I purchased this app quite recently after I had gotten the earlier one, and I am truly impressed. Graphics are great, no crashes other than the slow-motion bits - when you have 100 buccaneers, 10 airplanes, 20 sun gods, and 50 banana republics and you're at level 100 with millions of bloons coming and you put it on fast forward! So fun, so addicting, so much easier than your other one! Oh, and I like how you now use Game Center rather than Openfeint! Great icon, too! Recommend to all at any price under $99.99!

Sadly, as it is right now the game is unplayable due to the severe amount of crashing this game does. I have yet to pass the first level due to the game crashing around level 40. Yes, I have rebooted my ipod touch before playing, and even tried a "hard" reboot to no avail. Don't get me wrong - the game itself is really fun but what use is that when the game crashes so much?If they fix the crashing I will rate the game 5 stars, but right now they clearly rushed the game out for Christmas to cash in without playtesting it enough !!

On top of having dozens of awesome towers and well built maps, this game doesn't drain your iPod touch or iPhone battery that much at all compared to all these other tower defense games. There was only one problem that surprised me though, one round the bloons couldn't get past the first road and then the next round over 200 bloons got past all 7 roads and I died!!! They need an update to fix this because I got to round 108 bit the glitch basically went all the way until round 170!

Only thing really missing is sandbox and apocolypse. plus, as with in the pc version, the tackshooter is USELESS, and the planes are only good for pineapples, as their darts, unlike any other tower, have no targeting sequence. If the darts are supposed to 'block out the sun', then they need to be useful.Also, if you don't have a max rank, or if you do and it's just very high(i'm on rank 43), either have a max, or make it keep going, but either way, please put some kind of gain or goal in the higher ranks. Could be a slight damage increase, or range increases, or even extra maps and perhaps a BloonGod. I'm sure i'm not the only one that realized that once you get all the medals and test them out, there is no incentive to go into freeplay or keep playing at all except to beat your own high score. Of course, that is enticing, but only to a point. But i'm not saying this game isnt great, i just think it needs to have better replayability, because i have maybe 40min only clocked into this thing and as is i doubt it will last 2 hours. My only hope is that the developers read this and work on it.

I like this game, im currently on level 132, but i wish the levels didnt take forever to end my god. as soon as you hit level 100 & it keeps going up & the levels take forever. im so good that my strategy is amazing because the bloons cant even get past the 1st row. im gonna keep paling but i want the bloons to get tougher, its really no competition for me.THANKS 2 THE PEOPLE THAT MADE THE GAME. This app is amazing i had btd original for itouch an it was fun but this just brings it to a new level. In this version there are levels (not stages but level up levels with exp) the higher level the more upgrades you can make to your monkeys. Also they brought the upgrade/cheats from the pc version but insted of buying them you have to beat a certain amount of hard levels. Over all this game is amazing, im addictedBTW IMPORTANTYou may see a a bunch of comments saying it crashes mine has crashed once (and ive played it at least 10 hours) i have the itouch 4 ifthat makes a diffrence in the ammount of crashes.

I have a few recommendations though.First fix the crashing, and you should add some of your own ideas into the game (such as bloons regenerating health if not popped immediately or towers getting tired, or evan an insane difficulty). Another thing I noticed is in the pc version, there is an animation thing the tower does when you place it and that is not in this one. But other than that, I totally love this app.

Haven't had any problems with crashing, I do get the occasional freeze but not very often. I have a 3g. The lag on the higher levels are normal for this game, even on a top end pc there is lag on levels past 100 so I think that's expecting the impossible to expect no lag it on an iPhone. My only complaint is with the monkey cannon that you aim, it's hard to aim in the middle of lots of towers around where you want to aim without choosing another tower, plus if you select the monkey cannon it brings up the sub menu with that getting in the way of where you may want to aim the cannon. Other than that no issues. I would like to see more maps since I already got all gold medels and don't really care for the sandbox becaus of the lag.

U should add sanbox mode from the computer version and also create a track maker from the computer i would pay extra for those modes. Also i have a bug when i put it in sleep mode in the middle of a game and press home twice (so i can stop the music im listening to) the whole ipod freezes and i have to wait for five minutes to play again! Fix that bug and add those modes and it wil be 154657866884488 stars! Otherwise very great game

This is the first review I've ever written and it's because I really love this game. I've always wanted this game on the itouch and it's finally here! It's so cool and fun and just like the online game!BUTIt crashes so bad every few minutes and I have to start all over again. Really stinks cause it's happening so much, ruins the game. Would love to see that get fixed. Other than that really fun game.

I've been waiting for this for a long time and goin to get it for my iPad when I get it for x mas.otherwise the crash happens everynow and then but it's not like an IPod can run a thing like this like it's angry bird.it crashes but not so much where I'm throwing my iPod across the room it only crashes when there's those big hotair balloons and u are speeding it up so u can know when not to speed it up and when u can.overall probley the best app I have on my iPod and future comin iPad.

This is one of the best game Apps I've ever played but i do have and issue!! It seems in the middle of a game it just crashes A LOT. On top of that if you have upgrades active, when you reopen the game and go back to your saved level, upgrades are turned off and you have no choice but to finish the game without your favorite upgrade. Not a huge issue but it is rather irritating to say the least. Maybe the issue can be reloved in an update so in game upgrades dont have to activated ever time u start the game! thanks love all the Bloons games!!!

I love this game, it is challenging, strategic, and most of all fun. however one I get to about round 83, it will start lagging, not bad though. then around 90+, lags so much you can't hardly do anything but watch. it gets extremely bad when I'm over round 100, it will take it atleast 5 minutes for one round. I'm on round 105 or so now, just too much lag, it hasn't crashed on me yet however. overall I would say it is a good game.

I know a lot of you have experienced crashing, here's why: it takes massive energy and battery power from your IPhone to run this specific game. This game has so many little details and features and huge graphics that it over-stimulates the IPhone, thus it crashes.Try plugging your IPhone in, that should help a lot.Sorry to say, the only way to fix the crashing would be to delete a lot of stuff from gameplay.

this game is so awesome... it crashes!!!there is absolutely no lag on the iphone4 on fast mode when heaps of towers spamming. game only crashes because it got too awesome. -crash needs to be fixed-needs a fix on the crash at high levels-crash needs to be fixed-need to get rid of that annoying sign in pop up. it shouldn't ask me everytime I start the game. there is a reason why I didn't sign in the first time, so therefore I will never sign in every other time-crash needs to be fixed-needs a info menu on the towers and bloon-crash needs to be fixed-zoom ability. can't select the right tower because they are all squashed together-crash needs to be fixed- :)-crash needs to be fixed

It's exactly, EXACTLY like the computer version. However, when you get to have MANY balloons and MANY towers, the game gets slow and sometimes crashes. (however, you can just reopen the app and continue your game). While this isn't a developer issue, it's a matter of iPods processing power, so it's unfixable. Turn of wifi (airplane mode) and low screen brightness to maximize performance of this game.

Good game. Well executed with iOS 4 support and game saves.Works well on iPod format. Same game as Bloons TD4 on the computer, and this has more levels.Does not include mochigames upgrades.However, it crashes constantly and needs to restart. It doesn't affect the game as it can be resumed to the point right before it crashed. Also, lags a lot on later levels (70+).It seems to crash at points where lots is going on. But sometimes it doesn't seem to matter, ad crashes anyway.Also, an iPad version would be amazing ;)I'm on iPod touch 64gb 3rd gen.
