People who whinge about the controls.., just adjust them in the settings by turning "auto" on and off. The controls are excellent without accelerometer for normal play and with accel for buggy. This game rocks!! Saves every few new targets and unlimited life. Great sound. Great graphics. And best of all you interact with the mission giving many options for attack, meaning you can complete mission many different ways. 10 out of 10!!!

overall great package but a little too short (about 150 minutes total)
Control Scheme #2 is just LIKE CONTROLLING GEARS OF WAR or HALO: theres a "control stick" on the bottom left and right, the left one controlling front and back movement and the right one to shift your view to te left or right (just like and Xbox or Playstation controler). Then, there are 2 buttons on top of the "control sticks" that are used to shoot. THAT SIMPLE.

Good game overall, it's a lot of fun to play and there is an actual campaign. The controls are pretty good but they seem a little sloppy. That could probably be fixed with an update. The graphics are pretty good too but not the best I've seen on the iPhone. They could have made the game look a lttle better but it still looks great. This game has a few flaws but none of them make me regret buying it. This is a great game and if you like shooters it's a must buy!

Wow. What an amazing game for the iphone and ipod touch. I am soooooo excited that they finally came out with a console based shooter! First off, the graphics are fairly good. Not extremely well done but not bad. Secondly the gameplay is totally awsome! You get to drive tanks, use bazookas, and set charges just like in the console game. Thirdly, the contlrols are cool. You can choose from three types, one of which uses the basic joystick setup of video games: one for movement and another for view. So it feels like you are using a controller too! Overall this is a great game for people looking to step it up a notch.

I found this game exceedingly entertaining, and definetly worth the money. The game is quite complex and the controls can be a bit hard to use, but for use on such a small device it is worth every penny. The levels are hard, I have beaten the game on all the difficulties, but I still play it from time to time because they levels dont take an extremely long time to complete, so you can space them out over time. I think this game is defenitly worth the money.

This is very well done. I know a lot of people prefer tilt controls but after playing this a while, I prefer the default controls on this game. This game is such a great shooter. It takes a little getting used to moving around with a on screen analogue stick but it works very well. I would highly recommend this game as a shooter as well as just a great game. Don't let the comparison to Kroll or Star Wars hold you back.... This game is NOTHING like those, it is MUCH better. This game will boost the iPhone further as a legit gaming platform. Good work GameLoft!

I think that this game is the best game in the app store so far. People say that the controls are really difficult, but it really didnt take me that long. There was only one level I had trouble with, and that was with that one vehicle. You have to use a steering wheel, and it was pretty hard for me. But once you start playing, its amazing. The graphics, the gameplay, just everything! This is just like a psp game. Its AMAZING. Just buy it, its expensive but its worth it. To me, its worth over $20.

This game does not impress me. The controls are solid and work well. however the game is get from point a to point b. You do this for many levels, which gets very repetitive. Because of the lack of variety this game gets boring. The graphics may look good and are easy on the eyes, but the thrills will not last forever. If you want a hardcore, intense experiance. Get Terminator Salvation. The gameplay is great, you can drive a car, drive a motorcycle, play as 2 different charactors and save the world. It's better looking than this game and features destructable environents as well as solid controls. That game has variety. If you want a game that's fun for a few good hours get brothers in arms. If you want a fantastic game, get Terminator Salvation. Brothers in arms gets a 1 out of 5. There are better game out there.

I love this game alot especcialy since I love cod, it needs multiplayer. I think I may of broken the record I beat the game in 1hour and 13 minutes wayyyyyyy to easy, the hardest difficulty is vetern I believe I beat it in a little under 2 hours!!!! Come on I know you guys can do better than that. More missions is a must. I think this game would be number one if it had multiplayer. I know this is may be hardTo do but mabey u can make it to where we can make our own maps. Thank you for your time

This Game will Probably go down to 5.99 in mabey 6-9 months you got 10$ woohoo but you don't want to buy a 10$ game so sure buy it, later...there it is 5.99 wow you've got ten dollars again, but a new awsomer game for 10$ is available what to you do? As soon as I saw this game and took along look at it boom! I had to have it. No its not my favorite game, but do I regret buying it?...... Yeah I probably shouldve got that gay 10$ take care of your dog app. PSYCH!!!

Visually this game is a 5 star title. BUT there are a couple things that force me to detract a star: -Controls need to be smoother -Driving vehicles can be frustrating at times -I feel clostrophobic sometimes with the lack of viewable action; maybe zoom out a bit so the player can see more? -Camera angles can sometimes go behind the player into walls and bushes. Those issues aside, this is a very playable and very fun game. Definitely worth $10

I love this game. It's fun, challenging, and the graphics are fantastic. Sometimes the controls are a bit off the mark, and at a couple of places (so far) there are some defects trapping your man in a wall or a tank, but they can be overcome with restarts. One of my pet peeves is games where the game moves the controls for you, helping the player. This one does it, but just a little bit. If you get your sights in the area of a target, it seems it will take the cue and put the sights right on your target. Some poorer games do this incessantly! Overall this is an awesome game! Highly recommended!

I've never had a proplem wit any app wit my phone before please fix it plus I spent 10 bucks that's the most i ever spent on an app but I went for it since all I heard was good things from these people, I could of got me some tacobell and would of been really full, I read every single review saying it's da best and stuff but there were sum that said they were having this same proplem, I didn't belive them I just didn't want to cuz it couldn't of happen to me but guess what it did I didn't know how to react when I saw all this happing, when you start the game it just goes to the title sceen of da game name, then a few seconds later it just goes to a black screen forever I had a panic attack and tried everything from spitting and yelling at my iPhone but it just don't want to listen PLEASE GAMESOFT if you can PLEASE oh PLEASE fix this bug and bring hope to this, I tried everything from restarting the app after I install, 2 reinstalling, I promise from the bottom of my heart I'll change me star to 5 but what does that matter to you you say? cuz your a 4 star app already but trust me baby go for the 5 ^.^ PLEASE LOOK INTO IT FOR THE LITTLE PEOPLE we still LOVE YOU :-*

This is definitely one of the best game on iPhone. Well worth the price. Think about it guys, if you buy this game on a console, how much more expensive would it be! And this definitely offers a console exerience. Controls are all perfect except the jeep, an update on the control would be appreciated. Also, the enemies are a bit too easy, it would be better if it can be made harder. Aside from these minor issues, this game is exceptionally brilliant!

This needs a couple of fixes. How is it that you can just die when nothing is firing? Kinda stupid!! Also, there has been two times when I have walked near a friendly tank and it has held me there...so I had to reload the checkpoint!! It was so annoying!! But besides that... a great game!!! Lots of fun and great controls. It reminds me a lot of Medal of Honor. This is great... But it needs a couple bug fixes. Please update!!!!!

what's with all the complaints about it not starting? I can only speak for myself, but with my ipod it worked perfectly and I didn't need to restart my ipod or anything. and my iPod is jailbroken too. and in my experience, I have found no problems with the controls. This is a great game and I highly reccomend it. Think about it, you would pay about $50 for this for the xbox or something so I would not hesitate to pay $10 for such a high quality game.

Okay, this is gonna be my longest review....... CONS The graphics arnt good The price is high. Should be about $5.99 You can only pick up guns that you have to in order to complete the mission. Hard to control at first. (I would stay to the first control layout) No storyline at all. (but I just really care about killing guys and beating the game) PROS The game is great You start off with a good gun (Thomson) Driving tanks and jeeps are easy to control Passes time real well Saves game if you get a call or exit to home screen. ( you just have to go to missions at the bottom, then your difficulty, and then the mission. ) Has 3 difficulties, Normady(normal), a weird name (medium), another weird name(hard) If it's hard to control, you can change it so you can have 1 anolog stick to move and swipe the screen to turn around and aim, 1 anolog stick to move and touch where you want to look or aim (you have to touch exactly where or your aimer won't be on the guy and you won't be able I shoot him), or 1 anolog stick to move and 1 anolog stick to look around and aim.

This game rocks!! I first got the free version of this and I was like,"Ive gotta play the whole thing!" So i got the full version and it was just as i thought it would be .All you have to do is follow the directions and the controls are easy. You get to unlock 13 places and choose from a variety of weapons like: bazookas, grenades, Thompson (machine gun),BAR (machine gun), sniper rifles, or an M1 Grand (granade launcher). This game is the best. I give it an A+.

A brilliant game, easily worth the price. If anyone has only got the free version of this game, the first level (Normandy - Crossing Corners) doesn't just end with shooting the sniper up in the tower - there's still loads more to do. I spent up to 20 minutes on some levels, so having only 13 of them isn't really that bad at all. The virtual analog stick and side buttons gives a great games console feel to it, and makes full use of the features the iPod touch has. Sequel? Please give us one!
