BRILLIANT. It's just call of duty for Iphone/iPod touch. It's just brilliant. The multiplayer is awesome. The single player is intresting and is very varied. The guns are great, there's so many. Each with different sights, silencers and many attatchments. A must buy, just get this game now! It's cheap at this price. The only problem is it's huge, I had to delete quite a lot of stuff to make space. But I don't regret it. Very happy. 

Gameloft hav done it again. I'm an avid fps gamer and I truely belive that this is the best fps out there on the iPhone. Graphics ate sweet gameplay is sweet when u get shot the blood imaging is good. 1 or 2 bugs but the gameplay and graphics over ride these issues also the sounds of the weapons are awesome as well. Overall this is well and truly up there with the best a must purchase 4 all u fps fans out there and multiplayer is good 2. Keep it up gameloft well done to all the developers on this 10 stars.

This is helping me forget my Xbox 360 got the red ring of death. They are really getting close to delivering a true console quality game for the iphone. The action in this game is great, for single and multi player. As with any touch screen fps controls, they take a bit to get used to. But these are the best I've experienced. Retina display graphics look seriously amazing. I love the technology that we have nowadays!Way to go Gameloft.

(update) AWARDS, AWARDS, AWARDS!!! This game is better than any fps on any portable I have ever played, better than the whole bravo series on the psp etc, and that's from playing it x2, I can only drool at what this game is gonna look like in HD. There are some minor glitches here and there, and the iPad doesn't propagate the retina display, but still, gameloft has without a doubt drawn a line in the sand of what a portable fps should be and play like. They have earned the respect of people not comparing their fps's to other console and portable games as if they are close but no cigar comparisons or in some other derogatory remark. This is a head to toe, honest to goodness fps, that deserves the recognition as one of the best fps of the year stand alone, across the board on all portable devices. The chaos the slow mo head shots, the double slow mo head shots, just the down right realism of the environment, and audio, is a show of dedication to produce an awesome game, not just make an extra buck on the shoulders of other well known games, I have never played a portable fps with such dedication to the player experience as MC2, all you can do while your playing this game is think about playing it all over when your not even done on your first go around, the audio for the guns is just down right brilliant. I know many if not most that have a idevice of any generation don't play many games on other portable devices anymore, but this game officially, officially, put the nail on the coffin of the psp and the ds, even the 3d when it comes out, incase some of you haven't noticed, ummm there's more than a hand full of 3D games already out for idevices, nintindo is truly a day late and a dollar short, not that the games are any good or not, but my point is if any game proves the idevice, is a serious portable gaming device regardless of tactile buttons or what ever other excuse grampas are making these days, it's this one right here, I never played a fps on the psp that even comes slightly close to MC2, great fraking job gl.As a first day iPad adapter I had my share of impulse iPhone purchases, with the fear that it would never or be a very long time till it made it to the iPad. Since then I gained a discipline, because inevitably they do, at least the good ones, but this was one of those games that I just couldn't hold out for, and I'm glad, this is gl's best yet, it's basically a cross between BIA and NOVA, as far as mechanics, graphics, controls, etc. I am happy I bought this and am playing it in x2, it's fast and accurate, and with all HD fps for some reason, they seem to lag, this is gl's best really it's nice to see a steady progressive team like the guys/girls, they have not back tracked since they first launched, every single thing the do is better than what they did before, great job gloft, can't wait to buy the HD version, best shooter in the store, right here!

An amazing mobile game with console quality

This is a great game as a package a great looking game with a fun sp mode with full voice acting lip synced to the player models. A addicting mp mode to play online online on the go. Think cod style mp kill signatures a nice touch, a lot of unlockables. The two things that bug me was getting use to the controls but the custom buttons help fixed that a bit also trying to figure out the gyroscope qte's seems no responsive or just not clear what they were. So I stayed on non gyroscoped control. Also the price for the game and what quality it has is a steal! Seriously a better buy than some other console games.

This is the iPhone game I've been waiting for. Good variety of weapons, interesting and varied single player and the most complete multiplayer on the Idevice. Runs as well as linford christy on the 3GS. Custom multiplayer for all the call of duty fans out there. But I'd love a counterstrike style buy system personally. I wasn't planning on buying this game, but i did anyway - because i liked the first.Now i have gotten in to it, i can say without hesitation that this game was highly anticipated and delivers top quality in FPS gaming. The missions are highly compelling with action, and the Multiplayer is the best i have ever played! you can level up and customise your weapon set as you level, as well as having an emblem which is pretty neat. All in all, this game is great!

And they have got NOVA 2 & Dungeon Hunter 2 coming, both with multiplayer.Gameloft have definitely raised the bar as far as IPhone gaming is concerned and other companies are beginning to follow. We have some exciting games on the way with Sonic 4, Secret of Mana & Rage:)Here are a few things I would like added to the multiplayer:-Chat:- VOIP if possible, if not then the Itouch keyboard.Another game mode:- A Counter Strike / Last Man Standing mode where yousit out the round when dead. You could watch the game through a action cam and chat with the Itouch keyboard.Longer time before the player respawns, unless you touch the screen when you die, and the ability to check the score screen when dead.Also, I've noticed you can only Customise the controls in Single Player, so you have to load up a single player game to set them. I have never before been compelled to actually write a review before but this game deserves it. Think Call of Duty 4 on the iPhone. This game really brings the iPhone/Pod to a more serious gaming level that can better compete with DS and PSP. It runs flawlessly on my iPhone 4 in single and multiplayer. Keep up the good work and I hope to see updates with more multiplayer maps and a campaign expansion would be cool too, not that it's short I haven't beatin it yet, I just already know that um gonna want more once I have.

I've only played this masterpeice for about 2 hours(i think) and during those hours I was emmersed into a completly different world! mc2:Bp was by far the best fps on my iPhone 3g. the graphics were amazing,the gameplay was like the the best sandwich ever made, and the controls were better than the other fps'. The multiplayer was OVER 9000 TIMES BETTER THAN MW2's multiplayer! The only problem I had was when I click on quick match and it put me into an empty lobby. Check the ratings. gamplay  5/5 graphics 5/5multiplayer and a half 4.5/5 story  4/5 controls  5/5 developer 5/5 ( i love gamloft) overall 4.5/5 I would definatly recomend this to anyone. If you like fps' then you should pick this up at your local app store. You should also pick up other gameloft fps' too(at your local app store). Bad points so far, it's a bit easy but I'm on normal and am not far into the game yet, it stutters now and then. Good points, it looks frigging amazing, really fresh graphics, gameplay is good, no stupid training at the beginning you jump straight into action, controls are good but the gyro does more then in NOVA but I'm yet to adjust sensitivity, very quick loading times, it has a couple of references to Modern Combat 1 in the story, instant kill cam is imense!! Buy it. No problems on my iPhone 4 16gb.

This game is utterly amazing, destroying... I mean destroying any FPS or action game, and in my opinion, every title.Visual: The graphics are astounding for such small devices. They are extremely clear and detailed vs any other FPS, and is a true MW2 mobile clone. The games graphics are at a PS2 level.Performance: Flawless from what I've played, story wise and online. A few tiny glitches sometimes but that's it. It seems to run smoother than ever and consumes MUCH less battery life than the first Modern Combat. As for the multiplayer all I can say is WOW!.Gameplay: Intense, fun, beautiful and clearly the best in the app store currently.Keep it up Gameloft, In the beginning it seemed like the company was creating flawed games, while amazing, still flawed with very few updates. However, Gameloft has proved itself as the Don of the app store with the new updates and new games.UPDATE: I really love the game but it's multiplayer is the true catch and with the ranks being set back I can't bare to play, I hope the fix is made soon.

This game is supremely better than any other FPS, or heck, any other GAME I have played on the iPod. The sheer enjoyment from seeing this beautiful game run on a mobile device is enough reason to buy it. I do have the new iPod Touch 4G, so I do know that it looks absolutely stunning on the Retina display. The multiplayer is wonderful and works flawlessly. I had no lag playing a couple matches this morning. You will not find a better Multiplayer experience on the iDevices right now. Modern Combat 2? But it right now. You won't be disappointed.

First of all this is pretty much mw2 on the iPhone/iPod touch haha. RANK GLITCH FIXING!:All you have to do is get a few kills on mulitplayer and It will all come back and get your rank and stuff back it's happened to me a lot too, and if that doesn't work it'll fix itself if u log off an on ur account.Best weapon:nx8 handgun(beretta m9)And the dragunov isn't a sniper it's an automatic with a scope:( don't call yourself good using it I use the m40a3 because it takes skill.Name: (as of now I am going to change I had it for first sandstorm) Going4topsRank: 25;D

My rank in online play is gone and so are all the weapon why??? Well Here are a few ways to fix it1. Restart iPhone/thoch2. When on the multiplayer main screen (shows rank to side) click on kill signature and scroll through all of them and then exit the kill sig. And wait a few seconds it should be back3. When on main multiplayer screen wait 30 sec (about) and click back to go to the actual main screen and then click back on multiplayerHope this helps!! P.s. These all worked for me (90% of the time) ((if these don't work the first time just exit app and retry))

Great FPS experience on the iPhone/iPod touch!With all the great reviews I couldn't wait and had to get it - even though I wouldn't be surprised to see it on sale for $1.99 in a week or two. It's worth it either way. Best Multiplayer FPS I've seen on the AppStore - compatible to Call of Duty on the Consoles... only difference is you can't put a TV and console in your pockets. (ok ok, unless you have huge pockets I guess)To the people complaining that it's not downloading... it's 440MB in size... With apps that big it's always recommended to download it via iTunes on the desktop and then sync it.

Hii!This is for everyone who consider if buying the game or not.Well, I've got it by the morning when I woke up, but just get to put my hands on it on the noon.After some Multi-Player games and some levels I've played, I have to say once& for all, don't consider- buy!The grafix are amazing. I've never seen such a detailed grafix on the iPod touch and the iPhone. The gameplay enviroments are truly colorful, crisp and sharp, and in short, it's not matter what you'll do in this game, it's all looks amazing! BTW: I have to say that I've tried it on my 2g device and on an iPod touch 4g. So I make a little comparrasion between them. Well... This game is taking adventage perfectly the Retina Display.The sound experience is also great, when you have to listen to discussion between the characters in the game, or just when you shoot and make some actions in the game, it's all sounds really great and realistic.The UI is perfect. GL made an awesome job with this UI just like how they know.The gameplay and the storyline are also addictive and fascinating. So, if you're searching for a good story, get this game!Ohh, yeah, the multi-player is so amazing and fun. I haven't seen any spawning problem or crashes. this app is at least 100 times better than Modern Combat: Sandstormit has georgeous graphics, however the graphics shown on the scrrenshots above are much better than they are on my ipod touch 3rd generation and i cant use the giroscopic controls, which is a huge let downother wise i love it!fantastic ap with awesome gameplay.if you loved the first one you will loved this one even more.dont make your decision on the price tag!!!
