Reviews:
It's not expensive.....these idiots just can't afford it! By: Normwood - Aug 15, 2008 Version: 1.0.0 I'm sorry but I'm starting to get the impression that the vast majority of people who own iPhones are a bunch of 15 year olds without a job and are pissed because they blew three years worth of allowance after begging Mommy or Daddy to buy them an iPhone. I did actually download the app by the way. IT'S FREAKING ONLY $10.00!!!! It is a great app and a lot of fun. Brings back lots of memories. Apple really needs to change it so that only people who have actually purchase the app can review it. The developers making these apps aren't doing it because they have a bunch of free time on their hands and have nothing better to do. The are doing it because they are business people and are trying to put food on the table for their families. If you can't afford an app because it is $10 then you should put down the iPhone and go get a better paying job. End of rant! Great App!
I actually bought the game so my review is legit. By: Zman03 - Aug 8, 2008 Version: 1.0.0 It frustrates me personally to see so many bad reviews - especially for people who haven't bought the game that are against the $9.99 price. $10 for an app is well worth it. It takes a lot of time to develop a great app. Regardless. The quality of the application was good. No bugs, good graphics. The game played well and it was just was fun as I had hoped. It's like every other frogger. The only complaint that I have is that fact that it's a LITTLE bit difficult to get used to the adjustments, but they DO have over 3 different ways you can move the frog. Overall great application.
Beware!!!!! By: Shadowfresh_Tdat - Oct 12, 2009 Version: 2.0.0 Beware!!!!!!There are ads in the form of reveiws claiming that you can get 'Unlimited Itunes Content' and the fact is, this is a very illegal company, that hacks into accounts ( Could be your account... ) and sells them to anyone who'll spend 20bux and is a dumbâss. You can buy alot of stuff... BUT!!!! When the owner of the account finds out, they'll REPORT this to iTunes and then all of your ILLEGAL perchases will be terminated along with the account and you may get in trouble, NOT the company that sold this to you. ITUNES, THIS IS MAJOR ILLEGAL, and it NEEDS to be stopped!!!!!!! Don't be a dumbâss and fall for this scam.......

Classic By: tre_diggidy - Aug 2, 2008 Version: 1.0.0 This game is a classic. The tutorial on how to move your frog is found under "Help". You can move your frog by taping in the direction that you want him to go [e.g. tapping on his right side will move him to the right]. You can move your frog by sliding your finger in the direction you want him to move or my least favorite is by tilting the iPhone in the direction you want him to go. The only problem I have with the game is that there are very noticeable skips in the game when the game switches speeds. It was annoying at first but you get used to it but it still should be a little more smoother than looking like the game is glitching during play. That said, I've bought ALL the classic arcade games. The $9.99 price is well worth it. They all play almost exactly as the originals and it's good to have them in the palm of my hand.

Brings back memories By: Free-dog - Feb 26, 2009 Version: 2.0.0 This is actually still a good game lol. The graphics are good. The gameplay and controls work fine. I know why everyone is giving this game low reviews...because they're upset about the price. It is slightly overpriced considering the game has been around since the 80s and this new iphone version really isnt any different from the 80s version. But its still a classic fun game that I remember from my childhood. Even with the steep price, I still find it to be one of the most enjoyable games to play on my iphone
I love it, I hate it! By: bigredpoboy - Jan 25, 2009 Version: 2.0.0 I liked the game just fine before the update. The update did a terrific job of upgrading the graphics. But what's with the new controls. I liked being able to touch the screen wherever to move my frog. Sort of like the anaconda app. I'll get used to the new controls and I appreciate the effort to make the game better. I'm a little sick of hearing all the griping about the wonderful apps for these out of this world apple gadgets. Just remember only 2 or 3 years ago we were playing minesweeper on our nokias. How about a little perspective.
Wow By: Jkillah Tampa bay - Nov 6, 2009 Version: 2.0.0 If you like frogged it's good controls are simple children play it fineBut besides being boring since you play the same parts over since when you die you start over I wish there was just a way to play through called for people with phones that want to play and not be frustated and just get bored if I could maybe see more than leval 2 or 3 and play through like with the cheat up down left right in sonic then the menu and you get a leval select

Fun, but not perfect By: Mokupuni O Mele - Aug 22, 2009 Version: 2.0.0 I love the idiots who post negative reviews for a 99 cent game claiming its "not authentic"... Hello, its a phone you're playing it on! I was around for the birth of the original Frogger in the arcades and I think this port does a decent job of making a fun iPhone version of the classic. One thing I would lose is the cheesy Nintendo RPG sounding songs. You should have the option to choose the original sound effects and songs. Thats what makes Frogger great! Remember that rachetting sound it would make when you docked the frog in the original? GONE! Please bring that back! Otherwise, great way to burn time.Signed, OG Gamer

What happened to the original sounds and music? By: VintageGamer - Sep 17, 2009 Version: 2.0.0 I don't understand why the developers decided to change the game's sounds and music. I started the app expecting to hear the familiar sounds, but got a completely different set instead. Even a new mix of the original sounds would had been better. I purchased this app thinking it would bring back great memories, but I just realized that most of those memories were tied to sounds :-) Otherwise it is a good port, the control scheme works fine for the most part, and the gameplay feels appropriate for mobile devices: a couple of rounds, kill all your frogs, move on with your life. Note to the developers: BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL SOUNDS (please?) :-)
