yeah just saying the countless versions of one game that are all exactly the same but different images are retarded but fun game none the less and since awhile back when i buy investments(properties) after buying a random amount it puts the prices into the negatives and then never displays the correct prices again i can bring it bak to positives with enough buying but its still waaaaay off and itll just go negative again anyways

You can't get a better free game. Warning! You will get hooked and won't wana play any other game. I have 9 pages of aplications and 90% of the time, I click on this 1. Answer to some peoples questions about the hats. U have to buy other playmesh games to get the extra points then you will also get a hat. Fun little app Don't like how you have to pAy to get ahead •You need to get soMe incentive for adding friends, for now it just gives you nothing. Ok, so a lot of these recruitment codes have now expired or are fake, the one for me that has been working for the past 4days is 1116891 - when you add this you get $1116891 hourly for the next 24 hours and 91 Playmesh points and it is STILL WORKING!!! This helps you get from Level 1 to about Level 45 in the space of about 4-5 days - it's where I am at now. If you can't recruit (an n/a sign is there) then the only way around is to delete the application go to a different IP address/wifi port and re install the game onto your iPod touch or iPhone. Btw if you want to; please PLEASE add me as a friend on iMafia - TeamMcLaren

After trying both iMob and Mafia LIVE!, i finally gave iMafia a try.
It is by far the best mmorpg app available right now.
BOTH iMob and Mafia LIVE! are more about spamming your stupid family code all over the internet rather then playing the game. Seriously spamming your code all over the place to grind out your mob # or for 10k has CHINESE GRINDFEST mmorpg written all over it.
Not only this but iMob is full of people who used a glitch before the last update to lvl extremely fast and get insane amounts of money.
How can a game be fun when cheaters are the best players?
iMafia is FREE, has a very nice interface and plays out almost the exact same as the others. The leaderboard is full of LEGIT players who got to the top by actually PLAYING the game the way its supposed to be played.
Your mob doesnt consist of 10000 random people who entered a stupid code online...it consists of NPC's who you buy from the godfather with your in game $$. From what I can tell so far there is no items to buy where you have it use real life cash, so this is a TRUE free2play mmorpg.
The PvP is way better then any of the other games because it actually matters how big your(npc) mob is, what kinda gear you have and what your stats are.
The only thing that didn't appear to be working correctly 100% of the time was the fight feature. Every once inawhile all the people i would be able to fight would be dead or in the hospital so i couldnt fight anyone.
Don't waste your time on a game where spamming a code online is the only way to be good...play a game that is actually about playing the game.
I am a veteran mmorpg player...i've had decked out characters in WoW, AoC, emain DAoC, pre tram UO...and it is great to see a fun mmorpg to play on the iphone when you are bored at school/work, and if i had to pick one i would definitely pick iMafia.

I love the way you are responsible for increasing your mafia size with the cash you earn and don't have to worry about being spammed with codes hundreds of times a day. I also love the fact that there are no hacks sitting on the hitlist for weeks at a time. If you want to play a game where you can get powerful really quickly by annoying people, hacking, and spamming your code, play imob(crappy game), but if you want a game where it's all about foreplanning, strategy, patience and skill, play -any- of the playmesh games (Ninja, Race Wars, iMafia, iMafia New York, hopefully more to come!). Another awesome thing about this game is: Account Points are Actually VALUABLE!!! Don't waste your money on other games where account points are basically useless! If you want to spend money to make yourself stronger, spend it on playmesh! Consider this: On imob you pay for points and get the option of a) some rediculously small amount of cash (10 points) b) refill energy (10 points) b) refill hitpoints (10 points) c) recruit 1 mobster (20 points?!?!) All= waste of money On -this- game however, you get options like: a) cash (also rediculously insignificant) (10 points) b) 2 mobsters (don't buy these at first! Wait until they are costing you 15mil+ each!) (15 points) c) rare items that are much more powerful than anything available in the store (so far I've only seen this option twice and now those items are quest drops!!) (10 points) d) full energy/stamina (10 pts each) e) full hitpoints (2 points) f) FOUR stat points!!! (20 points) (freakin awesome!!!) Holy crap this is a long review and my thumbs are exausted (note to self: use a pc for long reviews). I'll finish with a note to the devs: You might consider altering the hitlist to make it a little more balanced. My idea was this: Make all hits appear in the lower levels first for a certain amount of time to give the lower levels a chance to score; eg, 10-30 minutes in levels 1-5, and if they can't manage to killem move up to lvls 6-10 for 15 minutes, then up to 11-15 etc, etc. I know that it wouldnt help much for beasts like Oneslow7 (good lord that dude is freakin powerful and is on the hitlist like 10 times a day), but it would really give the noobs a chance to get some hits!! This is the best mafia gaMe out there. But there are a few improvements that can be made. 1. Honor Points It is nice that you can buy honor points that come with games. But $20 for 160 honor points. Come on! Other mafia games come with 1250 points for $20. The store should allow you to buy honor points without the games. So they can charge less for honor point. Like $20 for 1250 points or at least 500 points. 2. Friends and Communication Just like iMob you should be able to communicate with friends but friends only. 3. Games You should make a mini-game that either earns you exp. points or money or maybe even honor points if the person breaks a certain level. With these updates I would pay $5 for an update. Also what are the different colored hats for???

iMob is a fun app but full of rich people who just buy the victory in the game. As long as iMafia stays free and doesn't really allow people to just purchase there victory with real money, and they update it and add more to it. Like a casino section to gamble, buy sell drugs, different cities etc. If all that happens iMafia will destroy iMob. It's nice to know when you fight someone you know they didn't spend $20 so they could beat you

Easily the best Mafia game for the iPhone. I own all 3 and play them often, but this is the only one that really challenges you to think about how you want to progress. Update: I'm at level 71 and there really doesn't seem to be any challenge to the game after around level 50. More properties would help, as would being able to win/lose more than 100k per fight. It has gotten to the point where it would take a ridiculous amount of hours to make back my investment on any property I buy. I used to check this game every hour, but now I check it once or twice a day, if that.

Interest rates in the bank

We lose 10% every time we deposit money in the bank. Why not allow us to make back that money by adding an interest rate facet to the bank? A flat interest rate would be great. Maybe something you can expand to where the rate increases with experience or by saving up enough skill points to raise it half a percent or so. Just a thought for future consideration in updates. To add to my previous post. I know because of the whole oneslow glitch they stopped xp gained from winning a fight that was against u. But here's the thing. Now theirs low lvl tanks and also think what if someone reset their character. Bought all playmesh apps and then spent all on crit/evasion. Points. They would be unstoppable. Also still I bought ishooter and ishapes. Got the honor points but no hat :( peace add me if u want D3ATH120W

The game is fluid: easy to navigate, fun to learn, and most importantly fun to play. Suggestions would be: that annoying "low memory" warning could just go away if can't be fixed, fix the honour point system, and honestly that's about it... If there was some sort of gang/guild thing or a lobby where other users could chat with one another it may promote rivalry and in turn popularity of the app. I took my time to write this, it should be read accordingly. 5/5 to the developers, you earned it.

I am having a great time with this game. I keep it on at work and deposit my cash every hour. Trying to figure out the best way to spend it so I can dominate is challenging. 2 things I have a problem with... 1st - when I access the Hit List, and I fight another player and win... Why don't I get the Full Bounty every time? I got a guy who's bounty was $47,000. When it said I won, all I got was $147.00... I hit fight again and it said target was dead... I didn't even get the Kill. You need to make the fights and bounties seperate from each other. 2nd - I have a rough time spending $ .99 on an app. 1 time I spent $2.99 on one and I use it every day. If you think I am spending $20.00 on a stupid shape game to get Honor Points... You Are F#%@ing Out Of Your Mind !!!! Get your act together, and get us some Honor Points. That is all, thanks for the super cool game.

A lot better than imob since it doesn't crash an theres not as many random bugs. With imob there were too crashes and you get jumped too easily. Plus I was in debt for no reason. Abd the server here isnt slow its actially decent whereas imob freezes a lpt abd its crashed about 5 times more than imafia. And the concept here is applied a lot better and balabced than imob. So imafia wins since it's smoother and even looks better. Add me: Voozers And make sure you capitalize it. The adds are case sensitive. And if the add didn't work try again. I add anyone and it's cool working together.

SomkenAce is a secret code. You need to go to the recruit and type it in. You get special wepons. I got this name because a friend of mine bought the $50 app and it came with the secret code. You must go to the recruit section in the cafe. Then you type SmokenAce and you get special wepons and money. You need to go to the recruit and put in SmokenAce!!!!!!!!!!!!! The rucruit place only not request a friendship. You don't get the stuff if you do a friendship only if you recruit. It's SmokenAce and you get 800 meshpoints must go to recruit to do this and type the name in their. Does not work if you do friendship!!!!!

This game is amazing and fun but I hate the honor point system. Don't five spoiled little brats an advantage. Just make another imafia that you pay for with some expansions. I'm a 25(I think) brawler. I spend all my $$ on real estate and 2/3 lvl skill points in energy. I currently have 10 of each area for outlot and the second one with the hotel and stuff. I don't remember the name. Add me ingame. keegz. My bounty is over $1,000,000. :)

The game is okay. It still need work though. The godfather section needs to be fixed. Everything is over priced like the relestate and some the weapons. The items don't balance out u pay like a million dollars for a henchmen then turn around and have to pay like 5 million and up for a property to only get 25000 or something back every hour completly not worth it. Please lower the prices or do something else to compinsate for them

Great game, but when we asked for the ability to get honor points, I don't think anyone was planning on spending real money to get them. That was a big let-down in the update.I think the energy regen rate is ok but it could be faster, maybe lower it by a minute or two is all, nothing below 2 minutes or we'll be overwhelmed by workoholics! Idea: have different types of mobsters you can hire that give you different advantages. Ex: hire an ex-banker and your income goes up by 5% Limit 1-2 different "specialists"?
