Beautiful rebuild start!  By: jetsk1 - Sep 30, 2010 Version: 2.0 I have no issues throwing some $ to DailyBurn for a stable, useful app. The in-app purchase to enable the integrated FoodScanner is a great idea. I used to hate going between the two apps. Killing the screen rotation works for me - makes app more stable.Keep up the good work!People, if you're having issues, go online to DailyBurn.com forums and give more details. This is the best way to communicate. How is anyone going to fix issues if you don't communicate properly?!? Leaving 1 star and saying the app doesn't work is idiotic.
Much better than version 1  By: JKueck - Sep 29, 2010 Version: 2.0 I use DailyBurn just to track nutrition and my current weight so I can't comment on the other features (GymBuddy rocks). I was pretty fed up with previous versions: crashed all the time, slow, weird UI issues. This new version is MUCH BETTER. Fast to start up, food entry is quicker, and it doesn't crash! A few small bugs: charts don't go back far enough, daily nutrition summary (prot, carb, fat, etc) doesn't show my current numbers when its first opened. If I click on the individual item in the summary and go into it, when I return then the value appears correctly.
Perfect app for weight loss  By: tonypi - Oct 7, 2010 Version: 2.0 I can't say enough about this app. Especially the updated combo app. I needed help tracking my diet and I just couldn't write it down. I'm a techie and I wanted something to finally help me. Well, I started it in January. I eventually mastered what I wanted to eat after a couple of months of using the app. I lost 100 lbs!! Now I'm using it again to get disciplined again, and lose fat. Just can't say enough about this app. Yeah, it didn't lose the weight for me, but it helped a lot!!
Smoother interface, well laid out  By: Thadjudkins - Oct 1, 2010 Version: 2.0 So far I'm quite happy with this version. My only complaints are:1) the use of scroll wheels instead of keypads to get to times and the like because it's a pain to scroll to something like 45 minutes where it would be much easier to type on a number pad2) they got rid of the notes field for custom exercises where I'd commonly record inclines or the likeMy biggest new feature wish would be (more) local caching so common foods, my foods, exercises and the like would already be there and it would only have to hang and remotely search for other things I was to search for. Overall the app is quite good though and I'm very happy with it.
Motivates and keeps me on track!  By: PumpIronAllDay - Oct 1, 2010 Version: 2.0 Version 2.0 is great. Saves the state, so I can switch in and out of the app during my workout without having to browse back to where I was. Overall this app does what it is supposed to, and with daily burn online I can see progress of individual exercises. I haven't used the nutritional features much, but the workout tracking feats work well. I would add graphs for exercises in app. Also, the weight progress line graph only shows the few data points which are close to the goal, the rest lay under the graph's range, bug maybe? Tnx for this sweet app!
Shiny, but you lose out.  By: PinkFox5 - 2-Oct-2010 Version: 2.0 The new interface is great. Easier to read and quicker start up than DB 1.0 and the workout selection is better. Also the food scanner works well; that is, if someone's scanned the food already & gives the option to add it in if it wasn't previously. BUT THIS IS NOT FREE! It's another $2.99. BUT, if you had the Pro version with 1.0 you lose the additional features of sodium, sugar, etc counts. It now falls under the $9.99 pro version. If you're happy with what you're getting with 1.0 version (pro) then don't upgrade.
Nice Design  By: CurtisKey - Oct 11, 2010 Version: 2.0 Works and looks great! Nice functionality. There are a few bugs that lock up the app. Also, I find it slightly misleading to market all of the features of the "free" app when in fact "all" of the features requires an addition purchase and monthly membership fee however, the upgrades aren't required if you are just looking for a calorie tracker. The bar code feature is sweet! I've lost 100lbs by counting calories and this app does exactly what I need.
Stability trumps interface quirks  By: JaySwede - Oct 8, 2010 Version: 2.0 I use DailyBurn mostly to track custom workouts at the gym. Sadly, this function is buried deep in the menu choices. There are a few hangups in the new interface that will get worked out as the interface matures.The best improvement is the app not crashing randomly through a workout. Their are a few crashes littered around the app but hopefully the DailyBurn team will get them worked out in future versions.
Best available  By: Report a Concern - Version: This app is almost perfect and has helped/been helping me a lot. It's really worth trying I'd say. Logging what you eat really makes you not want to cheat :P

Great app!  By: Hollywoodxpinup - Sep 30, 2010 Version: 2.0 I haven't had this for to long now, but I love it! After having my daughter I've really been wanting to loose that xtra weight, but it's so hard to keep track of everything I eat, I take my iPod with me everywhere already so now this is ALWAYS with me and helps me stay on track! Just the calorie counter alone has been a tremendous help! I'd recommend this to anyone =)
