I purchased this app yesterday and it is now my number on game. I like card and board games and this is the best one since Monopoly (which still wont run on OS3) and it gives me hours of gaming when there is time to kill.
The graphics are great, it would be nice to speed up play it have it adjustable. I am not able to find where I can set the custom rules but for now I am playing it as is. So it looks nice and plays nice, I say it is worth the $5.00

Never crashed, played from the minute I installed it. Have not tried the WIFI multi-player but did try the web based multi-player and it needs some help. Not many rooms with people available and when you get into a room you cannot continue to play with the same people. At he end of the game it should ask "Play again in this room"? So it's a little tedious to keep starting in a new room. But I love the game.

I spent a lot of time with the Uno game. there an easy, intermediate and advance level. it is a little tricky because you need to remember to hit "Uno' if you are down to your last card or in two second the game wil automactically draw two card for not puching the"uno" button on time. the "uno" button would be lower right corner of the phone. other than taht it really a great game I say go for it wirth the money I am glad I bought the game.

Xbox live arcade version for iphone!

I like the graphics and playability of this game! I have this game on my xbox 360 live arcade and this is the pocket version almost identical in look and feel and just as good! If you like UNO the game you will love this if, bit if you have never played before, I'm sorry to say if you buy this you WILL be late for work, picking someone up, catching the train..... You get the picture! Well done gameloft (again!), I actually look up your games now rather than wait for them to hit top 25!!!!

People, don't even think about passing this up.
This is a really good card game, and there is no ending like other games around.
so you dont have to worry about finishing the game, because this game does not finish.
it keeps going , very well worth the money spent.
I am trying to find more games.
I clicked the "More Games" in the UNO game,
to by Backgammon, Platinum Solitaire, Chess Classics, Brain Challenge, Block Breaker 2 Deluxe & Diamond Twister.
And it keeps taking me to a weird website page.
Whats going on, I thought its suppose to send you straight to Apple Store.
PS. please make more games for iphone - thanks

Very smooth and intuitive implementation of the classic card game. Perfect for quick pick up and play sessions.Tournament mode has unlockables such as new backgrounds, new music and avatars. And the background music is top notch, creating a very casual atmosphere!Best part of the game is the multiplayer mode, play with up to 4 players anywhere in the world. It's the only online selectable rule that doesn't effect the game as far as I can tell. What does it do? Apart from that mystery, it's a very addictive ahem! 6am ahem! Game. You just won't put it down. In an update I would like to see:1) the selectable rules fully explained. 2) the option to add a rule that will only allow you to finish with a number card. 3) text chat for online games. 4) the option to add a rule that will allow you to draw a card from the deck even if you have a playable card. Why you ask? If someones about to win and you have no way of stopping them, a last desperate attempt to draw a +4 wild card or +2 draw card would at least give you a fighting chance. (This is what turning off Force Play should have been)5) and lastly, maybe a different mode of online playing that would have some 'power' type cards, like in Star Trek Uno. Double Tribble anyone?! A wonderful game guys, thanks for giving me sleepless nights!!Must......turn.......off......light......

Thanks to Gameloft, I really love playing this game, online playing especially. Thing I don't like are network error when I use my 3G network also during game play gets network error so it paused the game (as I experienced) but works fine with WiFi; as other reviews said, some loser players like to paused the game after the other players win in order to disable the winner of getting scores. So please fixes these error.

I haven't tried the network thing but I don't care about it so I don't know that part. I love the graphics, the ease of play, when you slide the card it almost feels real. I love the different house rules when you play tournament mode. The rule where you can't draw if you have a card that plays is fair and just another challenge. I love the extra things you win, I love the little icons, would like more than five letters for my name though. I love how each background is associated with a different sound track, and how the background of the scoring randomly changes so it doesn't get boring. I love the different challenge levels. I am working on hard now and it's the very last level that is very difficult! These AI. Seem to gang up on me! Anyway, awesome game! Well done!

Great game, incredible graphics, unbeatable tecnopop music... What could be wrong with it? Well I'll tell you. If you go into Quick Play mode (which is regular UNO rules) it is impossible to beat Normal or Hard! There needs to be a merge between Normal and Easy! I mean, the only goal of the cpu is to prevent you from playing ANY cards. With easy it's just about the opposite. If you go into custom and turn on "jump in" and "penalties", then those same computer players are 20% easier to beat. My point being this: with normal UNO rules you have to have like 2 wild draw 4's or more in order to have any chance in even getting down to one card! But overall, the pro's beat the con's and you have beautifully designed card game.

This application gets the well deserved title of my 'most played app'. I think it's a superb little colourful ray of fun! I am a fan of UNO, have been since the old days, and this does not disappoint. So often when you complete the story/adventure/arcade etc etc mode, you don't bother with the app again. Not the case here. I have completed the 15 levels, but still play this just as much either on quick play or over the wifi, which I have to say, never had a problem with. Has never crashed for me either, maybe I'm just lucky... But it's a winner for me. All hail UNO!!

Great game, little bit slow, but doesnt take the enjoyment out of it.
Can't work work out to change the backgrounds that you can win, I must be being daft cos it cant be that hard to find.

Just figured out how to change backgrounds....
mid game click the home icon in the top left.
select the Settings icon (cogs) in the bottom right
Select backgrounds
Pick the unlocked background you want
Done
Good AI, Good game variations, Classic game.
Multiplayer is great online - little thin on the ground at the moment but i'm sure it will pick up

A qualtiy title overall, nice touch that it remembers your place if you quit the game for any reason, good graphic's (shame you can't choose a background from the off though) nevertheless very fun to play! For Itouch users you can call "Uno" by tapping the icon when it is presented (before playing last card) so the previous comment is incorrect. You can call "Uno" and not occur a penalty.
Bad points, minor one's really, the "More Games" button on the Main Menu looks naff, and to be honest the program should speak for itself, no need for annoying advertising. I agree with the prizes, backgrounds, icons etc - hardly worth it really! As mentioned, I would rather choose a background from the start.
Great game and very pleased with purchase, highly recommended! I will definately watch out for future titles from this publisher.

A must for the Uno fan!

Great game and loved it since I was a kid, but this needs a couple of scoring, return to game bug fixes and controls to be 100%. A must is a cancel button if a 4 draw wild is used. I have been dinged many times due to I was unable to return the card I accidentally selected due to it was close to the card I wanted. 8 bucks is a little high, but multiplayer is a nice touch and Gameloft keeps its games updated nicely. 5 stars for sure!

the new update makes this game a must buy

Uno is a really fun and addictive game, i play it on xbox live and its great playing online with friends, so i bought this as soon as i saw it, but i was dissapointed when my favorite thing about the game was missing, and that was the online multiplayer. but now a new 3.0 update has been release bringing online and local multiplayer which is great to play, and not only that the game now has push notifications and a xbox live style gamercard, complete with achievements and friends list which is now going to be spread across all gameloft games.
must buy with the new update!

I was a little hesitant to spend $6 on a game but I have to admit it was worth every penny. Out of all the apps I've installed on my Iphone, this is the one I play the most. Graphics and sound are excellent. Gameplay is easy to follow and works well with the touchscreen. The tournament mode throws some Uno variations at you that are very exciting to play. Once you start playing, it's easy to kill a couple hours on this one.

I LOVE PLAYING UNO!! This game is very fun. Gameloft did and excellent job with this one worth the money IMO. You can tell they took the time to think out the touch features and their work has paid off. I hope other card games learn from their interface. I would only consider adding a couple things to the game to make it more fun...
1) Allow people to draw even if they have a wild card. Sometimes I don't want to use my wild cards yet. Also if this is allowed maybe add a challenge to the draw or the other person has to draw two.
2)Add a game option to draw until you get a playable card. If you do not have the color or the number currently in play you are forced to keep drawing until you get a card you can use.
3)Allow cancel jump in's for wild cards. It seems pointless to use up two wild cards on accident.
4) Consider letting people play online using EDGE or 3G
Congrats on the sleek interface and easy gameplay its a solid well thought out iPhone game. Thanks for the game, I enjoy it!

UNO has always been a great card game, and in recent years has translated very well to video games. It was great on Xbox Live and it's great on the iPhone. This is basically the same game as the XBL one (including online play!), except with added tournament modes. Some may see it as a little pricey (currently $7.99), but I thought it was worth the money. One of my most played and favorite iPod Touch games.

It depends on how many apps you have. iPhone has good enough ram for a certain amount of apps. This app takes a lot of memory to do so. This app has crashed on my 2g iPod touch which means that it takes a lot of ram. To free up memory you restart your iPod/iPhone, or you hold down the home button on your desired application. Both these actions terminates the processes running in the backround. Hopes this helps, also to those reading this.

My wife, the kids & I started playing once I got it downloaded. We've had loads of fun. The wi-fi worked ok. It had a few issues with freezing up at first but after a reeboot of the iPhones & iPod touch it worked smoothly. I love the game and it was some good family quality time without having to clean up or argue about how the cards were shuffled. Still, I have a few suggestions to offer. 1. It woud be nice to be able to continue playing in a Wi-Fi or live session after the game is over. Currently it makes you either to recreate the room or rejoin.2. An ability chat/txt with multiplayers on Wi-Fi or live games3. Adding people you have played with to a prefered or friends list.
