really the best fitness app in the store  rating of iBody - 2009 Mobie Awards Winner
By: Majorkarl - Jun 21, 2009
Version: 1.4
The BP bug is fixed now in 1.7.4 and they have lowered the price! Great!iBody is the Swiss Army Knife of a fitness application. Other apps I tried did as good of a job keeping track of certain body changes but none covered so many. And the tracking is awesome, I use it on every day.To avoid crashing just reboot your iPhone once you installed the app - thats the trick for all larger apps I use. Very good work all around. The price is high but worth it.

First App to Address Body Fat !!!  rating of iBody - 2009 Mobie Awards Winner

This is a killer app. There's a reason it's an award winner. I cannot tell you how many apps are just using BMI (basically a useless measurement), when what's most important is body fat percentage. I searched for over a year for an app just to record body fat. There are other great features. I emailed the developer with an idea and he replied right away. I suspect this app, will be a superstar to watch over the coming months!

Great Fitness App  rating of iBody - 2009 Mobie Awards Winner

I've found iBody to be an extremely useful app. In fact it's pretty much my favourite app right now! Rather than trying to replace your personal trainer (and let's face it, that's not necessarily a good idea anyway), iBody focuses instead on providing strong logging and reporting functions. Data entry is easy, but very customisable to the sports you do and whatever data you may have access to. If you happen to have a heart-rate monitor or blood pressure cuff, for example, you can track and graph those values as well as the basics like distance, speed etc. The run/ride tracker works great too, reducing the effort of data entry pretty much to zero.I reported a few small issues to the developers (just a couple little typos) and received replies immediately. An excellent level of support like that goes some way towards justifying the price, which seemed a little on the high side to me, at least for apps in the Australian app store. Though to put it in perspective, I realised it's not much more than the price of a beer, and probably quite a bit better for me than a beer too! Anyway I bought it and I'm totally happy with it. It's meeting my needs perfectly and then some, and the devs are friendly and responsive. What more could I ask for? So 5 stars from me.Note there seems to be more screen shots in iTunes than what you can see on the app store on your iPhone. They look to be from an older version, but they might give you a better idea of what it looks like.

Best I've found.  rating of iBody - 2009 Mobie Awards Winner

I've tried a few health tracking app's. I think this is the easiest. Quick & easy interface. The cleanest, most concise email reporting format I've come across so far. Sure it's a little pricey compared to other app's, but I would've saved as much if I'd have found this before the other 6 app's I've bought! It is a little buggy, which is why it gets four stars, but there's nothing terminal & support is first class; very prompt and open to suggestions. Really good stuff.

Exactly What I Needed  rating of iBody - 2009 Mobie Awards Winner
By: JCCampbell - Aug 14, 2009
Version: 2.0
Finally, an App that will let me track my vitals. I use the "Lose It!" App for calorie and exercise tracking, but I was never able to find an App that also allowed me to track blood pressure, pulse and my weight stats (BMI, % lean, %fat, etc). The iBody App was just what I was looking for. It lets me decide just how much I want to track - and disabling/enabling the tracking for a particular statistic is easy and fast.
I have an iPod Touch (1st Gen) so I am not able to use the GPS function yet - but I am considering getting one now, since my contract with VZW is ending soon. That will make the iBody App even more useful.
My only negative - and it's minor - is the number selection spinner graphic. It seems too small. Both size and color make it too "Windows/PC" looking. When selecting a number, I am unable to tell what number I am on unless I am watching the number increase or decrease above the dial. In Apps with larger graphics, you can dial in your number just by the visual feedback from the dial itself. Perhaps the next update may see changes in that area. Other than that, I like everything about this app, and the cost was not prohibitive. Health and fitness apps that do what they are supposed to are always worth it for me.

Most comprehensive healthcare & fitness app available, not without flaws though.  rating of iBody - 2009 Mobie Awards Winner

iBody is arguably the most comprehensive healthcare & fitness app available, however it's not without flaws. It's UI controls and choice of hard-to-read tacky lime green color over white is not the best I have seen, it's graphing capabilities are still simplistic, and it's fitness logging capabilities are not as flexible as others fitness apps. A fine app overall, which will hopefully get better over time.

Best tracking app yet. V1.7.5  rating of iBody - 2009 Mobie Awards Winner
By: ironmanvince - Jun 24, 2009
Version: 1.7.5
This is, by far, the best fitness tracking app I've tried. I've downloaded the other tracking apps offered in the AppStore and had very mixed results. With iBody, I can track my bike rides, inline skating, walking, etc. It's the only app that tracks so many different exercises. Plus, it maps my routes, for the most part. Also, a good value for the price. I use this for every workout.

I was looking for an application to track my body fat and what I found was so much more. I think every serious athlete should use I body to keep ahead of the game. If you are serious about your training you should have this application.

First I use the free version for my weight, and I discover the complete soft.
Now I can keep track of my weight, blood pressure and cholesterol, and my exercice (I can not call this fitness as I am only walking every day)
and the support is awesome and they plan to improve it in the future.
I recommend it strongly

I have been using this app for about 2 months. I am on a weight loss program so I use this app to record my weight, measurements, blood presure, and lab results. It's great to have everything in One place. I recently bought a new iPhone and the developer was very helpful in getting my data transferred to the new.

If you want to lose weigh, this is a great program. I took the printout of Weight and Blood Pressure records to my doctor and he almost fell out of his seat with excitment ! I lookforward to future version that allow waist and other measurements to be recorded as well! Buy It !!!

iBody is a great programme to keep track of your achievements of your sport (in my case running). you can easily type in your distance and time and iBody displays with diagraphs your progress. the same counts for your weight.
but unfortunatelly the tracking feature is a waste as it doesnt doesnt work at all.

This App has all the functions I need to monitor Body Fat/muscle proprtion/weight etc. Plus the fitness/workout log and finally the Tracking fuction for when I'm out on my bike. I have been using a number of different apps to collect all this data, now I can use just the one app for all my needs. What a great App.

Good app, but a bit pricey, expecially considering it comes with bugs. Latest rev (1.7.2), the Blood Pressure sliders are frozen.
