Flawless. Great game. The feel of simplistic, modern, stick pwning gameplay is still alive. To the people wanting 360 angled controls just buy a frkin ps3. The fact that the game retains a simple column shooting style with complexed gaming is great.Not only that but I find it takes skill to move and fire on position rather than standing around moving your finger in a circle.I bought this because of CW, now I find myself playing this and CW

Such an addictive game!.....--its not one of those games that you can jst play in a few hours then get bored at, this is one game that you need more than a day to finish!--One thing tho.....the moving pad is kinda dodgy.....lyk u hav to keep your thumb just within the circle or else the stick dude will jst stay in one place......please fix this up! Moving pads such as the gamelofts games are a good example..... But over all......nice game! Id also recommend Zenonia....super cool game too!

Well after finding myself playin cartoon wars: gunner for about 5 hrs straight I can say without any regret that this game is very fun and addictive. It also helps kill time (ie: a plane ride around the world, lol) even after unlocking and maxing everything out I still find it fun and sometimes challenging. The GUI is simple and easy to navigate through and to use. I've read that some people have had issues with the control pad for moving which I admit was a little rough at first but is nothing to go crazy over like some people are. The weapons are fun and unique but I do hope a weapons pack would be released to add to the creative and fun destruction we make. Overall I give this app 5/5 and can see much added content in the future.

This game is very fun and the upgrades are reasonably priced and pretty balanced. If you spend your money wisely the game can seem almost easy, I'm past 60 and still not too hard to play. It's addicting once you get some of the better weapons. CONTROLS are not that bad. Easy to get used to and I have only had a few times where I couldn't control them exactly how I wanted to. I'm not even sure of another way to make the controls for this gameNote to devs: if you make new controls please leave the option to keep the originals.

idk wut the other people are complaining about the controls are very easy to figure out and are responsiveIt isnt that hard unless you turn up the difficulty and if you die, you just can redo it with out losing anything in fact you keep to gold you won the round you lostIt doesnt that long to get ur first gun like other people saidI think alot of people missed the stats upgrade tab next to the weapons upgrade tab, it makes it alot easier and helps you get more gold if you upgrade the stats too There are a good ammount of enemies and are varried in the animations and types of attacksover all great game

This is an amazing game which was well worth the 0.99 sale price. Several suggestions I could make though would include perhaps unique abilities for weapons, (poison arrows or something) along with status ailments and 'stages for each weapon- for instance, the bow could turn into a crossbow when you upgrade it a certain amount. The movement could use a few tweaks, but i love the shooting button that let's you shoot in either direction. I'm still going to give this game five stars though because it is still in it's first version. Keep it up!P.S.- I realize this is becoming quite lengthy... But you could also allow the actual stickman himself to be visibly upgraded, aside from hp/mana increase etc. Bosses, terrain, etc would be good, and perhaps the option to turn on/off how much damage you do and hp bars for enemies, although this may well get quite cluttered with groups of enemies. All this would end up being a major overhaul of the game but it would help lol. Great game!!!

I rate this 5/5Although.. there are some things i think should be improved..1 - I think you should be able to move around while attacking with sword. I hate having to stand in one place while attacking, that is why i got rid of my bow so fast...2 - More weapons... Once i unlocked everything i felt abit sad, since there was really nothing more to get... Maybe add flamethrower, chainsaw, grenades, SMG (aside from the dueled uzies).. etc.3 - Maps, i think more unqiue maps should be added, i dont like having to battle in the same flat area, i want terrain, hills, walls, etc....4 - Bosses? possibly add levels or a 'boss mode', where you fight giant dragons and such which have giant amounts of hp and have unique abilities...5- Multiplayer... I feel that the game should have some sort of multiplayer mode.Overall, i think the game is great, but much can be done to make it even better...

This game rocks! Quit yer namby pamby whining about the name being misspelled or being able to shoot while running. Hold a fire direction down and run around... It's repetitive yes, but so are many other leveling type games. The difference is this ones hilarious!! Tooons of different monsters and dudes to kill. It gets a bit chaotic up in the levels above 100 but you should be geared up to deal with it. I haven't noticed much difference in change of stats while playing after upgrading is my only complaint. Can't wait for more games like this. Buy it! You won't regret spending a buck.

This game is a nice sequel to cartoon wars, the music is cool, and the graphics aren't half bad. Controls need working on, and having to shoot exactly in line with the enemy?!? That's a little low-grade don't you think? Survivor mode Waves of enemie Power ups like slow enemies Enemies drop wepons and skills like thunderAlso explain what skills do, and put some kind of limit on wepon upgrades so u don't keep blindly upgrading them. I am almost certain that u shhot a rocket launcher faster while running...... Please fix that when my iPod says I have low battery, please make the game pauseMake guns look different when you upgrade!!!!!! Can't be that hardOther than that.... Loved the game! best game ive played right next to ZENONIA! controls are fine an u get loads of weapons. here's some tips:-dont forget to upgrade your stats too it took me a while to realize u can-get the first gun asap since u can run and shoot with it unlike the arrow-the bow and arrows u cannot run with it seems-try to have distance between u and enemies at all time aslo to Tageuer07: what do u mean u mean it takes 200000.. hours to get the first gun? it took me to lv 3 in about 10 minutes

Ok so I am a huge fan of the original CW, and i was playing it at my friends house on my iTouch and he said "You know I have wi-fi right?" and i opened it and noticed an update for CW. i downloaded update but then went into app store and searched for CW tos ee what the update was and I saw this. I instantly bought it without even knowing what it was about. I love it and it is a great spin off of an already great game. 5 out og 5 for arcade style graphics. I didn't think it would be this amazing.

A shooter worth buying! You have a big area filling with enemies, and you have the power of guns, and upgrades on your side. Upgrades work with gold, and gold gets you a ton.My only complaint is that this game expects you to dump all your time in this to get good weapons. Things are way too pricey. If you play it safe, and save your money it means little to know upgrades which leads to being over powered by the enemies. The game almost forces you to play spending as much as possible, or dying. Earning that 80 thousand $ weapon will take an unfair amount of time to get to.

This is a game where u get to be the obe person killing alot of ppl for ur country or whatever. It's not to hard: if ur stuck, keep playing that level and lose and u get some money to upgrade ur wepon or buy a new one. U can also upgrade ur states hp and lots of stuff. I can tell you this AWESOME Get it or I will.............turn into that cool robot thing and kill u!!! Lol it's s cool robot tho but just get it! . PLEASE KEEP THIS ON SALE FOR CHRISTMAS DAY!!!!! I wanna get it for my big bro. I think

I have never written a review for an app before, but I was compelled to with this one, because it's so good. Very fun, very addictive, very stable, brilliant, smooth graphics and good sound. Some people say it's too hard, but there are three difficulty settings, and I'm fine with all three. The controls take no getting used to - they are smooth and perfect. There is never any jittery play, even with lots on the screen at once. It's also very simple and easy to understand.The only downside is that there seems to be only one background track, which gets a bit annoying after you hear it over and over again. But I expect in future versions, new music will be included.Also, 59p is an absolute bargain.

In cartoon wars gunner, like many others have stated, I was able to beat the game in 2-3 days; however, that does not mean that the game wasn't enjoyable. The combination of gun and skill udgrades with the constant addition of new enemies drew me in. Although I sit now with another spacetaker on my app screen, I believe that CWG deserves to make number 1 in the top 25 chart and in turn give it a 5 star rating.

I'm rating this after about 5 minutes of playing. The gameplay seems fun and adequately in depth, even though I've only scratched the surface. I see several problems quickly arising, though. The fire button likes to shoot in the opposite direction it says it is, leading to times when i've shot opposite of the enemies, though it hasn't caused any life-threatening problems in the game. Overall, controls could use a smoothing over, too. Graphics seem typical of BLUE, as they're not horrible, but could look much, much better. I guess that's why it's called Cartoon Wars. The aiming system is also kind of fuzzy and could use a laser sight or something, just so you're not constantly shooting into thin air. Also, the AI likes to sit just outside of the line of fire of your gun as they move towards you and cheaply hit you without you hitting them. We'll see if that becomes a major problem later in the game...Overall, a solid 4/5 with hopes of improvement.

Great game. I really like how you made a side scrolling shooter. Novel idea. But there could be some improvements. Many of the skills seem exceedingly similair, with the fire, lightning, and bomb all just doing damage all over the map. Some variation there would be nice. And the sword is a good addition, but the combo's it does seem to be totally random. So some insteuctions there would be nice. Overall great, fun game.

This is a great game. Graphics are great and there are a lot of upgrades. Good stuff... Just a few things: * In the title screen, Cartoon is spelled "Catoon."* The weapons cooldown should be reset at the beginning of each stage. * The active weapon appear to heat up even if not firing it. It should only heat up if I actually shoot it, and it should slowly cool off if I'm not firing it. Right now I have to switch weapons to get it to cool down.* Some bosses every 10 or so levels would be nice.* The help screen shows a weapon cooler active skill, however it doesn't seem to be used in the game.For people having problems with contol: The fire button is actually two buttons, an arrow pointing the the right, and an arrow pointing to the left. Pressing the right arrow will fire right and pressing the left arrow fires left. Firing direction is independant of moving direction. You can fire right while moving left, etc. The bow doesn't allow you to move while firing, so upgrade as soon as possible.There's an upgrade tab for other skills besides the weapons. Don't forget to upgrade them too! As of this review, max weapon upgrade is 10 and max skill upgrade is 50. I was fully maxed on weapons and skills by stage 180'ish.

Well, I read other reviews and I don't see much of a problem with the controls (the joystick). I personally like the 2 way shooting control to give the game the classic feeling. Although what would be better is if an update would create the following:-different control types for optimal gaming experience-blutooth private match or versus mode (also for online play supported only by wifi)-weapons only overheat if shooting and not just if you have it currently equiped-create different branches of the selected weapons (ex. you can choose to level up the staff AND different powers it can use like from fire shots to fire waves and ice shots to ice waves etc.)-add in more custimizable skill powers
