Absolutely wonderful game! By: The Enforcer117 - Sep 23, 2009 Version: 001 This game ROCKS!!! I've been trolling the app store looking for some more good physics-based games, I happened upon this one and I'm glad I took the risk of buying before trying. I do wish that the camera could have been better but that's not a deal breaker, at least not for me. I only hope they come out with some more levels in an update cuz I'm dyin' to crush some more castles! Anyways, i highly recommend this game to anyone that enjoys a fun and addicting physics-based game. P.S. Awesome job on the musical score and I love the magic bottle you get once you get all gold medals on all of the levels. Very nice touch!
You've outdone yourselves By: OhItsJustJose - Oct 4, 2009 Version: 001 This game had alot more features in it than your online version. As an update, I would suggest:- a challenge mode where you have to crush a castle with a specific ammo type. Example: get gold crushing this caste with 3 small rocks in 3 tries. - add another map with more castles like it's been suggested here.- Head to head competition based on a build your own castle or a castle that was preselected.- New game plus. Why? Why not?Awesome work however. It may be short but it's addicting!
One of my new favorite games! By: Robertez - Oct 16, 2009 Version: 001 This game is amazing! I got a few days ago and love it!!!!!! Very creative gameplay, cool graphics, and funny castle crushing action. Here is a list of pros and cons of this game:Pros:FunChallengingCreativeFunnyCool weaponsCastle creatorNice background imagesCool musicCons:ShortNot enough levelsCastle creator tough to usA little easy at timesCan get repetitiveA little expensive for the amount of contetHere are some ideas for possible future updates:More weaponsMore levelsMaybe moving enemiesCreated castle sharingSome type of scoring system for high scoresOption to turn music offEnemies fight backOther types of catapultsEnemies die too easilyEnemies can hold up a lot of weight and don't bend or become crushed under pressureThis is a very good game. I will lose interest in game unless more content is added. I have already beat the full game and have only had it for a few days, but will play it a while longer unless updated.
More Levels please By: victoriousnow - 31-Oct-2009 Version: 001 I've finished this game already - not enough levels. Extremely enjoyable. What is needed is an infinite level or at least 1,000 levels to keep us going. Going for the 1 shot doesn't really appeal to me or make the game feel any replayable for me so I would like to have many more levels SOON. I love the game and want MORE please NOW. A terrific way to pass time so please don't keep us waiting. Also difficulty levels might be worth a try. For instance at higher difficulties you get less shots or less effective weapons but again that can also apoil a good game. More levels would be ideal.
An enticing and addicting game! By: An app store reviewer - Sep 29, 2009 Version: 001 As with all Armor Games the quality of gameplay Is great smooth graphics in addition to quality physics match this game perfectly. Though most likely not to be played through in one sitting, it is very addicting. Gameplay was entertaining as well as challenging on some castles. Overall this game proves to be challenging, fun and quality as expected. Overall score:Graphics: 7Gameplay: 8Fun Rating: 9Total: 8 MASSIVE SWIRLING VORTEX OF DOOM!!!
It makes me feel flambouyant By: Sum random dude - Oct 5, 2009 Version: 001 After bieng obsessed wit this game online for weeks I found this while browsing the app store. After playing for nearly an hour and a half I had already beaten the game and gotten one shot on all the castles ( thanks to that magic potion) and then realized that it was over this would be a five star game (to me) if it would only last longer. In my opinion, make a second with at least 75 different crushable castles
Amazing! except for one thing By: Saister - Sep 20, 2009 Version: 001 As I'm sure lots of people were, I was really excited when I found out Crush the Castle came to the iPhone/iPod Touch. They've really translated it over beautifully. Extremely smooth graphics, new levels, and I'm loving the medal system. You can take as many shots as you want to try to bring a castle down but you have to take it down with a certain number of shots if you want a gold, silver, or bronze medal. I have one complaint about the game and it's actually affected the gameplay greatly in my opinion, and that's the fact that instead of having a stationary camera that rests on your trebuchet until you are done firing the iPhone version actually has the camera that follows your projectiles even when they are still attached to the trebuchet. This means that while you are concentrating on releasing the shot at the right time, the camera is constantly moving which makes it extremely difficult and frustrating. It would have been so much better if they would have kept the stationary camera as in the flash version. Overall a good game, but that one fault is very hard for me to overlook.
The pros and cons By: Apfhoto - Oct 14, 2009 Version: 001 Here's the deal: the game is alot of fun-it's very enjoyable to knock down the castles. However the problem is that the game is too easy- there are 50 levels and each one takes under a minute (the game can take literally a half hour). The game creators realized this and they therefor added into the game gold medals which are earned upon destroying the castle in one shot (in most cases) the game therefor takes longer to beat since one tries collecting all 50 gold medals. This would all be swell if not for one problem and that is that as you advance into the game you earn more powerful artillery- upon earning this you may use it in any level you choose. So it comes out that once you've earned the highest level of artillery it is more than easy to earn all 50 gold medals and therefor defeats the purpose of them. In my humble opinion the creators shouldn't let you use any artillery you don't get originally in the levels when you are playing for the medals. All in all it is a fun game and definitely worth the two bucks!!
Really Great, but... By: Edwin P. - Oct 17, 2009 Version: 001 Two of the fourth world levels are EXTREMELY HARD!!! One is called "Town Hall" and the other one I can't remember the name, but there are two knights underneath two metal beams on one and there is another knight and the king behind them. THESE I HAVE TRIED A MILLION TIMES!!! MY RECORD IS 59 THROWS TO BEAT TOWN HALL!!! Some of the levels are just really, really, hard... Please provide in game tips or something on the hard ones.
Catapult + Evil Castle + A Really Big Hand = Lots Of Destructive Awesomness! By: Shredster7 - Oct 25, 2009 Version: 001 Crush The Castle's main goal lies in the title: take your catapult and lay siege to every enemy castle in all the land! The REAL challenge lies in getting all the gold medals. of course, smashing 50 pre-made castles, plus nine more of your own, make a good game as is, and the unlockable weapons get pretty good as the game progresses. $2.00 may seem a bit much, but when new updates come, this game will defenetley be worth it.

Good but needs a little more By: app mastah - Oct 19, 2009 Version: 001 I love this type of game on pc. Many copies of it out on the web. One iPhone version. People were paying the $2 to be able to play this anywhere and also support this company.here are some good points-50 levels of increasingly challenging castles to crush.-Medal system to try to crush in as little shots as possible.-Good physics for the most part.-8 types of artillery that you gain as you progress.and special reward for all gold medals.a potion that creates an awesome portal that if aimed correctly will usually take out every person.-Easy gameplay anyone can do.-Create your own castle system. Some not so good points:-50 levels is kind of short. It can ve beaten pretty fast.-Once u get all gold medals the potion is mostly pointless.-Sometimes the catapult glitches and u have to reset-The create your own castle feature is pretty hard and lining up parts isn't so easy. Many small pieces are almost impossible to select and the walls need to be like 96% perfectly aligned to support weight. Those are the problems I see. Some things that can be added are:A way to share creates castles(duh. You can't include a "make your own" feature in a game without being able to share it)or make downloadable player packs like on the pc--more levels and artillery of course--More parts for building castles--possibly a shop feature where you earn money for how good you do on castles and cash to buy more weapons and castle building supplies.Othrwise that's it. It's still a good game!Hope you makeMore iPhone ports armorgames!!
The best game on the iPhone!!! By: Coolio76 - 04-Oct-2009 Version: 001 I absolutly loved this game! I tried the lite version first and was hooked. It's so much fun and you have to use your head to work out the best way to destroy the targets. I loved the phisics used as things react to being hit in a realistic way. The level editor is fun but a little tricky to master but works perfectly. The only downside is there aren't that many levels so it's completed to quickly, please please please make an update with tons of levels! I would of given it 5 stars if it had more castles to crush! All in all I would recomend this totaly it's ace :-)
True to the online version By: ShedDweller - 04-Oct-2009 Version: 001 Clean and works well. Would prefer the emphasis be taken off getting the one perfect shot, and more on a strategy/problem solving- shots at different parts of structure weakening it before the coup de grace. Would make the game longer.Final weapon looks spectacular, but way too slow. Prefer the online ending with mega explosives- you feel like attacking all the castles again to see the total carnage.Love the "fighting back" and "rest in pieces" levels - very clever!
Awsome By: D.J E.K - 09-Dec-2009 Version: 001 Great game, here are some ideas I came up with:1. New levels, probably a world map2. Achievements3. Probably a shop to buy new catapaults or stronger boulders4. And maybe an arcade to burn some time.I'm looking forward to further updates!
To Crush or not to Crush By: SkyDivingDanny - Sep 18, 2009 Version: 001 The iPhone game captures and expands on the brillant flash game. I'm a fan! Ps. The music is absolutely fantastic and the physics are spot on.
Highly addictive and fun By: lroot - Sep 18, 2009 Version: 001 Great graphics and physics. Building your own castles can become quite addictive.
Awesome quick fun! By: alljeffedup - Sep 18, 2009 Version: 001 I don't know what it is, but I just want to CRUSH the castle and take out all the people until I get knighted and become lord by my king. Easy to pick up where you left off and very easy to control. I really enjoyed the game and music. Another great game produced by Armor Games. Would recommend.
Free By: IPeppermint - Sep 19, 2009 Version: 001 I got this app for free from armorgames. And I also played this online. I just beat it with all gold medals. I cannot wait for more!!

YES! By: Catti-Brie - Sep 21, 2009 Version: 001 I LOVE the flash game. Now I can play it on my iTouch all day!? SWEET!
