Hi there, we just got a flat-coated retriever puppy about 3 weeks ago, who is about 10 weeks old now. Tonight we had a few friends over for drinks and our puppy was really hyperactive, humping his basket. He was so excited - nothing could stop him from doing that. Then I remembered this App and I thought I'd try it out to calm him down. I switched it to the 'sleep' frequency, held it next to his ear and amazingly he stopped what he was doing instantly, and in a mesmerized fashion was trying to establish where the sound was coming from. After about 2 minutes he slowly walked over to his comfy cot and fell asleep! Amazing - 5*.
I know this sounds like an incredible story and you must think this is some silly promotional gag - but it is a true story. I tried it myself to help me fall asleep, but I'm not sure how much it actually worked on me. I guess the dog's subliminal threshold is at a more perceptive level. It's a free app, so if you have a dog, try it out!
Innovator Studios - ever thought of changing the marketing for this app and selling it as a "dog calming app"?

I have tried many different binaural programs over the years but none have been as effective as iBrainWave in inducing sleep. I set the timer for 45 minutes each night but am fast asleep after just a few minutes of listening! If you can manage to stay awake while you are listening to it, say during the day, it slowly and naturally forces the nervous system to relax. Great for overcoming the stresses of the day. Highly recommended app and I hope IS LC continue to develop it!

The claims of some of these comments that this app causes hearing Loss and cancer are completely untrue. This app doesn't have any high frequencies or else you would hear a high pitched, extremely annoying noise. This app doen't cause cancer either, in fact some docters actually recommend binaural beats to help stimulate or relax the brain. If this app was dangerous there would A, be a lot more comments describing the health risks and some actual proof from site. Look up binaural beats on wikipedia and you should find the facts.( and for all of you who distrust wikipedia, come on, who's going to tamper with a page like that, and you also have to back up claims with citations, or quotes.) This app works.

First, it cant cause cancer. 16000hz is the kind of hearing loss frequency they are talking aboutIt works great. The only thing is that i read some of the comments about wierd dreams and i just thought about the fist time i tried the app, i had a wierd dream, but it was wierd in a cool way.Also, the thing about hearing voices, you could be naturally paranoid, and the stimulation caused by this app is just like using weed or alcohol, sometimes it can cause halucinations (hearing voices). Id say it is nothing to be afraid about. If you hear something just stop using the app

I love this app. Some of the reviews here where given poorly, do to there lack of knowlage. When the brain starts to work at the same frequency as a binaural beat, patterns in brain wave movement can be altered. This helps people reduce their amount of stress, which can ultimately lead to a better overall health. At current standing, stress is seen as one of the top causes of cancer and various other serious ailments. Along reduction of stress, scientists are speculating that binaural beats will have an impact in stimulating the natural creativity of a person's brain. I would have to say to Innovator Studios LC, give us more! This is great stuff! Keep up the good work! There's a world of competition and hopfully you'll stay ahead of the game.

The only thing that really stopping me from buying the full ap is that you cannot change the base frequency of the tones. That is, I'd like the pitch to be lower sometimes, as low as 60 or even 40Hz and still be able to control the beat frequency. I just like the really low tones. Do that and I'll easily buy this as I've found it to be a superior beat generator. The loop playback apps I've bought all have pops and looping problems with the "pure" tones of the binaural tones.

Ive been using this program frequently as it really seems to work for me.
I would however REALLY like to be able to control the volume of the River Backround and White Noise in addition to the Binaural Beat volume.
I suggest giving it a shot for longer then 5 minutes instead of just deciding its a waste. Leaving it on 'normal' really works for me but I find I get a bit of a 'buzzing' heacdache if I listen for too long.
Good app! Ability to control volume on the backrounds would make it a 5-star.

I truely have no bad points now that I think about it. I got this last night, put my headfones on and put it on sleep. I figured it'd be another bull program just making sounds so 10 minutes in.... I am very relaxed and minutes later I am passed out and feeling very well rested this morning. I have been having trouble sleeping lately and tried ambient music and other things but this worked. Also, I have seizures, and I can use this with no reprocussions I welcome any questions

The only thing I would like to add to this ap is the ability to precisely control the volume of each sound component separately so as to acheive a balance between each sound that is desirable for each listener. Otherwise, I find this ap to work as advertised. You would spend 30 times the cost of the paid ap for something similar in high-end specialty stores. Try this free version to see for yourself.
