thing I cannot get over is the constant smiling of the bears. It is so creepily cute that I have no problem going "Awwww..." as I blow their heads off. I like that different colored bears do different things. My favorite bears are the green ones that throw their heads which, upon impact, explode into a poisonous gas.The game is amazing in that I can play it forever if I wanted to. Literally. Survival mode allows for me to continuously mow down huggables, get more and more points, and keeps track of my score by submitting it to OpenFeint, a database full of score information. There, I can see how I stack up against other players. That is cool.So overall, SkyVu gets my 100% approval and my five star rating. Keep up the great work. I hope to see many MANY more games in the future.

At first I was annoyed that you changed the controls after I good at the other ones, but it turns out that these are better :DI've played this game so many times, but until the update I didn't stand a chance on hard mode. Now the controls are so much smoother and easier that I've gotten to the Bearzerker (haven't beat him yet on hard). I also found that I can clear more rooms in survival. Obviously the control update made a big difference. Thanks guys!

Clearly this game deserves to be in the top 10 apps. This game is amazing and in my book is only beaten by the first Battle Bears. The people at SkyVu have created two amazing games. There is no way to improve the original Battle Bears but of course there is room to improve on BB-1 since it is new. If SkyVu wanted to sell this game more there would be two things to do. First of all, I and many other people I know have trouble buying in-app purchaces. You guys could make the Riggs upgrade available on the itunes store, like one of the money packs for I-Gun Ultimate. This would make it possible for other people as well as me to buy the Riggs story. Also you should make a classic version in BB-1. The classic version would be just like the original Battle Bears but with new enemy bears, bosses, and guns. The people at SkyVu have outdone themselves with this series and i hope these sugestions get into the updates.

Enlist in one of the epic games from the app store!!!

You got a bear, you got hordes of happy bears trying to hug you to death and you got a machine gun. Any questions? No, I didn't think so. The game developers of Skyvu pictures have created what has been the greatest games I have ever played from the original Battle Bears Zombies to this awesome prequel, with an update lineup that is sure to not disappoint, so if your feeling iffy on whether or not you should purchase this game don't be, the story is great the gameplay is awesome. So what are you waiting for maggot! Enlist in Battle Bears now!

Skyvu just pooped on every other 3-fps shooter in the store, with a 99cent spin off at that. This is an arena shooters dream as far as controls, power ups, fluidity, and overall fun& function. Nothing in the store comes close, not cod nothing. These guys/girls at skyvu have absolutely ridiculous talent, not to add the ability to be extremely funny and witty more so than any other game I've played in the store. Of course we all have come across a game or two that was a real steal, but to ask only 99cents for this game is bonkers, this has to be one of the best games I have played all year, it's like there really is a god, all any like minded person could ever do when playing battle bears "retro" was wish that it wasn't stationary,as fun as it was, there was always that sense of stagnitude. This is going down as a classic in so many ways, and on so many different platforms to come, in short, for any arena shooter, this is the beginning of a gory, but beautiful friendship. You can play your own music too.

some people are woundering why some of these things don't work. listen to me. when u run out of lives u can't resume. u must start over. BUT, it doesn't take that long to get the door where the boss is. after u beat the boss, the campain is over, BUT u get free campain updated! let's say ur in the middle of a game and it crashes or u accedently get out of the game. if u go back, u don't have to start over! u push resume and it resumes to the part it crashed. the controls or hard at first but get used to it shortly. the game fun and long and some people don't even realize it!!!!!!!

I have been waiting ages for BB-1 to come out ond when I finally beat the bearzerker I get returned to the campaign menu I was slighty dissapointed concidering how long Battle Bears: Zombies' campaign was, and I have an idea instead of buying riggs you should have to complete olivers campaign on hard but if some people find it too hard you should also be able to buy him, still a great game but one more note please could you kindly add some more levels to olivers campaign thanks :) rated it 5 star

All that stuff they spoke of would be in updates, they rushed the game out because they had already missed the deadline, plus buying the Riggs campaign means no paying for new campaigns and such. P.S. Plz lower amount of normal sized green huggables ( They always get me from behind) they aren't like the big ones, the big ones give you strategy while normal ones just always seem to murder you when your on your last life. Plus explosions take too much health, I can't even get past 4 rooms

Original Review Posted: I for one am completely and utterly disappointed. I am a big battle bear fan but this really isn't that fun with the controls that don't work well at all. I struggle to shoot anyone with these new controls. Please SKyVu update the controls and I will write another non-scalding review, not trying to be mean just find it hard to enjoy with these controls.And Now: I really appreciate that my opinion was listened to and acted on. Control are now 9/10. But there needs to be more value for money with only one level & boss unless you wish to purchase the expansion pack which I assume is very similar. Thanks SkyVu next update hope to see a few more free levels please keep up the good work!

Everyone calm down get those reviews up I heard on the website of the game that the game is short for 99 cents but they said they will have more updates than the other versions and all updates will be free and say that they will fix te controls and add new stages and new bosses and if you think that I am like a worker I am not I live in the city of where skyvu pics is and they tell us that they will have updates that are big and fun so get those reviews up!

Ok this was a fun game but lots of consPROS-Alot funnier than the firstBetter use of movementChallenging gameplayCONS-Music glitches...ALOTWTF, Riggs is $.99?! And not only that, only difference is, different character and... WAIT AN HUGGABLE THAT TURNS INTO AN OCTOPUS AS A BOSS?! Don't waste $ on Riggs, boss is really wierd and why pay extra when you paid for the whole damn game? Skyvu, if you are reading this, please make Riggs free and give a refund to everyone who bought him he is no different from oliver. PLEASE. If riggs were free,(or do above as said in an update) and fix annoying glitch in music,... 5 stars. I would highly recommend this game, just not Riggs... Unless he's free.This is a fun game, especially if in survival mode, and music rocks... If it'll let you hear it

I love battle bears! I bought the first version and had a blast seeing rainbows shoot out of decapitated bears! However, this second version needs the controls fixed. The guns go off before I can get my aim correct, it's frustrating! But, the animation is hilarious! you guys need to make a cartoon on Adultswim or something! It will be a 5 star game once you get the controls fixed and add levels :)
