There's sometimes where I go to buy houses and hotels and it limits me even though I have the money..it usually happens towards the end. It's pretty annoying because I now have a record of 12 hotels, 32 houses and $7,921 in stats and I would have had 14 hotels and it stopped me at 4 houses on each ???Sometimes I feel like the dice are fixed also but then after playing alot I'm not sure they are...I'm 8 wins 4 losses in hard mode..overall good game

Still fun to play but the AI is very goodAt avoiding landing on my properties when I have a house or hotel on it, meanwhile I'll land on on AI's at least more than 2-3 times as often. I had half the board full of hotels and the AI made at least 3-4 trips around the board before hitting any of them. It seems to skirt boardwalk when I own it and always lands on GO. Still like it, just wish my chances wrere as good as the computers. I can still beat it but it's frustrating to watch it "cheat" over and over.

I've been playing monopoly for the better part of Three decades and love the game. The biggest drawback to the game though has always been time. Few board games can take so much time to complete. The biggest benefit of this iPhone version is that you can stop at any point and pick right back up where you left off. I bought the first iPhone Monopoly game early this year and played on my 3G iPhone. You can play it, but restart. I have a 3Gs now and playing is no problem. Just keep that in mind. While the Here and Now Edition is fun, it's not the original. Both editions share the same interface and graphics. Looks like this one adds Bluetooth sharing. It's a great deal of fun solo or with 3 of your friends. No online though. Both editions are great, but if you prefer the classic, go with this one.

Great Board Game for iPhone

Just like the real thing! They did a great job taking a classic board game and making an iPhone hit! I have experienced no bugs and playing others through wi-fi was super easy and super fun. A previous review mentioned that there shouldn't be AI ability levels since this is a game of chance. I disagree. There is strategy involved in this game. On the easy setting, the AI will almost take any deal you give them. The difficult setting has the AI making smarter choices whether to buy, sell, or trade properties. With the easy setting, I'm able to defeat the AIs everytime by playing with a certain strategy. Overall, definitely worth the money!

Im starting to win more than loose now its a great game....I just played a game and won by alot, I owned every property and monopoly besides the RailRoads and the Utilities. The AL kept landing on me an i kept getting paid by the minute........This is a great game, but it could be better....I'm not sure how but it just could be: ONLINE PLAYERS would be a good idea and maybe some other things u can come up with.....THANKS

I find myself playing continued games several times throughout the day, it really passes the time. It is just as much fun as the original board game and the animation and sounds make it all the much more so. I would like to ask for some changes if there is to be another version. I would like the dice roll button to be made a bit bigger, I find myself always opening the table view instead of rolling. Great version of an old classic, and thank you too for the Thanksgiving Sale!

Only complaints are minor and those are: add pieces like cannon, money bag, ect. Another is not being able to choose to put free parking as 500 or add taxes to the total. Last is that the buttons to trade, roll, ect. Should be moved or bigger becuase I hit the light blues. And aren't Baltic and medditeranian( or whatever it is spelled like) dark purple not brown? Like I said minor and AI does not cheat. A great game worth sale price but five dollars might be pushing it a bit. That was what I thought I play it all the time worth it. Buy it if you like original game.

Nice! Better than handling real cards and fake money.

Awsome game! Plays with authentic rules....I really like that. This makes the game as true to real live board game experience as possible. If you like board games you'll definately love Monopoly. I don't believe the dice give advantage to the AI. It's just "luck" I guess. I'm sure you'll enjoy this game. Definately worth the $3. Even though it sells for more at the original price. Buy. You won't regret it.

This is a very fun game. It would be cool if we could play against our Facebook friends. It's still a great game. It would be cool if there was a chat system to talk to your friends when playing this game. The Good Part of The Game1. Game does not Crash2. Game does not have lag3. There's a help option4. The game teaches you how to play5. Fun Game! 6. There's a hard level on the game7. You can play against other people using Bluetooth. My Ideas 1. Monopoly has always been my favorite board game, the only downside was counting the money and dealing it and trading and time consuming small things like that. But this iPhone version takes care of all those minor problems. It's excellent to play with friends, and it never gets old. $2.99 is very little for what this monopoly app gives. I definantly recommend it. Also, Uniwar has gone down to 99c, the only app I find more fun than monopoly.

I loved Monopoly on the Palm and was hoping to find it for iPhone, could not get into the "World" one at all. Was waiting for this version to come out. I was worried after reading several reviews that said the game was rigged so that only the Computer can win so I was happy instead to find fairly challenging games which I however usually win. It's like the computer and palm versions, the luck varies from game to game but even with a lot of bad luck, I've been able to win in the end, so far. I have 2/3 wins on the medium difficulty level and 5/6 wins on the hard difficulty level, so i'm a happy camper. Love the graphics.I wish I could set the game pieces to default so I don't have to reset th each time, and the difficulty level too. I wish there was an option to have both taxes and $250 when landing on free parking instead of either/or. I wish at the end of the game I could see the amount of wealth I ended up with, and the computer too. Overall though, for mr, the game gets the important things right, excellent, although I usually win, it's not easy, it's challenging and entertaining.

B4 I bought this I didn't even know how to play monopoly but I learned and I found this is one of the best board games I've ever played! AI is definetly a piece of  and forces u to play on easy but I'm sure an update will fix it. but you have to have patience to play this game! Overall 4.5/5 for difficulty

Good work. Great rendition of a classic game. Smooth gameplay, clean graphics, hotseat and wifi multiplayer. Several hundred games later, I can say the dice rolls are random, not favored one way or another. Don't mind luxery tax at 100 instead of 75, and couple other minor differences - my only complaint is the advertising at the end of each game. After the horrible mess of command and conquer, I was afraid to buy another game from electronic arts, but this one's worth it. I hope future games from EA live up to this caliber.

Wi-fi works great, no lag at all. I like the animations. Game moves quickly. AIs are intelligent. They do accept slightly lower prices for their properties than they should when trading, but it isn't like it's a gigantic problem. NOTE TO THOSE WHO ARE REPORTING PROBLEMS: There are some gliches that appear when you first play. The problem I experienced was a notice that said my memory was full. This was easily corrected by restarting my iPod (which is a first gen.). I suspect that any other problems (other than ones related to wi-fi) that cannot be fixed by just powering off your iPod of iPhone might be caused caused by people who haven't updated yet or have had their iPods jailbroken. If not, I have no idea why, because it works fine for my friends and I.

I have a ton of apps and this one is my favorite. It has neat animations and the gameplay is alot of fun. I can't hardly put it down. I do agree however that the al need to be more fair and be more realistic as to the purchases they make on properties. It's a Great game nonetheless and if you like board games or are a fan of monopoly you should def buy. Well worth the 5$. My only other complaints are that now it's 2 bucks less and I just got it last night. That's really gay.Also, you EA guys should fix the wifi issue and add more backgrounds. If you could play this online with a decent amount of live players,( like you can on zynga live poker for example)this game would be a 10. In any event, goodjob on reconstructing a classic board game successfully. Please fix the wifi and more backgrounds and this will be number 1 on the App store. Or atleast should be. Peace

I was kinda iffy about buying this since everybody complained about the Al and how they cheat. Im not gonna lie, it is kinda lame how if you play with 3 Als its basically them against you, however, ive managed to beat the medium level twice already and found it very entertaining, basically you just gotta get as many properties as possible, try and get at least one property from each color so that way the Als cant cheat by making trades with eachother. thats how i get around and its worked fine. game is fun. idk about $5, i got it for $3 during the black friday sales so i was happy with paying $3,

I was waiting for it quite a while, and it certainly paid off! I was concerned with the review for the previous version of Monopoly, specifically the mandatory auctions, and the "cheating AI". With this version, you can turn off the Auction mode, and playing the easiest level seems to be good for the AI. The AI is getting doubles, but in a logical way (not every throw, like in the hard game). Overall, a big WIN! BTW, I think there is a bug, and 3 (the hardest level) is actually the easiest one (i.e. no cheating AI - mind you, getting doubles all the time is cheating, not artificial intelligence!)

The game is excellent! Except for the fact that Al hardly ever has anything bad happen to itself. The difficulty is good but that should only control how smart Al is and not how the dice works. I also think in an update you should make a new board with the "here and now" addition and others that you've created. That would be sweet. Otherwise very addictive! I've found myself playing this is almost every class. A must buy!
