Awesome By: BrehmJ - Jun 12, 2010 Version: 1.0 Awesome, but really needs an update including:1. Making it easier to hit zbies through shutters2: Ability to move while being hit3: Different button set-ups; or an option to move the buttons around at will4. Ability to throw grenades5. Options button on the main menu6. Knife attack or a melée weaponAnd maps and guns could be added through other updates or an in-app purchase; I could care less.Totally recommend this app, it's a cheaper version of Nazi Zombies!
I suggest new weapons. By: Bh232271 - Jun 8, 2010 Version: 1.0 Man it's crazy fun. And challenging at first. Easy to master though. Got to round 3 first time (I know sad) then round 6 second time. Add more weapons because in this fame weapons are life. You can also add more maps to make it really fun. I'd even buy a map pack. One last thing when zombies kill you make them eat your fresh while you scream (just for added realism ofcourse) no visuals. Another great game from BP. Can't wait for more.
Stylish Zombie Shooter By: DoubleTime - Jun 11, 2010 Version: 1.0 Undead: The Last Refuge does a nice job of approximating the Call of Duty: Zombies experience, featuring intense gameplay while maintaining a slightly cartoonish feel. Since I started playing, it has been very difficult to put down.Undead strips out all of the bells and whistles to bring you a solid zombie-shooter core. There is just the single game mode, level, and difficulty setting. There are no real options other than a language setting. A local leaderboard maintains your top 5 scores, but offers nothing in the way of comparison to other players.Like COD:Z, you find yourself in a room, defending yourself from the waves of zombies that will eventually breach the three windows. A pistol can be obtained for free from the wall, and additional ammo can be purchased at the same location once you earn some money from killing zombies. Headshots can quickly level the playing field, though any of the multiple zombie-types can require multiple shots to finish the job. Closing the shutters will slow the zombie onslaught, though I found it easier just to let them enter. The pistol holds six bullets, requiring a tap on the reload button or a shake of the device for a fresh clip. There are other areas of the house that become accessible if you’re willing to spend some money. These other areas contain new weapons: a shotgun in one room and a machine gun in the other. Cycling through these weapons is as easy as tapping the weapon button, offering you multiple firing options on the fly. Survive for as long as you can before being overrun. A couple of quick close-range hits from the zombies will spell your end.The controls are easy to get used to and worked well for the most part. Much of the screen is used for aiming, while a movement joypad and fire button adorn the screen’s left side. Your weapon indicator and reload button reside in the upper right corner. Movements are pretty fluid, though I did experience some instances where it felt sluggish or I’d get caught on an unseen floor object or item on a wall. Finding interactive areas (i.e. doorways) isn’t as easy as expected, as the only real indicator is the “pay-to-open” button that appears when you are close enough. Tap-holds will focus your crosshairs for a more accurate shot.Graphically, the 3D modeled environment looks great, with nice use of color and lighting effects to give a pleasing yet sinister feeling. The sounds are creepy, though not as terrifying and immersive as those in COD:Z. Still, footfalls, blood splatters, gunshots, and the like add a lot to the overall experience. Starting the game cycles through three tutorial screens, which is great for the first playthrough, but annoying for each subsequent one as it never goes away. While Undead does a nice job of replicating the single player zombie shooter experience at a substantially lower price, it still lacks the polish of the 800-lb. COD gorilla. However, Undead remains a ton of fun and well worth picking up if you enjoy blasting things that go bump in the night. Recommended!
Forget COD: Zombies By: Xombito - Jun 10, 2010 Version: 1.0 For a while I've been thinking whether or not I should pay the $9.99 for COD Zombies. Well, glad I didn't because this is just as fun and alot cheaper! Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any multiplayer. But the graphics are great and the controls are excellent. It also appears to be running at 60fps. Although I can't be sure of that. If COD seems like a rip off to you this makes for a good other option if you don't mind blasting zombies solo.
It's alrite. By: Popjoker - 10-Jun-2010 Version: 1.0 The graphics are really good and the game runs smoothly. The zombie animations are great and the blood effects and the detailed environment work well. however there needs to be an options menu where you can change the layout of the controls. There also needs to be a co-op mode. And the pistol has to be resized as it takes up alot of the screen but other than that everything is good. For under 2 pounds and the amount of space you save with this app is great

Excellent!! By: SkullScience - 11-Jun-2010 Version: 1.0 Ok, this is an excellent budget version of cod zombies. It plays almost identicle to the aforementioned title but is only single player. It has great graphics and is well paced. As budget titles go this is extremely good. I hope for further improvements and maps via updates, but as things stand, for the money it costs, it is an excellent game!!
Divertissant ! By: Captain Stakhanovist - 11-Jun-2010 Version: 1.0 Un jeu agreable et doté d'un bon gameplay... C'est un bon achat !

Great Game, but... By: rhino6898 - Jun 11, 2010 Version: 1.0 Add:1. More maps2. More weapons3. Online Leaderbords for all devices4. Melee attacks5. Different difficulties
