Well, after about 13 total hours of play, I just made it through Peggle with over 17,000,000 points. I bought the app because of all the great reviews, and it doesn't disappoint. There's probably a good 25+ hours of gameplay (maybe MUCH more!) for the normal player and while it's not particularly hard, it is VERY challenging, interesting, and fun! I will have to agree with everyone else and say...BUY IT NOW and enjoy!

Period. Simply put, if you love Peggle, you'll love this. I do wish music will come in a future update, for I love Peggle's music and I don't really have fitting tunes on my iPod for a game like this. =D An option to select between in-game music or your iPod music would be great. Also, there's a bug when the Sleep button is pressed in-game; the music volume automatically sets to zero (even when I set it back higher, it does it again). Fix this please!

I have extensive experience with both the Mac-based and Xbox Live versions of this game. The iPhone version is a worthy version. The aiming system works better than the XBL version but not quite as well as the Mac version; this is only because a mouse will still rule any other system for precision aiming. There's some frame rate slowdown issues during initial launches and most especially during the Fever mode after completing a round, but it's a minor quibble. The same first-class, addictive, fun game that made it famous on other platforms. Absolutely worth your $5.

I played my first game of peggle on my computer a few months back and I was hooked. From then on I've continued to feed my addiction. I had my friend buy it on her xbox, I bought the second version "Peggle Nights" for my mac and now I can have my peggle(crack) wherever I go! The itouch/phone version is a lot smaller so harder to aim but the beauty of this game is dumb luck can work and each level is never played the same (unless you're really good). There's always opportunity to get a higher score, more fever points and free balls. I love this game and tell everyone I know about it and they think I'm crazy. All I can say is: best game ever. And how can you not love rainbows and unicorns?!?!

 This game is the best!!!!  I can play this for hours on end and never get bored. Magic hat and spooky balls rock!!!! Bjorn is my favorite unicorn. To all those unsure of a great purchase it's well worth the $4.99 price tag, heck I'd pay $7.99 for it's limitless possabilities. This is a true"you get what you pay for app" once again this is the app for 2009 and to be a dominant 2010 oh yeah u can freakin save replays to show your friend what you did at work if they don't beleive you tales of peggle dominace. Duel mode for those who talk the talk and walk the walk. Man I don't see any flaws in this app. For this who are color blond they got you covered, not many apps are handicap friendley. For leftys they didn't exclude u for being the way you are its ok. Just buy it already I can do this all day long but I got to try to dominate the challenge mode, keep on peggling!!!

Mintpass, go read lord of the rings. This game has no stalling or framerate issues at all. It hasn't frozen or been sluggish once or shown any bugs. And I don't know if you noticed, but you can double tap your home button to put music in the background if it's that much if a problem. This is a great app and I can't think of anything wrong with it. And as for the price, it's nobody's fault but yours for buying it when the price was higher. They would have been stupid not to lower the price so that more people would buy it. Great app. Nothing at all wrong with it.

We have this game on xbox and love it! I have played the iPhone version a LOT since I bought it a few weeks ago and have never experienced it crashing or being the least bit buggy. And there certainly is music in this game. It can be turned off in the settings or if your phone's on silent. And it is far from impossible. It's just hard enough to where it's challenging, but I can always beat a level by the 3rd try and usually on the 1st or 2nd. Don't listen to that one crappy review... This game is awesome and totally worth 5 bucks. It's like a mix between pinball and Plinko! You'll love it!

I'm extatic that they've finally put Peggle for the iPhone/iTouch! I've wanted this since the app. store came out although, this game crashes a lot. It needs a big update to fix that otherwise when it does work it works perfectly and very smoothly. So if I didn't already know this game was amazing it would probably get a 6/10 from me at the moment because of the crashing, it is extrememly annoying...aahhhh well. They should be able to fix that soon.

I was addicted to this game on my pc, now I can take it everywhere!! I have no issues with game play, lag or crashes ... The only thing that seemed sluggish is when the zen owl thinks about how to optimize your shots. Graphics are great, exactly like on the pc. I love the multiple control options, like double tapping to zoom, makes it easier to make the harder shots. Absolutely the best game I've played on the iPhone!!!!

That's the only word to describe this game. Ode to joy mixed with fireworks and rabbits and unicorns? I never thought a game with unicorns and rainbows could be this fun. Worth every cent for a simply amazing game. This game is amazing If I could I would give it 6 And mintpass STFU all mintpass does is go around the app store and leave bull**** reviews on great apps like this and galcon. And he has no life so he updates them daily

While it certainly took it's sweet time coming, Peggle for the iPhone/iPod Touch certainaly delivers with what was promised. The classic formula remains unchanged. However, mostly everything else has gone unchanged as well. Little to no new content other than a trophy room and world high score board leaves more to be desired. The touch controls are nearly spot on with only a few hickups. Slowdown does seem to be a problem in this release, but a patch should come along and fix it. Also, oddly, there is no background music other than the vicotry Ode To Joy song. Still, a five star app that more than deserves your five dollars.

This is the BEST iphone game I have ever played. Period. Be warned - once you start playing, you can't stop. Everything about this game is perfect - the graphics, the sound, the gameplay. It even saves your game automatically when you press the home button and you can listen to your own ipod music while playing with the sound effects on. Superb. I hope they release a sequel soon. Only downside is that it seems to drain the batteries really quickly so it's a bit hard to play when you're out and about.

This game is amazing, and cheaper than all it's counterparts. If you want it on your PC or Mac, 20$, XBox, 8$, iPhone is 5$, and I see no difference between the versions.
It loads in a respectable amount of time, has an immense amount of polish, and plays very well.
The only gripe I have is that to a trained eye, you can notice some framerate slowdown, and I don't like that I have to push the fire button, all else aside this game is fantastic.

I love this game and everything about it. The adventure is fun and the challenge mode keeps you coming back for more. This is a great game made by great developers and I believe the price is right just because it's a game with a lot of replayability. Sounds like to me that the kid that has all these problems needs a new phone because I have never had one single problem with this app. He probabably has over 200 apps on his phone that he doesn't use which makes his apps crash and whine like a kid. His review will not keep people from buying this app. Peggle is everywhere now and it will only get better.

Peggle is simple enough so that everyone can play it, but it is very, very addicting. Hardcore gamers have probably heard about it and they know that they shouldn't shy away from this great "casual" experience. The object of the game is to clear the board from orange pegs. You have ten balls to do it and blue pegs get in the way. You can win free balls, earn different "powers" and so on. There is a bit of strategy and skill involved, but chance often takes over. The charm level is off the charts, this game raw material is pure distilled and bottled good vibes. Peggle has shown up in almost every other gaming platform, but the iPhone may be the better choice for the simple fact that it is probably the only device you carry around wherever you go. I have been unimpressed with the efforts of making the iPhone a true gaming platform. This is the first game that may prove it can truly be one by making sense and by having top notch quality. Start downloading now.

Awesome port of the pc game. Easy to aim thanks to the wheel on the side. Worth the price... But you better have your charger with you or carry an external battery like a Mophie case cause you're going to run the battery down a lot playing this addictive game non-stop! Don't listen to the bashing. I have played for hours and hours with no crashing and no slow-downs! Don't let someone with a buggy jailbroken phone blame their problems on this well done game! It doesn't take a genius to see through the lies in these reviews. Peggle isn't a 4-star+ rated game because it crashes a lot... Peggle is one of the best games available in the App Store! Hands down. The price reflects this, and it's worth it! PopCap... Please please PLEASE release more of your great games for the iPhone/Touch!!! Heavy Weapon would port over well!

People will remember you only because of how stupid you are. Your slow, clunky iPod rip offs dont even come close to what Apple has to offer, so stop spending time here lying to people and go try to make your products worthwhile. Thanks. Ps. OLDER POST FROM ME: To be honest, Mintpass, it sounds like your iPhone is really messed up. Your problems aren't normal. You should ask other people that play this game on their iPhones to see if they have that many errors. If you've read any of these reveiws you would realize that you're a minority. Really stop and think about it. Why are you pretty much the only one that's getting so worked up about this game and having problems? Really, just stop and think before posting another update that makes you look foolish. Its either you that's dysfunctional or your device. THINK!! Which is it? Also you're not updating your review correctly. Several people have already pointed out that the game starts out with a tutorial and you haven't taken the abscence of a tutorial off of your review. Another thing you need to update is the startup time. I timed an average of 24 seconds to load the main menu from the instant I hit the icon. You say it takes you "minutes" to load? Really? As far as frame rate, mine has never slowed unless it's going in slow motion on purpose or if there is a level with tons of moving pegs. But even then it's hardly anything. And also a zen shot doesn't permanently freeze your device; if you would just wait 2 more seconds you would find out that it's calculating the best possible shot, and if you know anything about this game, you should know there are a lot of variables in a single shot. It even pauses during a zen shot on a computer because of the calculation. What to you expect from a handheld device? I purchased this game when it came out on the original iPod and I loved it. I also got it for my computer and I loved it even more. When I heard it was coming out for iPhone I was stoked and I was not let down. They've implemented all of the great features just like on a computer; and they've even added a couple extra ones. I've followed this game on 3 different platforms and it's come a long way. Great way to pass the time. Highly recommended.

This is a terrific game, designed in every way to be as fun as possible. While there's certainly a level of skill required to complete the hardest challenges, there are so many chances to fluke your way to glorious victory early on that it becomes strangely satisfying at first, and before long completely addictive.
If you're trying to decide whether it's worth the purchase, get it now. You won't be disappointed.
