Really Good Game

I seriously don't know where all of the bad reviews are coming from, but this is a really good game! I was scared to download this game originally because of the bad reviews, but I am so happy I overlooked them. I downloaded about a week and a half ago (would've been earlier if I wasn't so afraid of the reviews), and it has become my new staple (surpassing cookie solitare) if what I play on my phone when I'm bored. Not saying that you'll love it as much as I do, but don't let the bad reviews intimidate you. Download and try it for yourself first. And keep in mind, it is a free/lite version. There is appearently a full version for purchase (which frankly may be the first app I actually buy; I just haven't gotten tired of the lite version yet).

If this company could work out the kinks and make it a true pool game I would pay money for this. Its pretty accurate for a video game on an ipod, I've been playing pool for 15 years and this game is pretty damn accurate.
I reccommend trying it. The only I don't like is that its the first person to knock in 3 balls and it doesn't matter if its stripes or solids.
I hope someone comes out with a legit pool game because its a really adaptable game for ipod touch. Hope this helped.

There are arrows that make it easier to control but they are hidden by default. To show them there is a light grey button on the left side. Press it and the arrows appear which should make it a little easier to control. You can "lock on" to each ball by pressing the arrows which makes it easier to target a specific ball. Only problem is when free shooting the camera is a little quirky and could be refined I hope this makes sense to you guys. Edit: to the guy dissin' the girl. WTF! She is smoking hot!

For a Demo app, this game is great! After winning, I can't help but start another game. Three balls leaves me wanting more -- which is good for a demo app!There are a few features I'd like to see in the full version, though:- 9-ball- Undo- "Instant Replay" (I make killer Jump Shots!)- Freakin' Laser Beams (Apologies to Dr. Evil) by which I mean "line of sight" indicators, optionally.- "Unlock" Characters; Celebrities (Like Dr. Evil, hehe)I also find myself trying to "tilt" the table to nudge the balls in. :-)Also, rather than selecting the object ball by up/down thru the numbers, either tapping that ball, or iterating left/right between the actual balls and where they are on the table might be nice. *Shrug*

At first I wanted to write a 1 star review because the controls and camera seemed so weird, but it just takes a little bit of getting used to. Once you figure out how to properly control the cue, then you're fine. The game isn't perfect, but it's not bad. Easily the best I've played for the iPhone so far (and I'm not even that big of a pool fan).
Areas it needs to improve upon are just some minor control/camera tweaks to make it easier and less sensitive (a simple slight slide can make it go from max zoom in to max zoom out). And some different game modes.
This is a free app, but I would be satisfied if I paid for it. Worth keeping and trying it out if you're looking for games.

I can't tell you the number of times I've been playing the full verson of this on the train & come very close to missing my stop because I've been engrossed in winning!
I feel the only flaws are that you can't have more choices about who you play. Only 4 characters to chose from. And that's the full version. Also, I think the games might be fixed. Why can't the players win fair and square?
Apart from that, the full version is well worth downloading. It's under a fiver & money well spent.

Well, for starters, yes, it is a lite version, so therefore you can't do much other than play straight pool, but you do get the idea that it's a pretty good game with great graphics and great gameplay, right :) I think I'll get the full version soon enough, because the game is somewhat addicting :P But, as a minus and a plus, the game itself adjusts your next hit so that you could score a point or two and it's the same with the opponent; that means you have to get your 3 points on your first turn, otherwise she's bound to win :) Oh, and yes, it would be great to play proper pool, too, not just the 3-point-maximum! :) So 4 stars from me

I didn't like the 3ball in win or lose at first but it's quick gradification and entertainment (if you win). The only draw back I have now is that it's to addictive. Great app!

Since I'm not a "professional" pool player, I love this game, it' easy and the graphics are great. I have NO idea why this only has two stars. I wish you could play a full game, but overall im totally satisfied. Get it.
