This game is awesome its better then any of the $10.00 game you will buy i love the new addition of the shake where you shake you ipod/iphone to the music. I hope they make it so you can play tracks from you itunes library like in the jailbroken verzion. Not many songs out for it right now but their will be more im sure. I was so happy that this was free i still would have bought it even if it was $10.00 because of how awesome the game is. If you don't download this then your making a big mistake its the best game out right now besides cube runner.

In the description it says that the game developed in the app store, but it is totally wrong, before appstore there was something called jailbreak that came with two apps that were called installer and cydia they were download managers just like appstore but the were present before appstore was created, one of my friends had it on his itouch and by installer he downloaded the well known app called Tap Tap about 7 months before the app store was created, in installer you could find most of the expensive games that are in app store in appstore such as x plane in installer for free, and also tap tap was the first game put on installer.

This is quite simply the best game available on the app store for free. It oozes quality and is great fun. Think Guitar Hero on a touch screen. You have to touch at the right point and right time, along to the music. it initially is quite hard to get a good score, but you do get better, and it does get harder as well, once you have mastered the easy mode, move to the next one and you will still find it challenging. I don't often write reviews, but this game makes it worth writing a review, if only just to say thank you to the developer.

This game is a lot of fun. Graphics are smooth and pleasant, the songs are enjoyable and diverse and the gameplay is challenging - or not - the different difficulty levels are well thought out.My only complaint is in regards to the arrows - the left and right ones in particular. I feel like I have to almost throw the iPod for a hit to register. At least you can disable them!Also, I must agree with some others. It would be great if we could play along with our own music and create our own "courses".I must say I was surprised when I learned this was free. It's easily worth a few dollars at least. But I'm certainly not complaining about that!Thanks very much for a great app and yet another wonderful way to be introduced to new music!

I was super stoked to see Tap Tap Revenge show up on the App Store. I've had it since day 1, but forgot to post a review :o). I'm still not the best at hitting the notes when there in that "sweet spot", but all in all the game is amazing. At a price point of "FREE", I would recommend this app to anyone wanting that "Guitar Hero" fix while out on the road...
- And just a quick note, if you have not downloaded/purchased the actual application from the App Store, please do not post up a review.

I've seen the commercials and read the reviews but it wasn't until I broke down and downloaded it did I fully understand. This is one fun as he'll game! Please give it a try. For something free you can't get better than this. Attention all super douches!1.As of now you cannot add or make your own songs due to 2 reasonsa.The apple sdk (software developer kit) does not allow at the moment, access to your iPod app therefore not allowing access to your songs.b.Copyright infringement.This is not tapulous's fault it is apples fault for not allowing developers access to programs outside the app. The Create your own song feature your looking for is in Tap Tap REVOLOUTION, the creator sold it to tapulous and they made a different game out of it. If you want to make your own songs go google Tap Tap REVOLOUTION.2.Don't give a low review just because the app won't start up as this is probably YOUR fault not the developers. either restore in iTunes or contact apple. The only thing I don't like is the music selection, not that it's bad music, it's just not my style. I think that if it isn't possible to access your own itunes library from inside the app then you could make program, kinda like the one for guitar hero that lets you modify songs that you own to work with guitar hero. Labyrinth has a web app that you can access from their site that let's you create levels... maybe you could do something like this where you can save the songs you make online and then import them to your iphone. Other than that, awesome app.

In my option, this is the best app (not just game).
After I played for the Hard mode, I totally like it.
The beating notes are really sync with the music.
If you need new song, just Download it.
I would rather no play than play with un-synced beat from my library.
Hope New Version (or paid version) could include the ablity to sync the beat from the library perfectly for all modes

I love this app and i've spent £70 on apps and this probs my 6th fav (I got 5 pages) but you will never make any money because I bought tap tap dance and was dussapptointed-more efatires on revenge than on dance. Put the wi-fi and download more tracks on tap tap dance and remove from revenge so there the 59 something songs in dance plus other skins and wi-fi but in revenge there are just the 7 or 8 songs it comes with and 2p if you want and you will make alot :)

Tap tap revenge is such a fun and adoring game, my friends always want to play it and so do I. I think you'll love it, anyone can play it since there are levels of difficulty. Songs are updated onto the app once in a while. The best part is, it's free!I only have two complaints that aren't that big of a deal, but would be nice if they could be resolved.-I need harder levels! The extreme levels are quite simple. Can you try to make an expert level or something. It's too easy. And try to make it so when you download songs that you can go back to the home screen and do other things, it is really annoying when I have to wait an hour to play a few new songs.-Also try to give more songs available, but not just songs hardly anyone knows, please give a variety of music ranging from popular songs, to some country, reggae, rap, techno, or rock/alternative.Thanks!

Unlike other free apps, I have never gotten tired of this game. ADDICTING. I would like to see improvements though. I think it would be awesome if I could either 1) Make the songs I download for free to Tap Tap Revenge become part of my iTunes library. That way, I can listen to the great songs while I am on the computer too. 2) Come out with an update that has most iTunes songs eligible to be played on Tap Tap Revenge. I would enjoy playing my favorite songs I bought from iTunes on this game. 3) Another thing I would like to see improved is the Tapulous account. When I edit my account, all it allows me to change are my email and my picture. I would like to be able to change my nickname because I have been deleting my account over & over so I could make a new nickname.

If it wasn't for this game I would have to pay attention in most of my classes I play all day everyday. But my only problem with the new update is all the songs from the old version arn't on this version like the 3oh3 song. And I've noticed that sometimes you have to wait up to 5 minutes to play on an onlyne game I've found my self just closeing the game cuz I don't feel like waiting that long and when you get the 8x multiplyer it freezes for a second which sometimes makes me miss the note right after. And I would like to see extreme songs online I'm bored with the hard ones

wow, if i had known this game existed i would not have wasted money and time buying the other games like monkeyball and the other overhyped games. this is easily the best game i have purchased (free) of all the games i've got; i have 2 younger siblings so I am forced to buy a lot of games that look "cool" like the $10 ones, but this one has been the biggest hit so far for me as a college student all the way down to my 11 year old brother. like I said, this is the best game out there. PLEASE tapulous give us more tracks and I will worship you guys.

Simple, but great. I really like this game, and actually have competitions with my friends at school playing it. Yeah, we're cool. High School stereotypes aside, I will say this: I didn't give it five stars because it seems that the more songs you download, the laggier it gets while playing. That makes it extremely difficult if not impossible. I would be willing to pay if it meant having this problem resolved, but either way, it is the one flaw of this otherwise excellent game.
