Just finished building my first city! Really nice and easy to understand controls. I got through the tutorial pretty fast and after putting in my roads, zoning, residential, downtown, industrial, power plants, waste management and waterlines I was into managing a cool little town. The graphics are pretty freakin killer - they got a lot of detail. Im kinda blown away. Its a cool sense of realism that enhances the simulation. High Fives, dude.

Nice app. Pretty much the same as the last but runs a bit better and looks nicer. Only problem is the price is steep for an iPod game. But without charging that much on apps then Electronic Arts would not be able to afford the 10 million dollar pension plan that some schmuck in an office gets for coming up with the next marketing strategy of taking the same app, coloring over it and selling it for more... Lmfao oh E.A.

I own a 32 gig Ipod Touch, and this game has never crashed on me once. It was so addictive that I played it for about four hours straight, started three seperate cities, and never had any issues with it. It's just like the old Sim City that I used to play a long time ago. The controls are super easy (the tutorial is definitly helpful if you don't catch on). I recommend this to all Sim City fans...you won't be disapointed!

So, I've been playing simcity since the begining, and I really enjoy this version. However, I hope they would include a few more things when and if they update. I wish they would include a subway. I hate only having two options for mass transit, and the trains always take up too much room for my city to matters. Also, I wish they would include some minor things, like when you have the option to build a stadium, I would like to be able to chose what sport stadium to build, and not simply a generic one. I would also like to see a "record" when I click the info over the stadium. But over all, I think they did an excellent job, and would recomend this to any one who is a fan of sim city or of simulation/strategy games.

Could not have asked for better. But seaport still won't develop!

Simcity deluxe makes simcity look like a penny compared to a $100 bill. This game has many benefits over the other game (simcity)• Fast app switching!!!!! I almost exploded when I realized this. ITS ONE OF THE ONLY GAMES WHERE FAST APP SWITCHING WORKS!!!• YOUR MUSIC!!!! they also have some if u want. • UPDATED GRAPHICS• MORE DISASTERS• STARTER CITIES• Challenge cities. If you haven't bought the original SimCity for iPhone, I highly recommend this game. If you do have the original, it is fairly similar and you may not think it's worth the $7. A few nice graphical changes, terrain editor, rotating the map, scenarios to play etc. But they should have some different road types in there, like in Rush Hour. Maybe a future expansion? There are also a few graphical glitches with the overlay maps, showing the zones etc.

Much better than last version and Best on the iPad.

A game like this is not meant for a screen as small as the iPhone or iPod Touch but is great on the iPad and if you like this game I would highly recommend for the iPad. I wish they had a version specifically for the iPad with better resolution but the resolution is not that bad. I wish the cities were bigger and there were more features from Sim City 4 but it's still fun as it is and I have played for a few hours non-stop at a time with no crashing and did not use up the battery.

The game is fun and plays like previous SimCity versions. Game play and interface is similar to SimCity 4 for the PC, minus a number of options. For example, single-lane roads only, no highways, no multi-lane roads. There is basic rail and bus stops, but no subway, nor monorail. There is sea port and airport, but you paint them like zones, not plop them like buildings. There is electric and water plumbing. I have not had crashes like other users. Also, I have no problem with building bridges across water that some have reported. However, I gave only 4 stars because there are a few glitches I've noticed, which others have reported. The water pumps don't work, so you are stuck building water towers. Sims keep clamoring for a stadium, but there is no stadium in any of the menus. Other than a few glitches, if you liked previous versions of SimCity, you should enjoy playing this version.

I remember playing some of the original simcity games on the old computers and the overall concept hasn't really changed. Still a great game. I love the newer graphics compared to the original simcity for iPhone. The 360 degree view is nice, you can see buildings behind skyscrapers and such. Of course, I have to agree with everyone else about the crashing. You basically have to save the game every two minutes to avoid losing much progress, and for that reason alone I gave it four stars. There are other minor bugs here and there, but hopefully the delayed update means they're trying to get everything fixed in one update. That would be awesome.My advice- wait for the update and see if it goes on sale to promote the game. That often happens. Definitely a classic game.

This is my second best game on my iPod touch!!!!! The graphics are good and this game is fun!!!! I like the part where u can customize ur own terrain!!!! The only problem I have with this app is it crash on me 3x since yesterday when I got it!!!! But this game is worth every penny!!!! Nicely done EA except the crash!!!!!!!!!
