I really wasn't expecting this game to be as much fun as it is. One could go crazy and spend a bunch, or make it more of a cerebral challenge, or a relaxing game of Zen waiting. I enjoy the challenge of figuring out how not to buy extra things, while someone else could go all out and buy extras, so the "freemium" idea works really well here. It's a very pleasant surprise, and well worth your time.

This app is a great find...for free! It is silly how addicting it is! I love it! But there are some things that would make it better. There are all these awards and it is hard to know what frogs you have and I find I am going back and forth a lot. So a better way to see what frogs you have at once would be great. The scenery, why can't that be categorized and why can't we sell the ones we don't want. We can buy them we should be able to sell them.I think as they develop it more I hope to see these updates. Till then I am hopping around!!

Pocket frogs is amazing, the best free game available easily. However to make it perfect it needs:-more games to level up your frogs and to earn presents etc.-a paint section where you can design a new frog species and once a week you chose an entry to be a new frog etc.-more mailbox space or no wait time.-more interaction between players to earn points and prizes.-a trading area where you can search for what frogs are up for sale and bid on them/trade with one of your own frogs.These are just ideas - over all it's fab!!

Still having fun working on awards - enough challenge to make us keep on playing!!!*************This game is a lot of fun, and both the adults and kids in our family like it a lot - we fight over the iPhone to see who gets to play.I, too, would give five stars except for the following:- the ability to sell stuff straight from the mailbox (mainly habitat backgrounds) and/or a place to store extra "stuff"- either more ways to earn coins, or cheaper additional habitats - we wanted to keep all the frogs but ended up selling a lot them to afford a third habitat - and I can see needing extra room to work on some of the awards. Or maybe that's the theory of the game - to work on one's life list? A few tweaks will definately make it a 5 star game!!! At any rate, it's well done, imaginative, cute and relaxing - keep up the great work!

Ok!!! I know what ur thinking..... Pocket Frogs... That's an intresting name..... It looks fun but, it's free?! There must b a glitch or a condition! That's it! They are trying to scam me!!!! How could they!!!!! There is no way I am gettin this!!!If you r thinking any of those things.... SHUTUP!!!! Stop thinking so negativly!!!! This game is so much fun its one of the most played games omvmy iPod! And it's free! I have had this game for about a week now and there have been ZERO problems! And if u don't like it's that ur opinion!!! Give Pocket Frogs a try!!! And if u don't like it u always have the power to delet it! So common give it a chance!This game us amazing for all ages to younger kids, they think it's so kool to see froggies of all different kinds! For the elderly this game is really relaxing.... Whatching frogs jump from Lilly pad to Lilly pad! And for older kids or adults it's still that great! Please just give it a try! What can u lose?!?? My wife got this game first. The social aspect on plus+ reeled me in. Simple but engaging. Can't believe it's free too. Gameplay, graphics, leveling up, everything seems balanced. Fun. And, it does not crash. Very stable.The only downside is the great lengths of time it takes for higher level stuff to mature and arrive. It gets much harder to bread and wait for new frogs. This seems to force you to decide to buy stamps and potions with real money. (v1.0.2) update - Froggydex is great, love it. Breathes new life into the game. New CHROMA color changing frog! Cool!Wish list:Bigger catalog.Bigger mailbox. Shorter times for maturing/arriving.Multiple nurseries. Frog list summary screen in habitatVaried ponds with ability to hop on land and find bigger food.Thanks NB!

This is THE pet simulation app for anyone who wants some sort of animal thing going on their iPhone. The frogs look realistic and there's so much to do, so much to unlock and so much to buy. The Pond makes the game even more fun. Instead of sitting around waiting for your frogs to hatch/grow, you can send them to the Pond to eat flies, making them happy, find free money/presents or breed. Great system.

Pocket Frogs is a fun game where you earn points by taming and breeding frogs. You earn gold when you sell your frogs, which you can spend decorating their habitats. The frogs look fancier every level, and I am always looking for the next new one. I especially like that you can find the items in game if you are lucky, especially potions and stamps which are also available for real money. I never have enough stamps though, so that real money thing is getting pretty tempting. If you like this game, share it with your friends - you can gift each other frogs and items for the habitats.

Ever since the Creatures series for Pc, I've loved breeding type sims. Spore was also pretty good, but more involved. Pocket Frogs is an excellent "quick and easy" take on this genre. Jumping from lilypad to lilypad, finding little treasures, and trying to achieve specific breeding goals are all part of the fun. I'd only improve the game by enlarging the database (50 spaces is not nearly enough), making it easier to catagorize by colour, pricr, or breed, and -possibly - introducing some rudimentary genetics. 5 stars!

As a free game with in-game purchasing options, it really balances the equation well. You aren't horribly limited as a free user, but there's a clear benefit to the purchases if you're an addict. And to be clear, most people will be addicted very quickly.However, I have to agree with some other comments that an additional minigame or two would add a lot of depth to this game.Also, major points to the developer for making an effort to highlight the increasingly dire ecological situation many frogs are facing...they really are an indicator of the health of their surrounding ecosystem.

I really like this game! At first I thought I wouldn't but it's really addictive! I really like frogs now~ I was considering to be a frog breeder now... May I make a few suggestions? •name the frogs. I wish I could name mine...•customizable frog. Only 1 per owner.•I would kinda like to see a tadpole nursery. Then we can see our little frogs grow up! Yeah. I can't think of anything else! This app is exquisite! The very fact that you wont need Wi-Fi to operate it has me coming back every 30 minutes to check on my cute littleFrogs. I have gotten my iPod taken many times in class due to me taking care of my frogs. The app is simply addicting. I believe that the catalog should be endless. Meaning the amount of frogs you're able to store in it should be endless. This would make fulfilling requests less stressful because the color/breed of the frog specified is already available. Keep more updates coming. ;)

I luv it, luv it, luv it!!!!!!This is SO cute!!!!And addicting... The best part is that it needs NO wifi.... The only thing this needs is a surefire way to earn coins or more space in the habitats... Selling frogs pains me:( or free giveaway habitats... That will sure make this game much more enjoyable. I love frogs and I love this game!!!! I finally made a GLASS and CHROMA frog! For those of you that don't know glass and chroma are the two hardest colors to obtain. Glass is transparent, and chroma is rainbow. I WILL BE HAPPY TO SEND IT TO YOU, but it costs me money to breed them so if you wan me to send you one just add me an send me some frogs that I can sell. This is a wonderful game. I love the colors and habitats and varieties of frogs. I like the element of chance involved in frog breeding - it can certainly be challenging to find the specific frogs needed to win awards. You can spend endless hours hunting dragonflies for your frogs. And of course, you need to find the best strategy for your game in getting $$ and XP. This is truely a game you can play for 2 minutes or for hours. Looking forward to many more updates to this fascinting game. Love, love, love!!!

This game is really great. The sounds are tranquil and not annoying like most "raise your animal" games are. The only things I would recommend are cutting the prices for new habitats, expanding the space you can use in the catalog, maybe making some mini-games for the pond, and making some more options for the habitats-- like cleaning it, food, water, etc. Overall, very cute, addicting, relaxing, fun game. Download it!

I downloaded this game on a whim, and it sat on my Touch for a while. Then, one day, I picked it up and started playing.Instant. Addiction!I love breeding the frogs and facing the request and award challenges. I like the idea that your habitat space is limited and you're forced to make difficult choices as to which frogs to keep; I wish the Catalog had more spaces or that I could figure out how to utilize it more efficiently. I was going to request an index, which I see has just been added--thanks! I would like the ability to change backgrounds without losing the one you have.Thank you for a fun, challenging, and very compelling game!
