The faster you complete each of the 50 levels, the more bonus points you receive. The physics in Enigmo are truly amazing to watch! This is one of the most unique puzzle games ever created. Reviews:
Sigh By: asdfkjlss - Dec 4, 2008 Version: 1.2 This is a fantastic and challenging puzzle game for the iphone, it's a shame that a lot of people give it bad reviews because of the price drop...
Of course prices are going to fall, and there are always going to be sales... it was genius of them to do so because they now have 4-5 apps in the top 25. Quit your complaining customers who payed $10, you got the game 4 months sooner, we got it for less.
Great games Pangea!
A truly fantastic puzzle game By: Raygan - Dec 4, 2008 Version: 1.2 I've played a number of puzzle games on the App Store, and so far this is the best one. Most other puzzle games for the iPod/iPod Touch are of the basic "falling blocks" type, with some variation on the rules for variety. These are fun, and have their place. This game, however, is a masterpiece. Like "The Incredible Machine" of old school PC gaming fame, this game involves using a set number of components to create a Rube Goldberg type machine to get an object from point A to point B; in this case bouncing a stream or several streams of water droplets though several obstacles to their destination. Though the game makes good use of 3D graphics (it looks quite spiffy!) it has the sense to stick to a 2D gameplay mechanic, which makes the game feel both old-school and strikingly new. It makes excellent use of the touch screen as well, using pinch gestures for zooming, and having an excellent interface for placing and rotating puzzle elements. This is definitely one of the best things offered on the App Store. I can't believe this is a cell phone game!
More than a bargain at this price By: Kegori - Nov 19, 2008 Version: 1.2 Just completed all 50 levels but I want more! Maybe an update with more levels, tools and music that goes along with the game. I did notice around level 48 that there was a noticeable slowing in processing speed, I'm guessing because there were millions of drops everywhere and the iPhone just can't handle that much yet. Great puzzle game, kind of like lemmings but with water. Very fun but I want more!!! Do an update adding all the stuff I asked for and I would pay another .99 to a $1 for it.
Awesome Game By: Kevin M-B - Dec 4, 2008 Version: 1.2 For me, this is easily the most entertaining and most challenging iPhone game I bought so far.
The graphics are good, the controls are great and the concept is simply amazing.
Overall, well worth the money and a very well designed puzzle game. (Even better: You can play it whenever, wherever.)
Too bad I just finished level 50, now I'll be bored (haha). Oh yeah, it gets alot harder after level 41 in my opionion.
And to those saying it's too hard for 13-16 year olds, I'm 14 myself.
A great game By: neilp44 - Dec 4, 2008 Version: 1.2 What is amazing is the fact that I have spent more time playing this game than many games on other platforms. This means Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. It is an addicting game. One minor complaint is the reliance of speed for points. I am going through it the first time and without knowing the feel of the map...I would probably have very few points. As the puzzle sets get more complicated...I've often had to rearrange everything because one piece would work better in another place.
Exceptionally designed puzzle game By: blueblanket - Nov 17, 2008 Version: 1.2 Beautiful and intriguing game. Very impressive. One of the best I've played on the iPod and well worth the price. Increasing difficulty, each puzzle builds on the "lessons" of the previous one, and lots of levels (50+ I believe) providing plenty of challenge, but often frustrating due to the limited screen size of the iPod. Game allows for zoom in/out which helps, but portrait format is very limiting in this small size in the complex higher levels. It would be advisible to add a landscape option in future updates to alleviate the limitations of size. Overall, terrific! Highly recommend!
Now with instructions! By: AdamInKent - 25-Jul-2008 Version: 1.0.1 This is a fantastic puzzle game. Instructions can be found under the "INFO" option off of the main screen (select "HELP"). Alternatively, by clicking the support link in iTunes. Both lead you to a PDF document which explains how the game works. The game's interface operates as you would expect on an iPhone - you can even zoom in and out. And when you zoom in, the level of detail is superb: oil and water drops change shape as they hit things and water fizzes as it fries on force-fields. This is a fun game which is highly recommended, especially if you enjoy physics based puzzle games.
For all the people complaining... By: opossumsareawesome - Aug 31, 2008 Version: 1.1.2 When you buy something, it can still go on sale, so you should seriously not complain over it. When you purchase something for a high price, you should always expect the person(s) or the developer(s) to lower the price.
I do not own this game. I plan on buying it soon, though. I think it is worth $9.99 based off of the videos/reviews of it I have seen; So I am going to buy it when the sale goes away, and update this review with a real review of the game.
Fascinating By: Roy White - May 21, 2009 Version: 2.0 I've played this game for hours. I'm 48 years old and fast paced reaction type games bore me immediately. This game makes you think about angles and the properties of gravity and so on. So worth 99 cents. The user created levels are INSANELY hard and fun. If I had a MAC I would buy this game for my home PC but it's not available for PC's My Son (who is a genius) loves this game too and is always sneaking my phone from me to play it. We've had alot of good times discussing how to beat some of the advanced levels. I'll be playing this game for months.
Highly recommended By: InsaneWone - 23-Jul-2008 Version: 1.0.1 This game is highly addictive. If you remember the Lemmings, you will be familiar with how this game works. Each level is a cleverly designed puzzled with usually more than one solution. The graphics are excellent and there is no apparent slowdown as there are more items on the screen. The way it's been adapted to the iPhone/iTouch is also clever - it doesn't apprear to be a straight port and the developers have put some effort into thinking though the interface options.

Clever puzzle game. By: Indyfan63 - Nov 16, 2008 Version: 1.2 I'm up to level 38 and love this game. Graphics and user input are very clever. One negative would be that the levels don't consistently increase in difficulty. Some of the early ones are pretty hard like #11 which a lot of people seem to get stuck on. I was one for while. I remember #18 as also being difficult while some of the later levels seem really easy. Don't let that stop you at the $1.99 price this is well worth it.
Excellent game By: annbous - Nov 16, 2008 Version: 1.2 This might be the most bang for the buck game on iPhone/touch so far. I spent several quality hours, feeling very satisfied after competing each level. The level counter on the upper left corner seems to have room for 3 digits, so I was a bit surprised to see "you won" after level 50. Hope there will be an update of more levels. By the way, I did notice in more than one levels that the stream would behave a little bit different between zoomed in and zoomed out views, especially when it is just barely making it - if you love this game, you know what i mean. Again, excellent game! Good job!
Best game on iPhone By: Fritz - 19-Jul-2008 Version: 1.0 Most games are fun for maybe half an hour, but then I get bored with them. After trying all the top 10 paid games, this game, and "dizzy bee", were the only games with lasting appeal. It would have been nice if there were more hints or instructions, but I still feel it was intuitive enough for me not to knock of a star from my rating. Very very clever idea, the levels get tricky very fast but the whole thing is interesting enough to keep you trying.
Brilliant By: leemcg - Jul 22, 2008 Version: 1.0 This is the best game I have downloaded from the App Store. It is really showing some super longevity - but that may be because I'm not so good. Getting 1 or 2 levels done on the way to work. Am still only on level 26, plenty more to go. One thing not mentioned enough is that this game doesn't turn off your iPod like most seem to, so you can have your own music. Minor negatives on the control method - you do sometimes rotate when you mean to move, or vice versa, but it's all small stuff.
Best Game yet By: Wakakanada - 25-May-2009 Version: 2.0 It's true if you enjoy intellectual gaming. This is clearly intended for the adult audience although teens could like it too. Good use of logic and physics. While there are a few glitches such as icon tools occassionally disappearing, physics changing a bit on different magnification, etc., all of these are rendered irrelevant compared to the fun and playability. You can enjoy this in 5 minute intervals, saving your place between puzzles, or play for a longer period without getting bored. I find over 30 minutes too long but was my favorite pastime during a recent air trip. Five stars irrespective of price, but I bought it at $1.99 and really it's a no brainer at that price...GET IT!
Remarkable! By: Laserius - Dec 15, 2008 Version: 1.2 I love it when people give a game a low rating simply because they can't figure it out.
What a great idea for a game! If you like challenging puzzles and/or are visually oriented and like games that use geometry (billiards is a good example) then you will love this.
The game makers are most certainly familiar with Animusic - many similarities. The graphics and sound fx are wonderful. The controls need some refining and landscape view would be nice for certain puzzles.
It seems on some levels, after you get your tools set perfectly at the top of a puzzle then move to the bottom the flow seems to change and alter movement through the puzzle. However, if you move back to the top the flow seems to return to normal. That said I am confident the programmers will have an update with these refinements soon!
Well done Pangea - keep up the good work!
One of My Favorite Apps By: watchmefly - Dec 3, 2008 Version: 1.2 This game is amazing. Excellent graphics, amazing interaction of the liquids, environments and the tools you are supplied with to come up with a solution. It is by far the best app I have found so far. Definitely not a "time killer" game. This is challenging, requiring complex planning and thought. It is learn-as-you-go: you have to figure out on your own what the tools do, how they interact, what the goal is in each scenario and how to go about making it happen, without instructions or hints. The graphics and movement of liquids is amazing and even beautiful. I do agree that it would be nice if there were an option or way to view your completed "creation" when you are finished, before moving on to the next level. I try to zoom all the way out as soon as I make my last adjustments and am usually able to get at least a glimpse of it before the next game screen comes up. It is partly translucent so you can see a little of your solution behind it. But an option to see it before you move on might be a nice option to add on.
Amazingly spectacular game By: DFA-1979 - Nov 15, 2008 Version: 1.2 This is definatly the best game in the apps store but there are a few things that would make it even better. There should be a save feature that lets you save in the middle of a level also more user created or pangia levels please. I have beaten almost all of them and really would like some more to keep playing. Besides these minor details it is a wonderful game that will provide many hours of fun. I cannot wait for what ever comes next.
If you need help on a certian level that you are stuck on there are hints on wikepidea.
One of the best games on the app store By: mrsteveman1 - Nov 15, 2008 Version: 1.2 This game was worth every penny and more, i hope the developer isn't selling themselves short because of people complaining about prices on the store. This is a very, very fun game. This is the game i have found myself playing the most, putting it down and picking it right back up. It is challenging and has stumped me a few times, only to come back later and see one of the levels in a new way and figure out how to beat it. Very few games have this much repeat gameplay. It has very smooth graphics, very good controls, doesn't get old easily and is expandable with in-game online download of new tracks, one of its best features i wish were on other games.
Great but... By: Matt (Jazz Man) G - Jul 21, 2008 Version: 1.0.1 This is one of, if not, the best game for the iphone/ ipod touch. When you have a spare min. or a spare hour, it is a fun game and will take up your time with you begging for five more mins. the problem with this game is that the level diffuculity is insane. Level 1: Easy Level 2: Challenging Level 3: Difficult Level 4: Insane Level 5: Holy Crap! Level 6: Unknown In a future update, they should add some easier levels towards the start, a level selection menu, and other things i might be forgeting
